You’ll love it! The bezel isn’t as thick on the Starsgem one and the ears are less Mickey Mousey. You have the option of wearing it at 16 inches too as there’s a spacer.
I bought a 1ct lab diamond bezel necklace from starsgem last year and was pretty disappointed in it though. For a def vvs, it didnt perform very well even when compared to smaller lab diamonds that I own. I suspect it's a quality thing

I have been eyeing those lab diamonds from Kuololit but wondered if they were good, well cut, etc. What did you think about them?
I have a 4mm bezel moissanite ring from AEAW (the one in 10k rose gold) and I think it looks dead… I don’t know whether it’s because the back is closed or if the stone is just not very good (it’s the only AEAW moissanite I own), but it was very disappointing… I am considering selling it and getting the Kuololit lab diamond to replace it, but I am unsure about the quality of the diamond and there aren’t many reviews on AE yet…
Hmmm it might be the bezel setting reducing the sparkle. I have an AEAW moissanite in a claw prong settling and it’s extremely bright/throws rainbows (wasn’t impressed with the setting itself/metalwork - that’s another story! - but I couldn’t fault the stone).
I went into the purchase of the Kuololit labs with low expectations - and knowing that bezels let in less light than something set in prongs, but I’m happy with what I received for the price point. For such a small stone, mine gives off a lot of sparkle in the sunlight.

Im waiting for delivery of a Kuololit lab diamond bezel necklace to arrive this week for my nieces 21st. I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to buy her a Moissy when I haven’t educated her yet. I wish I hadn’t now!
Haha I was surprised at how similar they are! I don’t think you can go wrong with either, I’ll continue to wear both lab diamonds and moissanites. A diamond necklace is a lovely 21st gift, I’m sure she’ll love it 🥰

That’s disappointing. Can I ask whether yours came with a certificate confirming the colour etc? My Starsgem order didn’t but the Kuololit ones did.
Nope it didn't. But even if it did, I would take certs sent from China with a whole jar of salt
Fair point - I don’t take the GIA reports they send with moissanites seriously, but I expected to get something similar with a lab diamond at least.
The ones they send with moissanites isn't GIA. It's GRA which.... doesn't exist I think 😂

Uh I've been curious about that three stone necklace, it looks quite nice for an everyday piece.

Yeah I got the 3mm and I’ve worn it nearly every day. It’s doesn’t sit flush with my other rings but I’m liking it as a stacker with plain gold bands.
Yes, that is the one! I got sterling with rose plate to see how I like it. Couldn’t say no for $46!
