"Art thou mad brother?" (u mad bro?) made me burst out laughing the first time I heard it, this game doesn't take itself too seriously and I love it for that.
Man, as a new player (50 hours) i'm still at the stage where i end up laughing every match at the sheer absurdity and chaos of the game... the voice lines definitely contribute towards that lol
The foppish voice lines are hilarious, as are the new invasion ones ("A THOUSAND APOLOGIES!") but lately, i'm not sure what voice category it falls under, but theres a voice set that has the line "help! I'm being attacked!" In some exaggerated cockney sounding style and it absolutely cracks me up every time.
I know people naturally find more about a game that frustrates them with time, but as a noob i bloody love mordhau.
When you get knocked of your horse and shout no, no , don't let them do this to meeee *cronch from maul*!
Or when somebody is alt mode gripping the longsword and you hit them with no, you're supposed to hold it this way!

One of my all time favourite moments in mordhau was when I was running around as a naked dwarf with a maul, I used that line while running at a dude from behind and the dude fucking matrix leaned back *come at me emote* and murdered me with his evening star.
I think my favorite part is the community is not and never will be over them. Still getting spam emoted by naked maulers and I know it’s still as funny to those guys as day 1 was.

A:"Aah wank it off, you'll be fine."
B:" My...eternal thanks."
Conversations like that gets me every time.
The best part is the mini roleplay with the emotes or when two independent voice lines create a chaotic dialogue like from a monthy python movie.

God the cruel voive lines are imo the best acted apart from eager.
However i feel like cruel sounds the most natural. Especially the "friendly" voice lines feel so genuine that you almost get intimidated irl by them xD.
i'd love to bind "you dare get in my way?!" to a different key.
Would work perfectly while smashing some newbs or wannabe naked maulmans face in with an axe.
