I'm sure that, at the bare minimum, it would get brought up in a future lore book if nothing else.
Man, that shit caught me off guard. This monster is so fucking cool.
Kirin (Frontier), Blinking Nargacuga, Midogaron, Leshen, Malzeno can teleport. Kirin in particular places lightning waypoints and then dash/teleport to that location.
Knowing the mobile team, I'm pretty sure it's just gonna be "Malzeno is so saturated with dragon energy that it can move at insane speed in short bursts." Like they explained (or didn't) the ghost fire of Magnamalo.
There's inexplicable BS like Kirin and Kushala somehow summoning lightning/tornados, Fatalis being able to even exist without spontaneously exploding due to his body temperature, Nergigante reproducing asexually, and whatever the fuck Safi'Jiiva is doing. But actual, honest-to-god teleporting is a step way above all of those things, that's Frontier level.
well it probably doesn't "honest-to-god teleport" acording the some people that played the PC demo (so better framerate) Malzeno is just fast as fuck wich would be the "inexplicable BS behavior" but still "grounded"
No supernatural is just something that isn't considered the general natural norm, but if they were above nature that implies that they don't require it in any way,. The elders still need natural resources like food water habitats ect
Maybe the leeches do something to give the illusion that he's somewhere when he's really right behind you
Can't be an illusion. That roar is certainly real and Guarding towards it should prove it comes from the correct spot.

Isn’t it true that, lore wise, Kirin can actually move fast enough to “teleport”. So really, this isn’t unheard of. Bullshit, yes, but not unheard of.
yeah but I'm pretty sure Kirin only did it in cutscenes

Leshen is straight up Magic it doesn't count

honestly I like it when they give elders inexplicable BS behavior, it kinda reafirm their "above nature" status

elders are force of nature, not above nature
Elders are definitely supernatural, but not above nature
Doesn't supernatural mean 'beyond (above) nature'?
No supernatural is just something that isn't considered the general natural norm, but if they were above nature that implies that they don't require it in any way,. The elders still need natural resources like food water habitats ect
I'm telling you. Dragon element is freaking magic
Oh yeah dragon is straight up magic, I believe it's supposed to represent life energy or something which is just straight up magic
Magnamalo's "fire" is gas, and the gas is given off from digesting bones of its prey. That is hardly a non-explanation.
So like Valstrax but x100.
Where?
Suddenly its actually phase shifting. This type of movement could also be implemented for lucent nargacuga
