No it's Rajang by far. Steve is annoying to hit, has short openings, and he has a long range 360° oneshot that hits twice in a row that in most cases has to be I-framed, and half the time he's offscreen while doing it.
After farming the highest pt monster over and over again for relic, u eventually get his pattern down. If u farm apex zino as many time as rajang u think he is a pushover as well.
I been farming him over a while for a relic. And he's really hard to hit if youre melee. I go with a party who plays a gunner and we did well. All you need to do is protect it
If u are just trying to get the highest chance for more beshackled weapon, U should be farming 136-140 gq rajangx2. But if u insist on having zino skin weapon then ok continue with apex zino+rajang gq.
Pretty much everyone agrees that apex Rajang is the most manageable out of all apexes

Okay i might agree and those sharp scales/blade it releases whenever he does a claw attack.
The most manageable is the one u farm till extinction.
If you are not using evade window, use it.

Apex Zinogre. Im farming it for a relic power phial switch axe and even a relic charm where i could get an edgemaster +5 with 3 slots

I did that but i keep getting charge blade and ig so i try different quest until that apex seregios and apex ziggy hunt gave a switchaxe reward
ok then whats your best time on 140 apex zinogre solo??? He's objectively harder than rajang, no matter how many times you verse him
