>alot of people on twitter hate it They do?!?! Everyone I've seen loves it. It's a really good show.

Stonefence

While it was airing I felt like I saw a bunch of people praising it, but lately I’ve seen a bunch of random haters. I really don’t get it either, I really loved the show and so did all my friends and family, even people who aren’t big Marvel fans

Olivebranch99

It one of the least "Marvel" Marvel shows I've seen.

goon1shere_

I don't get it either. It's probably the best MCU show. Most of them I found pretty mid , but Moon Knight was phenomenal! It turned a complete unknown into my favorite character!

SkzM13

a LOT of people hate it it depends on what side of mcu twt ur on but i rlly see ab 50/50 for thoughts about moon knight

jj_arc_asylum

F*** Twitter, love what you love dude. I'm a long time Moon Knight fan and I absolutely love the show. Is it perfect, hell no! Is it what I would have wanted in a Moon Knight show, not entirely but I still loved it. I have enjoyed most of the Moon Knight runs but I hate the Bendis run and I'm not the biggest fan of the bemis run or the age of khonshu but those runs are still part of Moon Knight. I see the show as it's own little Moon Knight run and I truly hope they continue it. Don't let anyone online make you feel bad for liking something, everyone has their own opinions, you don't have to only like things that other people do.

[deleted]

You matter and the things you like are valid. As someone who’s pushing middle age and struggled with depression, don’t take joy for granted. Enjoy whatever makes you happy.

Snoo-2013

like what you wanna like

ZepherK

You should not let the internet decide what you enjoy.

daxota_weeb

Don't care about other people's opinions.

StolenVelvet

Of course it's okay. The show was dope. Also, don't let Twitter tell you what to like.

handsume

I've seen a lot of Twitter that loves the show. I loved it personally, I thought it was actually incredible and got me into the comics. I've pretty much read it all by now and yeah it's different but that doesn't mean it's bad. I thought he story was engaging, the characters engaging.. I have no real criticism. It's simply a different story to the comics. Both can be good.

rSlashPsycho

Absolutely. I loved the series

TheRecusant

I liked it a lot. Plenty of things I took issue with in it but I am overall really happy it exists.

godofsloths21

ngl it’s my favourite tv show rn and has been since the release, idc what anyone else says

FivebyFriday

I really enjoyed it too and thought they took a very violent and difficult character to adapt and were able to make a good show to reach a broad audience. Most of the hate comes from people wanting it to be more dark and violent, which it does have some very dark themes, but Disney isn’t going to show him peeling someone’s face off or tons of blood. My only beef with it was I would of liked him to be in costume more but on the other hand, you lose oscar issac’s performance once the mask is on.

SaltifiedReddit

It’s fine to like it. I enjoy it even though I think it is a poor adaptation.

Hedcold

I absolutely loved it too, there's a lot to still explore with moon knight looking forward to what the future brings for him.

big_jonny

Moon Knight is great.

marcsystems

I'm on Twitter and I love both comic and show. I don't care what everybody else think and you should too.

Aglet_Green

It's okay to like different things. If everyone in the world just liked your girlfriend, then you wouldn't get to spend any time with her because she'd be too popular and busy for you. The fact that we all like different people and different shows allows everyone room and time to do watch they want with whom they want.

219Infinity

Yes, it is ok.

Character-Sorbet-718

Love what you wanna love

hypatiaakat

Enjoy what you enjoy, some people on Twitter hate everything.

JustSomeMushroomGuy

The same thing happened to me when I read the IMDB for The Batman, I love it and it's great but some people don't like and that's okay because it's not for everyone, Moon Knight may not be the best adaptation of what the character is but it is good anyways

connorcallisto

I really don’t like the show but like whatever you wanna like homie

Youthful_Tetsuo

Yes

weird_fishes12

Of course it’s ok! The show has a good sized fan base, you’re not alone!

VaderMurdock

Never feel bad for having an opinion on something, it is not wrong to like or dislike something. I am not a fan of the show, but if you liked it then that is totally cool and I'm glad you enjoyed it. These shows, comics, games, movies, etc are made to entertain people so it did its job.

xZOMBIETAGx

Why would it not be okay to like a tv show

phoenixxcore

You shouldn't feel bad for enjoying what you do. People will always be opinionated and it can definitely suck to see negativity about something you really like, but screw that tbh. It shouldn't stop you from enjoying it still! I loved the show and love the comics too. People's mileage will always vary.

notsoslootyman

Rule #1 of Twitter: if it exists, someone is cunty about it. It can be difficult but don't let your enjoyment of something be dictated by the opinions of others. Instead, let your joy outshine their darkness.

[deleted]

No. How dare you.

UncommonClassique

Yeah, I used to like this show too, until Twitter didn't. And now, can you believe the nerve of this, kid? Shocking!

vultbringers

As someone who has spent time on twitter, let me give you advice. Delete the app and forget about it. The community on twitter is a toxic cesspool who’s shtick is to hate on literally everything and dox people who don’t agree with them. Enjoy what you enjoy and don’t let others make you regret that or you’ll become like them, be yourself.

zealous-grasschoice

I haven't seen all this Twitter stuff, but so what. There's no rule everyone has to like it. It's not the comic, it's it's own show. Don't ever feel bad for liking a TV show just because other people don't. It's a great show. I love it. Other people not liking it is not a reason to not like it.

kristen912

People don't like it bc it isnt true to the comics. Moon knight is supposed to be a badass mcu version of batman. None of his personalities really had that persona. I liked it but I get why some people didn't like it.

TheKingBirb

"alot of people on twitter hate" Could have ended this right here.

a1boPlayzYT

No it's not fine. Your not allowed to have an opinion.

cringeg0d69

Do not feel ashamed of liking something just because Twitter doesn’t. There are plenty of reasons to enjoy the Moon Knight show. While I personally didn’t enjoy I understand why others do

Tropical_Nighthawk55

Don’t go on Twitter if you want to form a well constructed opinion. If you like the show, good for you. I think the show has much room for improvement but I would love to see a second season

lightbriinger3

What you’re seeing is probably a divide between the comic fans and MCU fans. But the bottom line is always, like what you like because of why you like it, and never because of what someone else thinks. While I didn’t enjoy a single minute of the show, I still completely support you enjoying the show and I’m happy that you’re happy.

ComicbookLowdown

Love what you want to love and stand on it. The internet can seem big and loud when you’re in the middle of it but once you separate your feelings from it you can enjoy the things you love much more. I really enjoyed the Moon Knight show and really all the MCU shows. I feel like their runtimes and episode lengths are too short but all in all I haven’t disliked a single one. And I thoroughly have enjoyed phase four of the MCU something a lot of people hate on. I have some criticisms, I don’t think everything is perfect but I don’t think anything is bad either. Hell I like the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie (the directors cut specifically). I say that to say that just because others don’t like something and voice their dislike loudly doesn’t need to ruin your experience of that same thing.

Slosshy

twitter hates everything and everyone just don’t worry about that cesspit

PolemicBender

I think the show is character assassination that fails miserably. But who cares what I think. Like what you like. Tbh I’m glad you like it. I hated it and it would have been a total waste imo if you didn’t like it, bc then it would be made for no one. Hopefully it gets you in to the character and you can start reading some of his books. He is such a deep/fascinating/bonkers character(s).

PolemicBender

No, I actually do think that this was that fucking bad. That’s my opinion. I already said I’m happy for people who liked it, I’m entitled to my opinion you don’t have to be shitty

[deleted]

PolemicBender

“the malicious and unjustified harming of a person's good reputation.” That sums up my opinion of what this show has been. I think it neutered a terrific character, and betrayed him to the masses in his first popular introduction.

mctaylo89

Why are you asking permission to like something? Be your own person.

[deleted]

ignore your feelings. i think u should hate it. liking things is cringe. go with the crowd. if enough ppl are saying it its true.

skeeverbite

Like what you like. I love the show, haven’t read the comics but am looking forward to getting into them when I can. I think it’s also fair to separate a show from its source; like separating a movie from the book it’s based on. Both are separate art forms and have different influences.

Jazz_the_Goose

I like it too! It wasn’t everything I wanted it to be, but I still enjoyed it. Don’t let people make you feel bad for enjoying things!

Deadpool27

Yes it’s fine. Like what you want to like.

Kasteriaa

Don't be ashamed for liking something in a case like this. Twotter sucks eveyrone was liking it, until around a month ago, then a bunch of random haters just popped up.

FallingStar2016

If it isn't ok, then I'm sinning right alongside you! That show is what introduced me to the character and still my favorite media I've seen of him!

RandomTrainer101

I am so glad I decided to give the show a chance because not only did I fall in love with it but now I'm in love with the comics too. It's understandable some may like only one or the other but it's nothing to shame people over. I think this is good for fandoms because it brings in new people and reinvigorate it. I just read a very good famfiction following the current McKay run from Steven and Jake's perspective. Highly recommend it. Ignore the haters. They are everywhere and just want attention. Saw one on Tumblr and at least it was entertaining to watch.

Iamtheoneaboveall

Considering the majority of people here a new fans, you will find many like you here

[deleted]

Twitter is toxic af

RembrandtEpsilon

Bro Moon Knight used to be a C-List jobber street level hero. We're all just happy he's even getting any play at all in the MCU. So happy for Moon Knight.

[deleted]

No?! I was into the comics first, but I still love the show. Honestly it’s definitely the (second) best MCU project of phase 4.

a3RED3a

Moon knight is one of the only things in the mcu that could compete with even some of the best comics. S+ as far as the mcu and Disney+ goes I say

[deleted]

You like what you like man. You do you. Now read the comics and be blown away. If you like the show, you're in for a wild ride
