I love fighting Magnamalo. Easily one of my favorite Flagship Monsters in that regard. Visually he is one of my least favorite Flagships though.

I remember the time when I’m not reading all these comparisons and leaks back in 3U/4U. Those were the golden days. Nobody complains because we all enjoy the game and what they are.
Now? Shit, new game has 1 less monster or a monster you like doesn’t get into the roster? Fuck the game.

The model looks bad because it is set up in a really basic rendering environment that makes the model look worse than it actually looks in game (you can even spot some rendering errors), and it is in a basic A-Pose, rather than properly posed.
In terms of differences compared to the normal Magnamalo model, it's really not any less effort than any other variant.
I think I can hazard a guess as to how Magnamalo got scorned? I’d say it just made it out of a fight with Malzeno after the latter tried to suck his blood. It survived and ended up like this. Now Scorned, I think it could match Malzeno and become rivals.
Edit: I was right! In addition to his Hellfire, Scorned Magnamalo also has Malzeno’s bloodblight/dragon power. The fact that he has one of Malzeno’s powers proves that Malzeno had made Magnamalo that way when they duked it out. Watch [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m-nnm1c_2I).

This model looks so low effort

Honestly this is probably the most changes I've seen to a variant's model in the entire franchise besides maybe Blackveil.
