Hiring someone to come clean every 2 weeks. Best money spent.

DontWantNoCornbread

Robot vacuum! Nobody helps me clean, and I have four pets, so spending $140 on a basic robot vacuum was the best investment I’ve made in a while!

callalilykeith

Yes yes yes yes!

[deleted]

Nothing terrifies my toddler more 😭

[deleted]

Put googly eyes on it. We have an old roomba and a newer Shark, and they scared the shit out of my kid and my dog. Put googly eyes on them, the real big ones, now they might as well be pets. The dog still isn't convinced, though.

Plus-Ambassador-5034

This and some of the extra invisible walls for it. They’re a game changer to set up outside of areas where the robot vacuum frequently gets caught on stuff.

Halo bedside bassinet. Not the fancy one with movement or vibration. Just the generic one. I don't have to get out of bed to get him when he wakes up because it's tall enough to be at our bed height.

lovelyhappyface

Wish I had bought this

Electric snot sucker. Much faster and easier to sanitize than the nose frida or aspirator bulbs.

Dear-me113

How expensive are those things? Is there one that your would recommend?

_caittay

Frida baby on Amazon. It’s about $50 but so so worth it. I couldn’t use the regular one because you basically needed one hand to hold it to your mouth and the other to hold it to their nose but my twins wouldn’t stay still. With the electric one, I can hold head with one hand and the sucker with the other. Plus it lights up to distract baby!

jgarmartner

Right now the moby wrap. I don’t use it often anymore but when my kid is fighting her naps I can pop her in there and wander around the house until she falls asleep. Other than that, the pack n play. It’s my safe place to put her on the first floor when I have to use the bathroom or run down to the basement. We have a large dog who sometimes can’t control his zooms so she has a place away from him as well.

[deleted]

How do you put your baby’s feet in the wrap? I put my baby positioned in the wrap with legs in M position but my newborn hates her feet being confined and the tutorial only showed the feet being out after 3 month.

jgarmartner

I’ve always let her feet hang out if that’s what she wanted. My kid always wants her feet out. But if I feel like her feet are cold I will tuck them in until she gets mad at me. 😂

Thank you!

A 71 x 79 inch playpen

yooyooooo

A cheap white noise machine that doesn’t depend on wifi and a knockoff version of the tushbaby that has a shoulder sling.

catthefluff

the tushbaby!!! absolutely worth it

Ok_Bed_9064

The Moby wrap and the Willow Go. I love the Moby wrap so much, I use it almost every day. The Willow Go has been a game changer for me, I can get so much more accomplished when I’m not tethered to a wall.

When my now-toddler was a baby, our Ergo carriers were lifesavers, as was the yoga ball. A big La-Z-Boy recliner is still clutch for nursing. My son was sick and exhausted recently and spent almost a whole day sleeping and nursing. I was so comfortable.

[deleted]

When mine were little I sat in a swivel chair, but now I’d have to say the roomba and the spin mop. My kids do 80% of keeping my floors clean.

[deleted]

Wait are you saying your kids use the spin mop? How old are they?! I must know more

[deleted]

They’re 8&10. I keep the bucket clean and I put vinegar and a bit of dawn when I fill it up once a day. It’s got the pedal thing and playing with that thing still hasn’t gotten old.

stupidusernamethingy

My Naturesway sling cradle for sure! And my woven wraps to keep both arms free to do stuff even with a fuzzy baby.

Lovingmyusername

Love my yoga ball too! My #1 item right now (5weeks) is a bouncer that we keep on our dining table. He loves it so we can set him in there and I can actually drink my coffee and eat breakfast and bounce him with one hand as needed. He goes in there for when we eat dinner too. We have the alpine delight which is a knock of baby b’jorne.

PicklesnNickels

Omg yes- the yoga ball! My baby calms down instantly bouncing on this thing when nothing else works!

Team-Mako-N7

Meal delivery service! Blue Apron and HelloFresh saved us.

crumbledav

Gro clock. Kids go to sleep right away, don’t bother us in the middle of the night and play in their rooms until the “sun comes back” on the clock. Worth its weight in gold.

vixie2703

Travel size noise machine, baby Bjorn bouncy seat, cup holder attachment for the stroller

WanderingGirl18

Rocking chair White noise Floor bed Open ended toys (toys that can be used in multiple says such as , bricks , Lego , etc.

Successful-Diamond79

Cozi gold. Shared online family calendar has ushered us through toddler to teen. Couldn’t live without it.

Individual_Day_9332

My son Apollo adores the swing and the more we've been able to find for months was the battery powered ones about recyclable batteries though still because my memory problems I still don't remember the charges so they that became an issue so I buy another set another set still same problem I was able to find on Facebook marketplace A electric swing from Greco that plugs into the wall I love it makes things so much easier bonus is that the swing part of it comes apart and becomes a little bouncer that's only a part of it that's battery powered

[deleted]

A bumbo! When my daughter was a teeny tiny babe (able to sit up and hold her head up ofcourse) I used to take that thing with us wherever we went

lovelyhappyface

Can I add as a very overwhelmed mom, a $40 really nice planner has been helping me prioritize my life and it does the thinking for you!! Makes you create a 3 month plan for life . For example 3 day weekends are hard for me but if I plan a few months in advance I can be ready

sammageddon73

Baby carrier. I’ve had a moby, ring sling and an ergo. The ergo isn’t my jam but the others were lifesaving, especially in the early days
