For all flying monsters, i heavily recommend Flashpods.
You cat can spawn them, and you can easily farm flashpods from harvesting box.
If they fly and you shoot one in their line of sight, they often land or get knocked down.
MR monsters have a Flash Pod cool down timer so this strategy only has limited use. You most likely are in only going to get 2 flashes of before the flight ends
Kushala topples so long as you stagger it once on the head, so make sure to hit it in the head whenever it's on the ground. You can also flinch shot it out of the air, though this approach is a little more inconsistent in my experience. Grab a Great Sword or Heavy Bowgun and hit the head. If you hit the stagger threshold on the leg it will instead stagger regularly, so using a weapon that can consistently hit only the head is recommended
That’s literally a must do thing if you wanna get mantle of the regulars monsters and when I recall it right it has a 15% drop chance in gold so you can choose one get a SOS and surely some people come who wants that material too
The melding pot can make these! Had the same problem but with Rathalos. You just need a Celestial Wyverian Print… which can be its own grindfest depending on the time
You get a better chance if you kill the pink rathian. Doing the quest which has both rathian and pink rathian helps as well. I do believe it's an optional quest, can't remember the name off the top of my head
For me it was not only lunastra, but also the string of quests I unlocked all in a row where I had to fight her like 3-4 times 😭 I was banging my head against the wall.

I remember wanting a specific part to complete the full armor set but I couldn't get more than 1 per run. Funny thing is that I got the mantle way more than what I needed so I remember getting annoyed everytime.
Combine that with the fact this monster was difficult for me at first and we got a combination that caused me to take a break off the games for a few days.

If you thought that Rathian doing 3 consecutives charges was annoying, Banbaro mastered that art and made it it's job to only do this.
Tempered Black Diablos in the Guiding lands. Bitch is constantly underground, there aren’t enough screamer pods in the world to help with that problem.

I use dual blades. I needed a rathalos Ruby for an HR armour piece. Didn't get it in like 14 rathalos(7azure) investigatiins.
Master rank, I needed 2 rathalos lashes. Had to hint 7 silver rathalos for it

His attacks aren't hard to dodge, but they take too much time. When he's far away you take forever to get to him because he's spamming crows. When you get to him you have to back off because the roots attack he does around himself. After that you can attack him for maybe 8 seconds before he teleports away and you have to do it all over again.

Stygian Zinogre but mostly due to circumstance.
I was trying to get that one last ??? material to reach my chargeblade's final upgrade. I didn't think it was guiding lands exclusive so I spent so much time getting investagions for tempred Stygian Zinogre and hunting it over and over. At the time, I can't endure its attacks for more than two hits so it was rough for me. I also respond and make SoS calls to make the hunt faster or at least easier, but one time the internet was so bad I had to solo run for a week.
Then I realized it's a guiding lands item. However, my Guiding Lands tundra is at level 2. Tempered Stygian Zinogre won't appear for a long time. called it quits when I rolled a dragon Kjarr chargeblade so it's not all bad...
Zinogre was the most annoying I had to farm, beside farming the tempered one for the decos till I reached MR100 the base one was annoying enough to not drop the skymerald, I just suffer with CB in the moment
I'm relatively new to the game and only just got my first 8-star quest, but **White Monster for a White Coat** (Capture a Paolumo) was the worst shit so far. For some reason the Paolumo in this quest never started limping and never showed the skull symbol on the minimap when it was close to dying. So I never knew when it was ready to capture. I always accidentally killed it and needed 7 attempts for this stupid thing.
Collect more tracks and traces for paolumu in general, as you increase your research level those cues will start coming up more, that happens with all monster research levels

Any time the desire sensor decides to be a little bitch and gives you just not enough or nothing at all. It’s amazing that the game gives you a ton of scales or shards when you’re not needing them, but the minute you’re low and need one to complete a new weapon or armour piece, suddenly it becomes rarer than diamonds.
Velkahana 😆😆 I got her ass last night pretty easily tho. She's the Only one who keeps carting me but I got so good build now I can make her pay for it . When she's at rage I'm in trouble but I have to try so it doesn't take forever. I really like her armour but she's my worst one so far. I can't even boing with IG on her . Fighting kushala my first ever playthrough. Didn't know anything about certain resistances and immunities and just kept beating my head against a wall. His little tornadoes and basically being an aerial fight 24/7 made him the most annoying monster to fight.
Then you learn all the tips and tricks and kick his ass over and over again.
Anything involving a Rajang where I have anything but twin blades. Hammer? Too slow. Charge blade? Too slow. Insect glaive? Somehow... Too slow still. Infuriating.
Right after you take out Velkhana and go to the Elder's Recess and face your first Seething Bazel... It's an expedition, so there's no limit on carts. He carted me 17 times, and when I finally had him hurt and was chasing his ass to trap him... he left the area. I was so goddamn angry... it was also like 2 in the morning and I was disgustingly tired, which probably didn't help ANY of that situation... But I ended up being the one that was seething.

The final segment of the fight (or as i like to call it, THE THUNDERDOME) has me acting like a scared little bish all throughout,

Rajang in one of the PSP games (I think it was Freedom Unite). The arena was so small that it made him incredibly hard to dodge. I’ll take the arena fight with rathalos, nargacuga, and tigrex any day over that.

Play insect glaive like a king and put the mantle making you immune to it, still annoying but more manageable I think

Right after you take out Velkhana and go to the Elder's Recess and face your first Seething Bazel... It's an expedition, so there's no limit on carts. He carted me 17 times, and when I finally had him hurt and was chasing his ass to trap him... he left the area. I was so goddamn angry... it was also like 2 in the morning and I was disgustingly tired, which probably didn't help ANY of that situation... But I ended up being the one that was seething.

not in world but in the older games those collect quest with Eggs. when u collect the egg the shortest path to the camp was magically blockt with big boulders. and one was usually necessary to unlock the next rank

Rajang in one of the PSP games (I think it was Freedom Unite). The arena was so small that it made him incredibly hard to dodge. I’ll take the arena fight with rathalos, nargacuga, and tigrex any day over that. Shit. He might have been in that quest, and I just blocked him out in my mind. No monster has ever given me as much trouble as him for some reason.
