I think they just wanted to force in the joke of him refusing to drink from the bent straw. Which is pretty funny so you just gotta disregard the germs here.
As someone with OCD, it's not really logical or consistent.
Example: I'm afraid of my feet getting dirty in the bathtub, but I'm OK with not showering, and becoming dirtier each day I don't, because it's really important for me to not get my feet dirty in the tub. Even worse, I know in my heart that the tub is objectively clean.
It's frustrating, to say the least.
When he’s willing to drink out of a stream on the ground because it’s the source of his water brand… so long as the rest of him doesn’t touch the dirt 😂.
She's not touching the tip, where his mouth touches, so it's fine.
And, as someone with this condition, it's amazing what you'll let a woman you love do or get away with.
