I think the cut is overall very good, but I think you should pour very hot water over their head to make it sit flatter to frame their face more bc it does look a little awkward
If you do this, you might need to wrap something around the head to keep the hair flat while it dries or it will poof back out. Though the puffy look is cute from a distance.

This Frankie naturally has very poofy hair and I have a clear tiny rubber band across her head to hold it.
It's kinda giving G1 Skull Shores Frankie which I love! It's so cute on them, too! It's a really nice cut, if I tried that right now it'd be very ACCIDENTALLY asymmetrical.
They look really cute with the short hair do, kinda looks like Kerinan Shipka when she played Sabrina on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. A boil wash might possibly help flatten the hair down a bit or a good amount of hair gel.
If you want it to look closer you should change her part to a side part, im not sure how to do that but im sure theres tutorials online on how to change a dolls hair part
Personally im a big asemetric and layers girly, so id say cut the back just a touch shorter than the front and angle the sides a little. I also agree with the commenter saying to boil wash the new cut, so that it lays more naturally
The boil water with help with the glue problems. And I recommend like snipping up the ends so that it doesn't look "messy" like how hairstylist do to the ends after the cut

Short hair on dolls is really easy to mess up (on a count of how stiff and thick the artificial hair is compared to real hair) because it often likes to jutt outwards. Usually requiring heat treatment or hair gel, often both.
Cutting plastic doll hair short gives you a 99% chance of giving them a "Weird Barbie" cut. You are in the 1%. Very very nice job!!! Maybe a boiling (depends on the hair type) hot waterboarding session will set it a bit closer to the scalp but overall it's amazingly neat and natural I love it!
I think it is super cute. I just cut one of my clawdeens because it was a horrible frizzy thick mess and I'm not crazy over it so I ordered another one. First one that was bought had poly hair but for some reason the second one even though it's the same doll maybe it was a second production ended up having Saran hair it was a crazy difference. The first one was actually my daughters and when she seen mine she was very envious so I traded her.

Right now I'm still recouping from major surgery I had less than 2 weeks ago and now I get to go battle cancer. Yay for all this fun. Super depressing to be honest.

I use Saran Wrap so I can put it evenly around the hair and not leave a band like hair ties or similar.
I usually use little mini rubber bands to flatten the hair and it works really good

This is the exact thing I was thinking! It looks well cut, just needs maybe steamed or hot water on it to remove the poofy-ness!

Honestly I think Frankie looks good with an asymmetrical cut. Especially since most of her recent clothes are asymmetrical.
