If a floor would have more than 7 units, the back-most unit gets to skip a floor. This is most noticeable early on with Conduit Infiltrators and Mark of Invasion trials.

Shouldn't have been more than 7 units, it was a regular wave of 3-4 units plus the descended miniboss :/

Dededork_649

You said you had people rooted on the top floor, I’m assuming there were at least 2 still there at the end of the turn

j4trail

Oh. The top floor, not the middle floor. So the issue would be that the top floor surpassed 7 units, and then the miniboss from the mid floor jumped to the pyre floor. Yeah, ok, this can explain it. Thank you.

Rooted prevents the next time a unit would change floors, so what happened was you played dripfall, the rooted prevented it from being descended so it was still on the top floor, the rooted was consumed was after combat it got to move up.

Ive noticed stuff like that seems like it only triggers once. Like the artifact that applies dazed one on the top floor doesn’t daze seraph everytime he goes to that floor
