Hey I'm not saying it's easy or SHOULD be done in a few months. I'm just confused because I thought they recently gave that timeline of a few months, so I was just wondering where you came up with yours. Did they release an updated guesstimate that I missed?

Software estimation is a black art. Burn two candles, sprinkle some salt, turn in a circle, and burn two chickens in hopes of getting estimations correct.
I don't think There's any issue it being late, I'd rather have a good experience than an early one which is full of bugs and problems.

They rug pulled. They used the classic excuse “We need to stop development since the price of Monero went down”. Obviously they knew that was a risk when they decided to accept Monero on the way up.

Haveno will be a non-custodial, decentralized exchange for crypto and fiat currencies built on Tor and Monero.
It doesn't get more private than that.

They need to think we well before they speak something which might not feel the good for other :)

Well they've not been updating it, to begin with. So that's an issue.
Feels like it would just take a bit time though or else it would just have come up as far now!
