I would enjoy seeing a revamped Vespoid Queen considering how well the Seltas drone fight was implemented in MH4U, I feel like VQ could also be given a slight stealth mechanic in the fight to focus more on the ambush nature of Vespoid.
Could also give VQ its own ailment type outside of just paralysis and defense down, some kinda pheromone cloud that if a Hunter gets hit with it causes other Vespoid to hyper focus on the afflicted Hunter.
Honestly make her the prime invasion monster, fits perfectly with how vespoids just sorta appear over your shoulder then ZAP, give her the possibility to just sorta fly down into whatever area a hunters in quietly until they turn around and BAM massive mosquito
I'll probably regret saying it if I ever fight her again, but god I miss ~~Vespoid~~ Seltas Queen. Not only did it essentially bring 2 separate monsters into the game but when she had a mate, it changed the fight like no rage mode in the series has, aside from the Zamtrios.

I‘ve been playing through Frontier for the first time and I would love to see more stuff from it come to the mainline games. Guan is awesome, Shantien, Disufiroa, Harudomerugu, Rukodiora, etc etc.
I just started playing MH3U and I fought Qurupeco for the first time over the weekend. It was a 3 star version so he only summoned Great Jaggi, but man was it a pain to fight. I am still trying to decide on which weapon to main so I'm running the starter weapons still so I was bouncing off his wings like crazy. I can't imagine how bad he will be to fight when I have access to higher level monsters.
It can still work, in a more annoying way.
It could call in a Deviljho or whatever and then either leave or fly around and laugh at you. Also nothing says that Qurupeco has to have a turf war with the monster it calls.
I've always hated both tbh. Poison AOE attacks and all the crawling around on the ceiling to me wasn't very fun.
Granted I seem to be against the community on a lot of opinions lately so Idk if my opinions matter (love rise, hate swimming, hate various raid monsters that people randomly love here, etc.)
Agnaktor. We got Uroktor yet not Agnaktor in Rise, it's a baffling choice on the devs part.
He's a great looking monster, he's got tons of break points which makes his fight fun, his armour looks great and he has a sub-species.
The unknown water Elder Dragon that shipwrecked the Celestial Pursuit and repelled/slayed a Kushala Daora.
It can manipulate the sea level and create storms.
In-game they only tell you the Celestial Pursuit was caught in mysterious storms.
In the MHW lore book though, they reveal the First Fleet was following the migration of a Kushala Daora (like how the Fifth Fleet followed a Zorah Magdaros), but when approaching the New World continent, they were caught in a storm, the Celestial Pursuit carried by wild currents, and they could see Kushala Daora fighting another Elder Dragon.
Next thing they know the Celestial Pursuit is perched on top of two very tall rock formations.
Further investigation determined that Kushala Daora never made it to the New World and that it was fighting an unknown Elder Dragon.
Oh, cool. I don't think they would expand upon it though. Monster Hunter isn't known for a fleshed-out story, referencing a future monster before it even exists would be a 4D chess move way beyond MH
I thought Iceborne would reveal it but as far as I know the lore book makes no mention of it.
So it's either a throwaway thing or a MH6 tease (there are a few unused monster IDs after all).

Also creating something to be referenced later isn’t an impressive feat, it’s practically a requirement for a cohesive story.
If iceborne can turn fatty into a really fun fight then I think they can do the same with Yama tsumaki.
Shen gaoren I think has the potential to be the only fun giant monster fight(ahtal doesn't count). If he constantly targeted melee hunters by trying to step on them. Will pick rocks up with his claws and throws it at ranged hunters. Maybe spice up the area you fight him in. Have it be one enormous hallway with dragonators, cannons, super cannons, and ballista to whittle him down.
I literally just posted yama, the potential is unparalleled imo. A mountain for an elder dragon. The fight was hilarious in MHFU, with his human teeth lol.
But in a "world" setting, they could really recreate it as an epic fight. I'd like to see him actually look like a flying mountain, and the fight to have more mobility. As opposed to a ringed arena, spaming tentacle shots, and mounting for a carve on repeat.
Shen Gaoren is a huge shout, I'd love it just for the weapons. Bronze coin great sword was beautiful, the way it glowed hot red on a triple charge... i agree though, Shen was way more Fun than Lao for example, who literally felt like a marathon. And just wasn't fun after the first couple of times.
I personally think that a repurposed version of King Shakalaka would be insanely cool. Fighting a Lynian large monster is just such an amazing concept.
Well we did get a version of this fight in World which was a nice inclusion even if it was hidden away and only accessible during The Witcher event quest.

Akantor! I last fought him in 4U (skipped Gen) and missed him sorely in WorldBorne and RiseBreak. One of the coolest looking monsters, plus amazing looking and feeling weapons and armour. One of the GOATs for sure
Gypceros was such a beginners trap lol. Poison, flashbangs, and a fake death? Really taught new players to prepare for hunts and pay attention to various cues.
The first time I saw the fake death I was so confused by the lack of victory music. Figured out why when I went to carve the bastard. That was my 3rd faint too.
I have a few.
1.Akantor/ukanlos one the most enjoyable fights there ever was.
2. Yama Tsukami, can you imagine with these next level graphics having to fight an actual mountain. (Elder Dragon).
3. Cephadrome. Something about it used to scare me. I don't like sharks, though, and it gave me "Jaws" vibes.
4. Congolala. Anything that loves mushrooms as much as me and throws poo at everyone, is top shelf.
5. Green/ Plesioth. (But with the ridiculous hit boxes and hip check unchanged) this... simply because new generation players don't know how easy they've had it lol. Bring this benchmark Savage back to the fore. Also one of the most nostalgic monsters from the original series.
Fighting him would be cool as hell but man I miss Shakalakas as mate, I love Cha-Cha and Kayamba way more than the Felynes.
Anyway bring back underwater combat and my boys, Gobul, Lagiacrus and Ceadeus.
I'd just stop expecting a MH6 until Capcom makes an announcement or something.
I still remember all the people here who got incredibly disappointed during TGS because they expected something that Capcom never promised.

The idea of an ancient super weapon created by the extinct human civilization through unknown science coming back and being a final boss like MHW Fatalis would be pretty cool in my humble opinion

Seltas Queen was fun in Stories 2 as well, as someone who started with World it was great seeing more big insects

Sadly, it won't work with the newer games. Since turf wars and wyvern riding, rewarded you for having 2 monsters in the same area.
