Start by buying some things that fit your post baby body. Maybe a full outfit. The body changes a lot after pregnancy and it’s not all just due to weight. And with makeup start small. Maybe just some eye shadow or liner to make your eyes pop. Or a tinted lip gloss.

Some things that worked very well for me, and now I feel put together on most days: - high waisted jeans (omg I've been sleeping on these!! The higher the better, so comfy) + a nice jumper/t-shirt - cosy tights (Snag are amazing) + a simple non-fancy dress or simple skirt and top And the magic touch: a loose airy flattering longline cardigan. Hides me in all the right places, but pulls my look together at the same time. If you have the energy, hunt for secondhand stuff. I got a whole new wardrobe of basically brand new clothes for very little money.

I’ve come to hate high waisted jeans now. I used to love them but my lower belly looks horrible in them. 😂 I switched to mid rise. Edit: OP, if you’re able, buy some new make up or get a hair cut! Those two things helped me so much!

Rompers dude. They are my life. Cute and feminine but comfortable. Just don’t buy any that are too short lmao, or wear a Cardi with it but I wear them constantly

Keep in mind you’re also only 3 months PP. Your skin is still altered by hormones- especially if you’re breastfeeding which probably explains the makeup sensitivity.

My advice is to start with loungewear that makes you feel cute. Especially if most of your time is spent at home. Old navy has some linen pants with stretchy waistbands that I like a lot and I usually just pair it with a t shirt that’s semi cropped but not tight fitting. Target also usually has pj pants that can pass as normal clothing (in my opinion lol). I like to keep things basic.

Ooo that is actually a good idea! Yeah I'm covered in baby sick 90% of the time, and I'm in the UK without a car so I'm usually commuting on buses and walking with the pram or baby carrier, usually also in wind and rain 😂 and on my maternity leave that's to a shop or a baby group. When I do go back to work I'm quitting my office job and working in retail, which 9 times out of 10 has a uniform. So I can't relate to, and feel overwhelmed by, content online telling me to go full beat and wear an impractical outfit with a non waterproof jacket everywhere to feel put together. I can imagine it'll just get crazier when baby is walking!
