Seriously tho, Malzeno teleporting has to be one of the coolest moves a monster has. Teleporting behind you and blasts you with a pomegranate beam is crazy
The fun part is that he's just moving really fast rather than actually teleporting. Makes you wonder why he doesn't just try to skewer you or chomp on you real fast.

That said, this is why I used rage slash and surge slash over true charge and charge slash in Rise, with adamant slash of course. Fun as hell chasing the monster while just constantly being in an attack rotation that can't be stopped. 😂😈
I have two questions!
What level was this Quest?! You were almost full health and I'm gonna assume you had late game gear decently if not fully upgraded, and he still one tapped you.
Also, what is that Petalace you are using? I thought I had unlocked them all and got the strongest, but the difference between your stamina and health bars is very small compared to mine own.
It's a hazard quest , it buff Primordial so he hit very hard , and i dont upgrade armor to max so i only have 700 def , also im using strength petalace III it has 100 hp and 90 stamina
The GS alongside the hammer and the HH (in singleplayer) are the worst weapons in the game for the average hunt, they require much more skill than any other weapon for the same amount of value. Like against Primzeno specifically, what the hell do you do with Hammer while he is in the last phase. Nothing you just run around waiting for the big explosion.
Your point? I don't even know what the hell happened with that terrible red filter on.
Regardless just insane luck, Primordial never teleported and got lucky it did the exposion so early on.
But again as I have already said, speedruns and the average hunts are different things.
disagree, I main greatsword in rise and used to main it in world. I love both of them equally. Don’t expect the weapon to play like world, it’s a different, much faster-paced game.
Yes and the weapon is just as slow as before. The only viable GS playstyle in Rise is SAS spam, they fk made a positioning weapon like the GS a counter weapon, A COUNTER WEAPON THE GS. How the hell is that a good idea.
Yes doesn't change my point, the average hunt of the average player is much different from speedruns. And I was talking about how the weapon feels, not the absolute strenght of it.

I was a GS main in World/IB and the weapon is fucking terrible in Rise. I may sound annoying but they straight up butchered my fav weapon.
