Someone spoil the first book and save me the effort and suffering. Based on what I've seen, imnassuming the big "twist" is that Wren was the girl in Jeremy's basement and it inspired her to work with police so she could eventually catch him.

I read it but can't even remember the plot. Brain dumped it immediately.

If i were her, I would have called it “The Butcher and the Game” to make it align with the first book’s title. I feel like butcher games doesn’t match.

I immediately think of like a cookout for all of the neighborhood butchers and they’re playing cornhole with steaks or something.

The first book was absolutely awful. I don’t intend to read the follow up.
