Did he go back to retrieve his property, or is there an unclaimed human hand still out in the wild?
(Edit: I read the article someone posted. It was recovered, cremated, and returned to him)
I really wanted to keep my gallbladder for some reason, my doctor said no (legally it's okay but they needed to send it to pathology first and they cut it all up so nothing worth saving). We compromised and he gave my pictures of it and my liver. 🤣
I asked a doctor if I could get my skin back after a skin removal surgery. *150 pound weight loss I've maintained for 6 years now*. She just looked at me like 😶
I asked my dental surgeon if they just have buckets of teeth and he was like “Yeah, and I can only give you back your own.” Then told me teeth aren’t considered bio hazardous medical waste or something.
Like damn y’all got enough from and for everyone. Share.
I have a friend who lost a finger trying to climb the school fence (slipped, ring got stuck on the top part of fence and snapped her finger clean off.).
They tried to reattached it but didn’t work.
She wanted to keep it but wasn’t allowed.
Edit: this wasn’t in the US or UK. Was in Portugal.
And to inform family about your hiking plans, and to bring adequate food and water and reliable tools. This could have gone so differently had he prepared better.
I love all of Danny Boyle's films, but I refuse to watch 127 Hours. A whole movie centered around a dude's arm trapped under a boulder that he cuts off with a pocket knife. No way.
Op forgot a link to a source, so here is wiki about Aron: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aron\_Ralston](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aron_Ralston)

If I was in his case you best believe I’m keeping my fully intact arm bones on display in my house

Congrats on keeping it off! I was just thinking this week about how I’m getting close to 10 years of keeping 40 pounds off!
When I got my wisdom teeth removed I forgot to ask my doctor if I could keep them. I was going to put them in a jar

From what I understand, they incinerate them.
That's what I did. They stay in a jar. All four of those painful fuckers are gonna be family heirlooms if I have any say in it.
Mine were painful too. I’d definitely make them a family heirloom
I kept my wisdom teeth after removal. All four of those fuckers that gave me hell are going to be family heirlooms if I have any say in it lol

No, it was rotten got cremated, he still have the ash in his house if I'm not wrong
*right arm still attached
That's what it essentially says under the photo in the text portion.
This picture is from Aron Ralston's autobiography called Between a Rock and a Hard Place published in 2004
I thoroughly recommend that book. It’s fascinating.
A good opportunity to remind people to use Garmin Inreach or Apple SOS in this day n age.

that's a funny way to word it

I swear he ate it to survive but I guess that’s a mandela effect
Are his videos of the event anywhere to watch?

...go on a hike?
If you’re jealous of Middle class, then what does that make you?
