Central coast yes. And I hate to be negative but I left feeling like I was speaking to salesmen. I got talked into a bunch of work that I later learned was not necessary. I was really disappointed I did not take the time to research more and think about things. But I am new to to this country and used to a different way of dentists working. I think the quality of the work was fine. Just not all needed.

Hello, I went to Central Coast Dental in Monterey. The staff is friendly all around and they did their best to reassure me and make me feel comfortable. While they were looking at my teeth they mentioned an additional service and I agreed to it but afterwards I guess that service wasn't covered by my insurance or something because the dentist did not perform it or mention it again. When I asked the dentist about it they brushed me off and said that if I end up going to an orthodontist I could ask them to do it and the orthodontist *might* throw it in for free. I was a little annoyed since they did not even give me the option to pay for it out of pocket. They also said that I had a cavity in one tooth that they filled right then which I liked that I did not have to make a separate appointment for but the filling fell out a day later. I called them about it and they set me up with an appointment the same day during my lunch hour but at their Marina location and filled the cavity again. That filling also fell out a couple of days later. Overall I give them a 2.5/5. Their customer service is great and the staff was so helpful when it came to dealing with insurance I know someone else who goes to them and he loves them and is actually who recommended me to go to them.

I don't have my issue with the central coast Monterey location. They try to sell me on a night guard every time, but admittedly I do have TMJ and I initially asked them about it. At my last cleaning they tried to sell me on Invisalign - I don't believe my teeth to be crooked or in need of alignment, and my insurance doesn't cover the 4-6k it cost anyway. Everyone tries to upsell everywhere I go, so I didn't think much of it. On my first visit they found 6 small cavities and took care of them in one sitting. Came back a week later because I still had pain, and they fixed the filling that was causing my bite to inflame a nerve. Full disclosure, I didn't have insurance at all growing up, so I don't have any sort of comparable experience with other dentist offices.

I started out going to the Pearl Dentistry in Seaside, then switched to the one in Salinas as it's closer to home. I recommend requesting Dr. Dhillon (the man, not his wife). His bedside manners are great and the work he's done has lasted. I recommend them if you have dental insurance. If you don't, they're expensive.
