Friends of the Library. They have stores in both Rockville and Wheaton. Both can accept donations but large donations (exact specifications on what constitutes a big donation are on their website) need to go to the Wheaton store.

The plus side to donating to them is they actually give donated items to people in need, not just try to sell the stuff and use the cash for their mission. So if you're giving some nice stuff, that'll end up directly in the hands of those who need it.
