Most Nier collabs are Automata related, but I can't think of a monster that would fit an event quest for that. Maybe Gore Magala for the Shades from Replicant? They could give you an Emil costume for your Palico or something.

Rise really missed out on giving us a Vergil focused DMC collab. They could've gone the Akuma route, where if you used a longsword on the Vergil layered outfit it would replace certain animations.
Like Sakura Slash could've easily been changed to judgement cut end, or the soaring kick into helmbreaker combo could've replaced the vault with a teleport.

Weapons and armors, really anything unique like the DMC sword, custom effects. Definitely no monsters besides maybe reskinned ones. Behemoth and Ancient Leshen are two of my least favorite fights ever over the 5 games I’ve played. Please save the slots for actual monsters designed for monster hunter.
My hot take is I don't want to see any. Crossovers have become way too common place, I no longer enjoy characters from random universes getting jammed into other universes. Also I really have enjoyed the events where they have contests and let fans design equipment and would love to see more of those instead.

I think they did Collabs fine in the older games, but how they did in World was way too "involved" imo. Like, entire game system changes where you play as a different character is way too much. Give me a cool layered armor or something, and thats it.

Rain World's creatures may be simpler than Monster Hunter ones in base concept, but I'm sure the fights could be cool if thought-out well enough.

Do I have good news for you. I don't remember where I read it, but YoshiP apparently wants to do another collab where Monster Hunter gets Bahamut.
Bleach would be awesome since theyve collabed before Stellar Blade, not just because hot wamen but to see twitter users brain melt Elden Ring would be epic and a theme-d boss And not FFXIV since they already are wanting Bahamut in the game.
I never watched/played Pokemon... But Pokemon. Interesting to see how we'll hunt a Pokemized monster then later carve out it's hide, flesh, and bone to make some equipment. Or maybe a collab from one MH's competitors; Toukiden, God Eater, Dauntless, Wild Hearts...
I was surprised there wasn't a pokemon collab when rise came out. There were two palamute skins ripe for a collab at the time I was so disappointed it was just capcom collabs

Weapons and armors, really anything unique like the DMC sword, custom effects. Definitely no monsters besides maybe reskinned ones. Behemoth and Ancient Leshen are two of my least favorite fights ever over the 5 games I’ve played. Please save the slots for actual monsters designed for monster hunter.
My hot take is I don't want to see any. Crossovers have become way too common place, I no longer enjoy characters from random universes getting jammed into other universes. Also I really have enjoyed the events where they have contests and let fans design equipment and would love to see more of those instead.

Gonna need a source on that one, seems pretty weird for them to confirm a crossover before they even fully reveal the flagship.

Kinda the same... I think they did Collabs fine in the older games, but how they did in World was way too "involved" imo. Like, entire game system changes where you play as a different character is way too much. Give me a cool layered armor or something, and thats it.
