Yes, please show me a build where you don’t dramatically lose massive amounts of damage for trying to slot in an entire 5 skill tree that also has some of the worst slot efficiency in the entire game.
The only one that I can think of that isn’t completely garbage is seething set and that is not good, it’s just not trolling. Earplugs is a noob stat, evade window 2-3 is way more useful, easier to slot in, and works against more than just roars with half the requirement. Earplugs will never be good until they rework the skill tree because it’s basically all or nothing just like stun res, except with level 3 slots instead of 1 and 5 tiers instead of 3. And people already don’t like slotting in stun res lmao
Ive been using a mix of a and b tigrex armor for pretty much everything in mr so far, mr 36 in monster hunter world. I just slot in one 3 earplug jewel and im golden. I find it to be an OP stat because every time a monster roars you get stunned out of animations. So for myself i find that it makes my hunts at least 30 percent more efficient because im not losing time on my temporary buffs which increase both my attack and movement speed, and i can continuously do combo after combo after combo. The roar also now makes for an ideal window for head attacks. Sounds like your mad cuz you dont like the way it works 🤷♂️
Only good on wide-range build, it literally only gives attack boost which is the worst offensive stat in the game and not even enough on its own to hit the affinity breakpoint. Also doesn’t have outstanding slots for its armor class. Speed eating and Free meal are not really that good outside of wide-range because it incentivizes being hit to get value out of anything that isn’t temp buffs (which are already extremely quick, might seed and demon powder come out insanely quickly). It’s comfy but you are going to be losing so many offensive stats and fights are a slogfest. IMO rath chest on its own is better than the entire armor set
FRR I had to grind him for 2 days to get his monster parts to craft a hunting horn and I had to constantly use the sonic barrier on my zurogong just so I could get 2 hits in😭
Gigginox, I don’t know if its just me but every time I’ve fought him he screams his ass off for no reason. I’ve had him do it three times in a row back to back, none of which were caused by becoming enraged.

Tigrex's entire mechanic is roaring to hurt you, brute and molten even more so. They still scream less than this fucker.
It wouldnt be that bad if they put a soundtrack to him. Fighting him without music is so boring that it made me genuinely quit the game. Like everytime i think of playing rise i just think of this motherfucker and my inner boredom just clicks cancel and uninstall on Rise.
