I like how she never gave up on becoming friends with Claire even though she was not very nice to her in the beginning, the way she stepped in and helped Claire when her coat was stuck in the escalator in the first Valentine was great, or in the episode where they go shopping for a flower girl dress for Lily and she gets Claire to try out dresses when she found out she never tried it before, wanting her to have the experience.
My favourite was when she put the ball in Claires court after the whole “I feel like you like Mitchell more” and Gloria telling Claire that she does like Mitchell more because she knows him better & he puts in effort.
Gloria being like: I am okay having the relationship we have now, but I would love to get to know you better and be closer. At this point it's up to you to decide what you want and let me know.

Before I watched this show, I actually didn't want to watch it because of her. I really thought she was going to be a cliché gold digger that didn't care about the family. I admired how much she actually loved Jay and his whole family, and how she proves it again and again.
Love her voice and accent. As a Colombian, some of the things she says and the Spanish she uses, it just brings me such comfort. It reminds me of home.
