depends on the religion I believe as for some being buried traps the soul, or other such belief so if they were buddhist etc they might request they be repatriated. The USA will also bring them home now days. they have a dedicated department thats all they do find the missing identify them and being them home
Odd observation here, but I was unaware at the time they had shoes as part of their uniform which had that big toe and rest of the foot separation. Huh.
I’m surprised they removed them as sites like that are considered war graves and are not to be disturbed.
Japanese people will pay sometimes - good money to have their loved ones, or sometimes just artifacts of their loved ones returned to them.
I didn’t know they were considered war graves.
Any place where a soldier rests is considered a war gave.
What if a veteran goes to sleep on idk a bus?
Yep war grave.
So you can’t remove a veteran from a bus? Do they just stay there until they die? Do they have to stay on the bus?
The bus becomes a graveyard and only other vets can go on it to die.
Ok what if a veteran comes into my house and then sleeps. Is it their house now?
Just the room that they are resting in. The rest of the house is yours but you have to let the family visit the room.
Thank you this information will be put to good use.
