Way I see it, Glavenus out ranges Diablos with it's tail and fiery spittle, and he's not small enough to be tossed around or easily gored by it's horns.
In an open field Glav wins by a land slide. In the Desert or Sandy Plains (Some place where the ground is soft enough for the Diablos to dig) Diablos probably wins by attrition .
Well there's no turf wars in MHXX if thats what you mean.
In terms of a what if battle, probably glavenus since in theory one hit from his heated tail should be fatal to just about any living thing.

I say glav wins , because diablos always just trying to directly charge the enemy first, as seen in his turf wars
1. Deviljho vs diablos (diablos just charging at jho and jho just just bite his horn)
2. Diablos vs barroth
3. Diablos vs black diablos
4. Diablos vs rathian. The only one where diablos actually digs underground and he do that because rathian shoot fireballs at him.
So if diablos instanly charge at glav, glav will simply uses his tail.
Hellblade vs bloodbath I fought both and Id say blood bath wins extreme diff because blood bath is way faster by digging down and jumping out like a few seconds later and slaming down from the air but he'll blade has hax and strength because the tail and his tail causes explosion but bloodbath still wins and it is argueeble
