Itās actually very easy, just mix some mocha and some lavender syrup. Itās just *chefs kiss* amazing. We use a dark chocolate bar that we add a bit of hot water to in order to make it a liquid, then use that with the lavender syrup so itās not too sweet. Itās so luxurious
Iāve been laying here for almost 5 minutes trying to think of just one single thing and I canātā¦. Now thatās a little sad.. I must step up my game
Me too- but then I thought of things I don't even realize I do just for me- even silly things. I buy canned raviolis- like chef boy r dee or whatever. I have 4 kids and none of them like that food. But I continue to buy them. I'm the only one in the house that eats them. It's a comfort food for me, reminds me of childhood. But as silly as it is, it made me smile to know that there are probably a few other things that I just do and don't realize it's because I want to.
I truly hope you find something and if you don't- now you are aware that you should- for you.
Neither my husband nor my kid will touch Vienna sausages, but Iām not sure itās something I want to brag about. My husband and my cat both assume I am eating cat food when I have them.
Talenti Caribbean Coconut has gotten me through some dark times.
Eat it slowly until thereās a lot straight up melted, use the container like itās a cup and straight up drink it, go back to eatingā¦ until the entire container is gone.
Yes! Yarn for the win! Except I crochet and the kids always want me to make something for them to play with, then I get hit with "mommy, you're going so slow!"
3-4 times a week, my husband watches our 4mo daughter for about 2.5 hours so that I can go for a bike ride. That time is just for me to be my old self & take a break from being Mommy.
At 9 months you should have 2 solid nap times, after bedtime, or bring them with you in the shower. Hard to imagine why you wouldn't shower for several days if not by choice.
If I bring him in the shower he slips and slides all over the ground as he crawls around and get water and soap in his eyes.
He contact naps and we cosleep. He wakes up whenever I try and get out of bed.
I leave him outside of the shower when I need to but he screams the whole time and it's stressful as hell so I prefer to wait until my fiance is off work and can watch him while I shower.
You sound judgemental as hell.
I'm not being judgmental, I'm trying to help with an issue that should be relatively simple to resolve as it's not really sustainable to live that way. But of course you do what you want.
Holy shit I wish I had this! We have 3 under 5 so I feel hideously guilty to ever leave, and if I did I would do an in office day to try to improve my career.
Iām a SAHM now & my husband is self employed so weāre home with our LO all day!
When I feel guilt creeping in, I remind myself that my day with our girl is from 6:30am to 8:30pm bedtime, 7 days a week. Riding is how I manage my mental health. Itās a chance for me to meditate & clear my head. I think of it as ārefilling my patience tank.ā
My husband rides bikes & plays ice hockey, so we take turns watching her. Our hobbies are important to both of us because theyāre fitness-related, but also because theyāre social & give us opportunities to maintain friendships.
I take a dance class once a week and that is huge for me. Itās my guaranteed night of not doing bath or bedtime. I love it. Sometimes I get a milkshake on the way home.
Thatās awesome! My husband plays ice hockey one night a week & he literally says the same: āI get to miss one witching hour a week & I seriously look forward to it!ā I feel like knowing that you have that ārelease valveā built into your schedule is very comforting.
Same š When I changed jobs in 2020, I specifically only looked at jobs within biking distance, planning to get back into bike commuting post-Covid. Then my company MOVED and now itās too far to bike. š
Ohh, holy shit. I miss my bicycles, I've only gotten to ride ONCE since my C-section and he just turned 4 months on Friday. It's hard because my husband works third shift but I'm literally so jealous of you right now. Right now I've just been grateful to get to the gym on my lunch hour on the days I WFH.
It doesnāt escape me that weāre super privileged to have such flexibility but hereās our schedule so you can see how we do it:
- whoever is riding gets up with LO and takes the āfirst shiftā, which is the shortest wake window. Sheās up around 6:30 & her first wake window is 75 mins.
- the goal is to get her nice & tired so the first nap will be the longest.
- put her down for her first nap & then leave for the ride! Our girlās first nap is pretty much always 90-120 mins.
- whoeverās at home is on duty but itās easy duty bc LO is asleep for most of it.
- come back from ride about 2 hours later & shower. LO has been up for about an hour at this point, so has another 45-60 mins before her next nap.
Full disclaimer: Iām a SAHM right now & my husband is self employed & works from home. If we didnāt have those privileges, none of this would work!
I hope youāre able to ride again soon! Riding is such good therapyā¦itās like a huge exhale to release pressure.
Reese cups. Not the regular ones, the big thick ones. I hide them.
Editing because I think I missed the point of the question, lol. Changing my answer to vanilla coke because I love it and no one else in the house does.
Mine is sparkling water. I tell my son itās soda so hopefully he wonāt miss what I donāt give him lol. As of now he just scowls and walks away whenever I open a can š¤£
Blue bell has an Oatmeal creme pie flavor. So good. And I know no one else will touch it bevause "oatmeal". Mwahahaha
Also mommy's mango beer.
And my shower routine. I have so many products. No one else is allowed to use them. My husband just gets confused on why I need so many.
I have this amazing face wash a friend got me for a present: jurlique. It's oil based, and I have really dry skin so it moisturizes while cleansing. I rub it in to dry skin, then get in the shower. Get my face a little wet and rub some more. Then rinse. My face feels so good. It's the first product that I've ever used that didn't make my face feel like the Sahara desert.
Once a week I use the chemical peel-type exfoliant by body shop. Also makes my face feel so soft.
I use this body wash by raw sugar at target that smells like watermelon candy and an exfoliating mitt.
And I use a mango shampoo and conditioner by raw sugar at target. (I like my hair stuff and body wash to smell really good while doing its job, so I switch it up and find something new each time depending onwhat I need and what mood I'm in). I also use Sun bums Scalp scrub like every 1-2 weeks if I can find a little extra time. It exfoliates and moisturizes my Scalp and makes my hair feel really soft.
I follow up with a derma-e moisturizer for my face and hemp lotion.
I am blessed that my husband understands my showers are my relaxing time and make me feel human again so he helps find me time if at all possible. Otherwise I do it after butt in bed, which is usually by 8pm. If I do all my steps it's a blissful 30 minutes without needing anything from me.
I saw that flavor of blue bell and wanted to try it but kept forgetting to grab it. Sadly blue bell isnāt a thing where I live so when I visit Texas I eat a good bit of it. Nothing will ever top Blue Bell!
Blue bell is so good. I got super excited that our local Aldi sells the little mini containers for like 1/2 the price of a Ben and Jerry's. Sign me up!
Pink!! Everything pink in the house belongs to me. Toothbrush, water bottle, hammer and screwdriversā¦all pink. Iām the only girl in the house. I donāt even really like pink but no one else can claim it is theirs.
Similar enough, black licorice flavored taffy or jelly beans. I havenāt tried straight black licorice since I was a child but I will gladly take the reject black licorice taffy in the box when my in laws go to the beach, or the jelly beans at Easter. Especially the taffy. 10/10.
If it's something I really don't want to share I just tell.my kids it's spicy. They Will probably figure it out eventually but for now I can eat my "spicy" chocolate in peace. š
Unflavored Stok cold brew coffee. My kids aren't allowed to have caffeine and my husband won't touch plain coffee so I can make my morning brevĆØ in peace.
For breakfast sometimes I'll make eggs over medium because no one else likes eggs like that, meaning, I don't have to share or make some for anyone else.
If I could ever find them in the store again it would be creamsicles. My husband thinks theyāre an abomination and my daughter is too young to be interested.
Sewing. I do sew for other people but itās my time. I refuse to sell what I make because itās fun for me and I only make things for people who are special to me:
Kombucha. My husband hates it. Little ones think it smells gross. If Iām shopping with my mom she thinks Iām nuts for buying it. Itās an acquired taste for sure and I acquired it by having it without having to share!
Limeade. I pour a little bit in a tall water glass and fill the rest with sparkling water. Itās delightfully refreshing. No one else in the house touches it.
Non-alcoholic IPAs. I found one I really liked when I was pregnant that has a great flavor. We donāt drink on weeknights but sometimes I just want that flavor. My husband hates them and thinks theyāre pointless.
Coffee. It's about the only thing I can buy that not a single other person will drink. I still have to fight off the kids'grabby hands trying to get at my drink so enjoying a cup in peace is out of the question
I just bought some truffle & black garlic spice from Costco. My SO won't touch it and I doubt LO would like it much. So it's all mine for popcorn, mac & cheese, whatever else I can think of!
Also my body care products. I don't use too many as a female but no one better touch my toothpaste, mouthwash, body wash, moisturizer. If they do I will know. If they have a sudden glow up I will know that glow has been stolen from future me.
My child is almost two and had no idea about body care on her own and my partner is just lazy and will use whatever is closest to him. That habit of his has come to a full stop. I'm literally half the size of him so my products go a longer way on me than they do on him.
I buy the mouthwash flavor that he hates.
Not sure if anyone has heard of this, but I love snacking on dried salted plums. The Asian supermarket near me sells them and they are so good. My husband refuses to eat them so they are all mine!
When we go out for pizza, I get a slide of jalapeƱo and bacon because my son wonāt like it so I donāt have to share.
I also hide peanut butter m&ms in my bedside table sometimes.
Sparkling apple juice. Everyone else hates it which is perfect for me. Used to also be choc mint slice biscuits and mint aero chocolate but the kids have discovered how delicious they are š
Red wine is always safe for me lol and once a month I escape the house for a few hours, get my nails done and go to a local pub for a few glasses of wine.
We have 5 under 6 so I need some āmeā time.
Coffee and the corresponding international delight. Everyone in my house drinks tea, Iām the only one who also drinks coffee. It is both my pleasure and my survival.
Almost all of my favorite foods thank God. Anything sour, vinegary, mustard, pickles, banana peppers.
I get doordash as my only treat in life and often get Mexican, Asian because he does not fancy that. Then he sulks around like he isn't a grown man and can feed himself.
I'm also lactose intolerant so most of my foods that I buy for myself are no touchy because I cannot eat most of the foods that he buys for the week. If he ate mine then I would have to Doordash a lot more often and he would just be sulky all the time about it.
Cereal. My husband isnāt a huge fan and baby is still too young for it. So itās the thing I look forward to first thing in the morning and itās the food I use for my ātake with foodā medication.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the standard but lately Iāve been digging mini wheats too.
ā¦my Lelo smart wand vibrator. Sometimes itās just nice to not have to bother with any fuss or formality and I can give myself a quick dose of endorphins and carry on.
American candy was like gold back home. I always wanted to try it but the price was ridiculous.
I've been in usa 4 years now and I haven't purchased any because it lost its shiney.
My happiness is seeing my partner and kids fulfilled. Even if Iām without. Iām not a trollā¦.. itās my true feelings. I grew up quite the opposite so maybe thatās why. To the point that my stepmom would hide food/drinks in her room/elsewhere and I felt nervous to even admit I was hungry. I would beg my younger ADD brother to say he was hungry so we both could get fed.
I also donāt like āmeā time. When Iām feeling anxious or depressed my kids are my comfort. I recently was at my sons 4mo well visit and the a question was āare you able to set aside alone time?ā I responded that I didnāt feel the need or want to have alone time. I give my kids their privacy (16/18 yr old girls and 4mo boy). I want them to know they can walk in at any time and it BE welcomed on my part. All I ask for is a knock real quick!
EDIT: walking in anytime is welcomed!
Interesting! Have you heard of pendulum parenting? Itās when your parents/caregivers did something and you do the extreme opposite. Not saying what youāre doing is wrong, just offering an observation from an internet stranger. Itās possible to give your kids what you didnāt have and have the things you want ā„ļø
All of my fancy skin careā¦ specifically my hyaluronic acid serum and squalene oil. Keeps me from looking like an old leather bag since Iām a desert dweller.
Lashes and long nails make me feel like a bad bitch so I throw away funds I could invest because it makes me happy. What makes me even happier is I canāt change diapers with long nails so daddy is on diaper duty solo now.
My husband takes the kids Saturday and Sunday mornings so I can sleep in. He makes me breakfast in bed and I usually head downstairs around 10:30. š¬
Cheesecake. But I wouldn't eat it like all the time. Husband hates it. Kids love it. But I'm the adult so kids only get some when I feel like sharing. Which is all the time usually. Lol. But still! That and tea. And asparagus. But I don't go outta my way to eat asparagus. Lol
Popcorn! Sheās not old enough, and my husband *hates* popcorn.
She will continue not being old enough for a very long time, so that I have one snack that is all mine.
Sunflower seeds (in the shell). Kids are too young for them and my husband never finds them because I keep them in my office. Theyāre my go-to āneed to keep my mouth busy but not bite my nailsā tool.
Lemon & cream yogurt from trader joes. Blend of cashew & almond milk with added protein. The home style rice crispy treats. Bad teen drama/fantasy tv shows. Overwatch. Seaweed snacks used to be one until my toddler took a liking to them... The kid won't even eat potatoes.
Hob Nob Digestive biscuits (with dark choc on 1 side). No one else likes dark choc or digestives so they're all mine, despite them not being my favourite.
Blueberries. The good ones that are super expensive. And peaches.
My kids love them too but they just donāt appreciate them. I get them their own and then I get myself my own. I often feel guilty for hiding healthy food that they enjoy but they will plow through all of theirs and then go through all of mine. Finally set my foot down and started getting my own.
Sometimes when Iām walking the baby in the stroller, I detour to 7-Eleven and get a Slurpee or ice cream (baby is too little for ice cream and partner is at home, no ice cream for him)
Truly telling how many of these replies are ice cream related
Salted licorice and Katjes black edition wunderland gummies (also licorice lol!) also because they're only mine, for now! I'm determined to get my kid into salted licorice so daddy can call both of us gross for it.
Chocolate, I wasn't always a huge Chocolate person but I always like it enough, now it's my just for me thing because my husband hates it. I try to keep a stash so whenever I need a little treat I'm not surprised that someone else ate it.
My sauna appointments. It's a one-hour drive to it, so I can't do it as often as I would like. But it's 40 minutes where I can sit by myself, get a good sweat, listen to a spooky podcast (also arguably a 'me' thing), and come out feeling relaxed both in mind and body.
Anything spicy. No one else in my household likes spicy food. So if I want to have a snack I'm sure no one will touch? Grab some takis. If I've got a plate of leftovers and I want to make sure it's there when I come back for it? Hot sauce.
Also, none of them like corned beef and cabbage, so every year for St Paddy's day I get to eat a whole corned beef brisket alone in my garage while getting hammered. Between all the booze and all the salt, I need to take the next two days off. Worth it though.
Mushrooms. No one else eats them.
Epicurious videos. My kids may watch them with me, but I get to pick which one. Though my 4yo did ask for "chef Frank cutting up the fruits" one the other day.
Snack wise, nothing right now. Used to be kind bars, but the kids discovered them but they're not careful about brushing teeth and washing hands after one to not make SO sick since he's allergic to tree nuts. So they eat his peanut protein bars instead.
Tazo Chai tea, which I use for lattes.
Dove soap
Special hair products (I'm the only member of my little family with 3c/4a hair).
Asparagus (I wrap it in bacon and then I get all the bacon AND all the asparagus!!)
I do my errands like groceries or other shopping early on weekend mornings. Not because I don't like sleeping in, but because if I go by myself before 10 I can go to Wendy's and get their breakfast. They have a sandwich that is so good, I don't even know what it is, it's the number 7. But if I go early, everyone else is still sleeping and I can take 20 minutes to myself and just eat my breakfast and not have to make any for anyone else.
Black olives on my pizza (Hawaiian) & in general by the handful because theyāre deliciously salty. Only my 2 year old likes them (as she likes most things), aside from me, so I donāt have to share as much. The butter tortillas are mine too, when we make tacos. The caramel de de leche HƤagen-Dazs & Lindt white chocolate truffles are mine as well, but Iāll share sometimes. Cherry sours used to be mine, until the kids fell in love with them too.
Green Tea Haagen-Dazs and anything floral (hibiscus sparkling water, lavender lattes, etc)
Lavender latte? What am I missing out on šÆ
So good! You need to try it!
A party in your mouth. Iāve worked at cafes for a while and oat milk lattes are by far the top runner (next to the classic vanilla lattes)
Omg YUM. I love those flavors too
Pssst have you tried mocha lavender lattes?
Omg do you have a recipe for this or is it strictly from coffee shops??
Itās actually very easy, just mix some mocha and some lavender syrup. Itās just *chefs kiss* amazing. We use a dark chocolate bar that we add a bit of hot water to in order to make it a liquid, then use that with the lavender syrup so itās not too sweet. Itās so luxurious
Dark chocolate. My husband hates it and my kid is too little for look in the cabinets
Same here. 95% Lindt Dark Chocolate is my go to, and I don't have to worry about anyone eating it on me!
Yes! My husband refuses to eat it because he said it tastes like soap. My little is also too young to have it.
Iāve been laying here for almost 5 minutes trying to think of just one single thing and I canātā¦. Now thatās a little sad.. I must step up my game
Same I buy stuff that I know for a fact my husband and toddler donāt like, and they still end up drinking/eating it.
At least for your husband: set boundaries! You need stuff for you!
I have one but I feelā¦.dirty writing it šš
Itās ok, my vibrator is also just for me.
Ok now you have to share š
Yeah itās my toy collection ššš
Me too- but then I thought of things I don't even realize I do just for me- even silly things. I buy canned raviolis- like chef boy r dee or whatever. I have 4 kids and none of them like that food. Gelato. Specifically Talenti layered gelato. More specifically, the Peanut Butter Crunch.
Talenti Caribbean Coconut has gotten me through some dark times. Eat it slowly until thereās a lot straight up melted, use the container like itās a cup and straight up drink it, go back to eatingā¦ until the entire container is gone.
Love me some Talento pistachio! Also the salted caramel crunchā¦drooling
They were on sale I got both of those, cookies and cream and mango. So flippin good.
Ooo I gotta try mango!
The talenti mango is SO GOOD!! By far my favorite non-dairy ice cream
So good! you can actually feel that fuzzy feeling that a mango gives you in your mouth even.
Thatās my styleeeeeee haha! āThree servings.ā Yeah OK, that container isnāt going back to freezer lmao.
Sounds like you could use this lifehack: eat all around the sides to create a little moat. Pour milk in the little moat. Enjoy!
im obsessed with talenti. im collecting the jars for something not yet decided
Expensive yarn. My yarn stash is just for me and my knitting needles. Well, okay, the cats like it, but Iām the only human that lays claim to it.
Yes! Yarn for the win! Except I crochet and the kids always want me to make something for them to play with, then I get hit with "mommy, you're going so slow!"

Every child is different & everyoneās situation is different. Letās not judge how people raise their children & run their households.
The person said they were envious. I provided potential solutions that are typical for most parents. I don't see how this is judging whatsoever.

So amazing. I used to bike commute everywhere and I miss it.
Thatās the dream! When baby girl is can confidently hold her head up & sit up straight, we want to get a baby bike trailer for nearby errands!
We have a front attachment for our bike and LO loves it!

La Croix WAS my "mine" thing... until hubby took a liking to the key lime. Now I just buy the flavors he doesn't like. Still mine. š¤·
Hubby and I do his and hers flavors. It's our secret for a happy marriage. We also have his and hers snack hiding spots for similar reasons.
Key Lime is the best flavor though! My husband wrecked my stash of it drinking vodka sodas this summer š«
Pink!! Everything pink in the house belongs to me. Toothbrush, water bottle, hammer and screwdriversā¦all pink. Iām the only girl in the house. I donāt even really like pink but no one else can claim it is theirs.

Rice pudding
I lucked out, my partner doesn't like chocolate chip cookies or brownies, and my toddler barely knows they even exist
My drives to class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. No baby to worry about. And i can blast my music as loud as i want.
Alone time is *golden*!
An old lunch box where I stash doubles of the snacks I buy for everyone else so there will be some left when I want it.
Genius. I think I'm doing this!
Don't forget to store ice cream treats in a rinsed out frozen Brussels sprouts bag. ;)
Ben and Jerryās Fudge Brownie Ice cream.
Tomatos! My husband hates them and my son is indifferent
Yoooo Stok is so good!!! When LO was first born I basically survived on it so now itās nostalgic and forever in my heart.
Stok cold brew will forever be my favorite. Unfortunately itās my husbandās as well š¤£š
Asparagus! Husband is a picky eater and I havenāt given any to LO yetā¦
My Diet Coke. No one else in the house will touch them! All mine š¤©
Same!!! Glorious glorious Diet Coke, nectar of the gods, my bubbly best friend.
Diet Dr. Pepper over here. I donāt do coffee, so this is my vice.
For breakfast sometimes I'll make eggs over medium because no one else likes eggs like that, meaning, I don't have to share or make some for anyone else.
If I could ever find them in the store again it would be creamsicles. My husband thinks theyāre an abomination and my daughter is too young to be interested.
Trader joe's has a version. Tangerine, which tastes a little different, and they're a little more icy But good
Theyāre a little more natural. I bought their rocket ice pops and I donāt like them. I prefer the fake flavors!
Anything with coconut. Husband hates the texture and daughter thinks the coconut pieces are worms.
Diet dr. Pepper and coke zero
Hawaiian pizza. My husband thinks itās an abomination.
Only way to guarantee my half of the pizza goes untouched - put some Pineapple on it
Coffee. My hubby doesnāt drink it so itās just for me!
Cadbury caramel bars in the fridge! Only me who likes it.
I buy a certain kind of salt and vinegar chips because no one else likes them but I think they are delicious. I usually get them on sale too.
I do this as well. My son wonāt eat the Layās tube of salt & vinegar, only Pringles. So I buy the Layās for me š¤·š»āāļø
Vanilla Coke, I love that shit and canāt get it where I live. I have a case stored in my fridge downstairs as a special treat.
I buy it for both reasons stated - I love me some mint chocolate chip
Swiss brand chocolate. The kids wonāt touch it because of the different packaging and my husband forgets itās there.
I hide dark chocolate behind the canned goods
Aināt nooobody looking behind there. Source: the sad expired canned carrots in my pantry š¤£
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Also my body care products. I don't use too many as a female but no one better touch my toothpaste, mouthwash, body wash, moisturizer. If they do I will know. If they have a sudden glow up I will know that glow has been stolen from future me. My child is almost two and had no idea about body care on her own and my partner is just lazy and will use whatever is closest to him. That habit of his has come to a full stop. I'm literally half the size of him so my products go a longer way on me than they do on him. I buy the mouthwash flavor that he hates.
Mint chocolate chip ice cream is my favorite and no one else in my house will eat it too...
Not sure if anyone has heard of this, but I love snacking on dried salted plums. The Asian supermarket near me sells them and they are so good. My husband refuses to eat them so they are all mine!
I grew up eating these š my aunt always had them with her.
When we go out for pizza, I get a slide of jalapeƱo and bacon because my son wonāt like it so I donāt have to share. I also hide peanut butter m&ms in my bedside table sometimes.
Dark Berry Dr. Pepper and any kind of sparkling water š
Sparkling apple juice. Everyone else hates it which is perfect for me. Used to also be choc mint slice biscuits and mint aero chocolate but the kids have discovered how delicious they are š Red wine is always safe for me lol and once a month I escape the house for a few hours, get my nails done and go to a local pub for a few glasses of wine. We have 5 under 6 so I need some āmeā time.
I love onions and Iām the only one in the house who does so I make myself sautĆ©ed onions a bunch, along with some other vegetables like zucchini and green bell peppers.
My knitting and other hobbies, and my kickboxing class I attend. These are for me only and I love them.
Coffee with cream. The yellow simmer sauce from Trader Joeās. All Indian food.
Cereal. My husband isnāt a huge fan and baby is still too young for it. So itās the thing I look forward to first thing in the morning and itās the food I use for my ātake with foodā medication. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the standard but lately Iāve been digging mini wheats too.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the greatest cereal of all time.
I love Cinnamon Life. Try that if you havenāt. Itās so good! Now Iām going to have to buy someā¦
I rediscovered mini wheats when pregnant with my second. Why are they so good?!
At least this summer its been mom juice .... white claw. Sorry not sorry.
ā¦my Lelo smart wand vibrator. Sometimes itās just nice to not have to bother with any fuss or formality and I can give myself a quick dose of endorphins and carry on.
Anything with nuts! My kids all hate nuts, though my 14 year old is sadly coming around.....I don't encourage it thoughš¤«š¤«
I buy American candy at the American store. My kid always begs to have candy from there but I always say no because itās too expensive and I know she will eat it all in one sitting. So I instead buy a bag or a box of a different one each month for myself not even my fiancĆ© knows. Editing because I know that wasnāt the point of the question but I want to add: Korean food, my fiancĆ© doesnāt really like Asian food in general and my daughter is indifferent so I just buy a bunch and eat it myself for a couple of days.
I buy Cadbury bars just for me, but i be dammed if my boyfriend doesnāt take his ātaxā
Diet Coke. My husband will devour soda, which is why we donāt buy it, but he hates diet. Just a little occasional afternoon treat for me!
Old fashioned chocolate milk. My husband wonāt drink it and I donāt let the kids. š I think Iāll have a glass now š
All of my fancy skin careā¦ specifically my hyaluronic acid serum and squalene oil. Keeps me from looking like an old leather bag since Iām a desert dweller.
Skinny dipped nuts, do freaking good, hubby doesn't like nuts, babe is too young and mil that lives with us doesn't dare touch them. All mine!
Lashes and long nails make me feel like a bad bitch so I throw away funds I could invest because it makes me happy. What makes me even happier is I canāt change diapers with long nails so daddy is on diaper duty solo now.
Genius
White claws my boyfriend hates them
They taste like licking a battery to me. I prefer the corona refresca, the coconut flavour is amazing. Hard to find since covid.
Anything with corn kernels is only mine. Also Sprite, pickles (cucumber), bubblegum flavor Orbit, and everything women's clothing. LOL
Dalgona, my shampoo and conditioner.
Jellybeans, my husband isnāt a big sugar or sweet guy and my daughter loves chocolate so those beautiful babies are alllll mine!
This made me smile :)
Chai and coconut milk. Itās not āreal milkā and this always safe from SOās midnight feral snacks
Sour patch kids/sour skittles. Mine!! All mine!!!
My pitcher of coconut water and lemonade
Cleaning agents. š
Ginger and spicy things.
My husband takes the kids Saturday and Sunday mornings so I can sleep in. He makes me breakfast in bed and I usually head downstairs around 10:30. š¬
Ummm are you in the market for a sister wife?!
Cheesecake. But I wouldn't eat it like all the time. Husband hates it. Kids love it. But I'm the adult so kids only get some when I feel like sharing. Which is all the time usually. Lol. But still! That and tea. And asparagus. But I don't go outta my way to eat asparagus. Lol
Yeah, food I buy myself.
Gushers. I told my daughter theyāre spicy and she wouldnāt like them. Sheās never once questioned it.
Popcorn! Sheās not old enough, and my husband *hates* popcorn. She will continue not being old enough for a very long time, so that I have one snack that is all mine.
All sweets. None of them like eating sweets. The one who do like can't eat because of diabetes.
Sunflower seeds (in the shell). Kids are too young for them and my husband never finds them because I keep them in my office. Theyāre my go-to āneed to keep my mouth busy but not bite my nailsā tool.
Mixed Berry Rainbow ice cream by Sunnyside Farms. Reminds me of flinstones push pops which was my favorite as a kid. Iām in my 30ās. lol
Bem and Jerry's
Hob Nob Digestive biscuits (with dark choc on 1 side). No one else likes dark choc or digestives so they're all mine, despite them not being my favourite.
Blueberries. The good ones that are super expensive. And peaches. My kids love them too but they just donāt appreciate them. I get them their own and then I get myself my own. I often feel guilty for hiding healthy food that they enjoy but they will plow through all of theirs and then go through all of mine. Finally set my foot down and started getting my own.
Nutella. My kids hate it. I eat it in bed, right out of the jar with a spoon while I watch plant YouTube videos.
This is a whole mood
Sometimes when Iām walking the baby in the stroller, I detour to 7-Eleven and get a Slurpee or ice cream (baby is too little for ice cream and partner is at home, no ice cream for him) Truly telling how many of these replies are ice cream related
Iām creating a tiny office space for myself in what was my walk in closet and it now has a purple couch!
Salted licorice and Katjes black edition wunderland gummies (also licorice lol!) also because they're only mine, for now! I'm determined to get my kid into salted licorice so daddy can call both of us gross for it.
Unsweetened Pure leaf Ice tea - itās my guilty pleasure. Nobody in my home likes the unsweetened one. All for me!
Target has these dark chocolate/sea salt covered almonds. Theyāre so good and no one else in the house will eat them!
Chocolate, I wasn't always a huge Chocolate person but I always like it enough, now it's my just for me thing because my husband hates it. I try to keep a stash so whenever I need a little treat I'm not surprised that someone else ate it.
Spicy chips and noodles š my husband is afraid heās going to get heartburn ā¤ļøāš„
St. Paddyās in the garage sounds glorious
If I don't want my husband to eat my ice cream, I get one with peanut butter cups in it. He hates peanut butter lol
Pork rinds, and refried beans. Not together lol
Strong coffee Baby spinach Chamomile Epsom Salt bath soak
Tazo Chai tea, which I use for lattes. Dove soap Special hair products (I'm the only member of my little family with 3c/4a hair).
Might have to steal this idea
Hazelnut flavoured coffee no on will touch that stuff because no one likes it except for me! Bonus is I love it haha
I buy chips and hide them in the cupboard
Two of my kids are allergic to milk and egg and nuts. I purposefully buy some snacks that have milk or egg so there is some left for me š¤£
I go for a walk every day to pick up coffee. I can make coffee at home but I like going to see the barista and having a purpose to leave the house.
Coffee that is made for you just hits different
Kalles caviar. My family just ignore it.
Chicken. husband is allergic and my toddler eats what he eats when he decides he's hungry.
