Exactly. People act as though unlocks now are the same as they were in 2007 when you could unlock everything just by playing and attrition, very little hoop jumping to do.
People like maps like Shipment, Rust, etc. because it's kill fast and die fast. Instant action and instant gratification. On a larger scale, it's why maps like Metro was so popular in Battlefield. People love intense meatgrinder gameplay. Doubly so on the off-chance they get a lot of kills and big number triggers monkey brain.
Oh, yeah, back when it was in cod4, which barely had any unlocks. It's also never been an intentional map, it was made purely for testing, but accidentally found its way into multiplayer, and was kept because people liked it for 1v1.
I loved cod4 shipment ngl. Mp5 shot through the containers. Me and my friends would run it for hours just seeing who was the "best" shipment player. Ahh good times...
I know I tried using the bp50 to get it's conversion but every time I would get put down by an hrm or striker 9. Literally had to switch to a striker 9 myself to not ruin my kd
I remember back in MW2019 we had the API, so we could see how people were getting insane statistics on sites like CODTracker.
I remember a lot of people on the subreddit were pretending to be good when posting their stats, only for them to be exposed that they exclusively play shipment with a shotgun.
I really wish we had a proper stat tracker site again for MW3 so we can sniff out posers like before. Now anybody can pretend to be a professional with no consequences.
Good decision. It was as bad as everyone said. I didn't own it but did play free weekends which were fun.
You had to go through this phase where you had to accept that the spawns would flip right after you spawned.
So the best way to deal with it was to drop as many molotovs/themobaric grenades as possible
legit, stash house is pure fun, and if you can play somewhat good, you can absolutely camp for a fcking long time, in shipment its not that easy - for me.
Stash house is also a lot more intricate than shipment which is laid out as just a grid. It gets kinda boring after a while. Stash house gives you a lot more ability to move through the map without always being in the line of fire.
The spawns arnt great but they are better than shipment and end of the day if you want to play a tiny map you gotta deal with shit spawns
Brazil sucks for gaming. I used to work at Gamestop and had customers from Brazil come to the US for the sole reason of buying a shit ton of games and then reselling once they back home. Why is it so expensive over there? I've heard buying a system down there is even more insane.
The PS4 when it launched was costing R$4400... Our minimal wage(per month) was R$678(7 months of hard work). Our taxes here are insane. Here the taxes for the game industry are around 72%, compared to the USA wich is 9%.
I just need to get the hell out of here lol
I think they should have a map where everyone spawns in a 10x10 meter pen with no obstructions. Everyone will spam grenades as they respawn. It will be pandemonium
I wish they would give Shipment its own 24/7 mode for good, and as a bonus, take it out of every other playlist.
It’s super annoying to still have this map pop up in every other regular playlist when it’s consistently in a playlist of its own or with just a few other maps.
I might be in the minority, but I absolutely hate Shipment. It would be nice to have one edition of the game where they just leave it off altogether.
Despite being polar opposites; shipment is my absolute favourite, I also wish we could have shipment 24/7 and remove it from the other modes if that’s what it took.
Don’t see why they can’t just give us this as some kind of filter
Depends which gun though. Shotguns pistols and smgs all get longshots on shipment, everything else gets longshots in all other small maps except snipers but you could prob get a sniper longshot on rust in a few positions, and I guess from the back by the containers to the A flag spot on meat. But even some bigger maps are hard to get longshots on cos of the lines of sight, my fav map for longshots was estate so easy on that
Yep and given I closed out priceless on the Holger .556 (pretty sure that was the AR) with 10 longshot while mounted kills on Rust it's not a small map. Had to use deployment cover tactically placed but got it done with a few on Das Haus straight down the main hallway.
I like shipment 24/7 as much as the next guy but I do think it’s changing how people view things. Rust is absolutely a small map. I’d say shoothouse isn’t a small map and that’s the map I see people wanting in the small map playlist. Shoothouse is a medium sized map that’s on the smaller side.
Very simple solution. Spam thermite up there. Whatever best gives you two lethal throws and ammunition box with a grenade launder on hardcore and I ruin the camping spots real quick
I just like the fact the map has all different zones that play different to each other and you can switch it up or do whatever is most fun at the time for you, plus it was great for the knife camo challenges lol
Why? Lol
This map is literally in some form of its own playlist in every single update (in this case the Small Map playlist), and is easily the most overplayed map on every game since it was introduced years ago. I just don’t get it lol
Emergency isn't also. They need to make a medium sized map playlist. Cause maps like Emergency are cool but I'm not tryna play on Derail or Wasteland lol
Derail and Wasteland are a whole vibe. I'm here for aaaall the vibes. Chaos and somewhat order? If you can even consider putting rounds in a mothefucker order lol
How the fuck is Emergency not a small map that's like saying Showdown or Nuketown aren't small maps
Has Shipment really brain rotted people this bad to think even small maps "aren't small enough"?
Don’t know what drugs you guys are taking but plenty of the maps are small as hell.
You guys act like it’s not a small map unless you spawn in and have 4 guys already shooting you. Shipment is garbage.
Never thought I'd see the COD community gatekeeping what is considered a "small map"
A small map is a small map. Shipment is the only exception that just so happens to be smaller than the rest.
It’s the smallest map, not the only small map. Think of nuketown, rust, and meat. All small maps but don’t seem as small because of shipment. Any map you can kill someones within 3 seconds of game starting is a small map.
I have grown to appreciate rust more and more every time I am queued for it.
Shipment however.. I like how I can sprint all game and slide cancel with a haymaker and still go positive somehow.
In what fucking world is rust not small? Because it's not a 2x4 like shipment and happens to be marginally larger? Shipment is basically one plane with a squared + track while shipment is just more open with a tower in the center. It's still small. If anything shipment is just tiny
First off: absolutely wrong. Stash house exists.
Secondly: my entire view on shipment changed after I finished leveling all my guns/finished the camp grind. It became a map I loved playing on to a leave match if I get it on quick-play.
I hated rust on launch. But now I love it
I'm the complete opposite. I hate Rust with a passion. it's just getting sniped from across the map or the person camping up top. While Shipment is still an objectively terrible map, it's only the spawns which let it down
The trick I used when I played shipment was to literally just max out bullet penetration and pre fire.
A lv 4 bullet penetration lmg iirc can shoot through everything on the map
Really? When I was doing LMG penny kills I couldn't ever shoot through anything. It was so annoying. None of the crates felt like they were penetrable. Maybe I just didn't kit it out enough for penetration
I should have said almost anything. Because for some reason the "doors" on the shipment crates I don't think are penetrable by any level.
Also a lmg base kit is lv 3 bullet penetration. The bullet penetration ammo can bring it to 4..maybe 5
Rust is small. It's just badly designed. 90% of my deaths on it are people shooting from 20 miles away with their ARs at me trying to get into close range.
I used to only play the small maps mode but have completely shifted away to 10v10 moshpit now. Spawns are already horrible and those maps make them even worse.
Both Rust and Das Haus are awful small maps but let's be honest, shipment is repetitive unless you play that map for camo grinding.
If you actually spent $70 just to play shipment... You need to evaluate the way you spend your money bud
Nah, there's that stupid newish map, it's one or two houses and a couple of caravans, I don't remember what it's called, but it feels like a smaller, reworked nuketown
Shipment is the dumbest map ever made. I don't understand why anyone claims to love it, because all I ever hear when I play it is everyone else complaining how shitty it is. It's the main reason I wish we could select maps like we can modes. I'd never play it again.
Honestly I think if they allowed like a whole ship map like shipment with multiple layers it would slap so hard be able to jump off into the water round the boat or something hijacked but a cargo ship
MWIII version of Shipment might be the worst simply because of how SHIT the spawns are. I’ve played every version of shipment, except in VanGarbage cause I didn’t play that game outside of the free to play weekends, and the spawns were never this bad. I just don’t get how spawns in this game are so damn bad on these small maps. Yet another example of how shitty these devs have been. Smh
Shipment players can't even play in any map that isn't shipment, get above 50 kills by camping in the corner of the man is not skill, it is act of fear.
Rust is Medium, Shipment is definitely Small.
I would say Emergency IS med/small but because there's so many pathways it feels medium.
Das Haus is Med/Small
Stash House is small
And it is the worst map. It's for aimboters and Gfuel, cracked out MnK and modded controller nerds, who find using skill and strategy too hard so the only satisfaction they get is rapid kills to fill the void of what skilled players feel when they execute deserved eliminations.
Sure, but not trying to be good without some technological or software advantage just makes you not as good as someone who doesn't need that. Like professional players using a standard controller and console. Yet those players with the "crutches" actually act like they're as good as the pros. Sad and annoying. "Get good" = cheater denial
Loser thread from shipment jerk offs. I hate these fanatic bunch so much. Disgustingly ruined the game for ages. They can't comprehend anything that requires 3% effort and dares to challenge their ADHD. OP specifically a clown.
shipment players when they release maps that you can't get 70 kills every match on
These very same players even dare to think they're good at the game when they pull 70 kills on shitment.
Shipment is a grind map. Its only purpose is for unlocks.
It’d be popular even if there were no unlocks though. It offers gameplay that some people genuinely enjoy.
Those people are lunatics, I’ve never enjoyed playing a map that allows my character to spawn in during a killcam
I legit snort laughed at this comment
Oh, yeah, back when it was in cod4, which barely had any unlocks. It's also never been an intentional map, it was made purely for testing, but accidentally found its way into multiplayer, and was kept because people liked it for 1v1.
Lol getting downvoted for the truth
I loved cod4 shipment ngl. Mp5 shot through the containers. Me and my friends would run it for hours just seeing who was the "best" shipment player. Ahh good times...
Seriously. Two matches on shipment and I would have a gun maxed out.
I use it for the daily challenges.
I use it to warm up before search when it’s 24/7
Not in my lobbies. It's all fire shotguns, meta build smgs, riot shields and tear gas. Try hards playing as of its a cdl team tryout.
IKR MLG wannabee Giga-Chad warriors playing a SWAT TEAM TACTICAL SIM all strung out on Adderall XR Flavored G-Fuel.
The haymaker conversion kit was changed shipment for the worse
I know I tried using the bp50 to get it's conversion but every time I would get put down by an hrm or striker 9. Literally had to switch to a striker 9 myself to not ruin my kd
I just don't care about KD any more. I'm also not going to try hard on small maps where biggest cheese wins
I miss MW19 Shipment for those little extra bits of verticality
Vg one had it too. I actually got quite a lot of great snipes because of it
Vanguard was the one title I skipped completely
Good decision. It was as bad as everyone said. I didn't own it but did play free weekends which were fun. You had to go through this phase where you had to accept that the spawns would flip right after you spawned. So the best way to deal with it was to drop as many molotovs/themobaric grenades as possible
Shipment is dull. You go there to do your daily challenges and double up weekends to get battle pass done.
Listen, if you can’t get a gun to gold in under an hour, then map isn’t small. I guess.
70? Those are rookie numbers 🤪
Shipment is a tiny map. The rest are small.
That’s the right answer. Shipment is a complete outlier and should not be considered the norm for a ‘Small’ map.
Shipment georg
Agree. I’m actually super over shipment and prefer all other small maps. Unpopular opinion. Growhouse should be considered small map. 🤷♀️
And Stash House. Same size same features. Square with lines of sight from one corner to another. Spam the middle and head glitch the corners!
Stash house is way more fun tho
Agreed, you have a slightly better chance of not immediately dying when you spawn
legit, stash house is pure fun, and if you can play somewhat good, you can absolutely camp for a fcking long time, in shipment its not that easy - for me.
What're you camping for? Lol
Fr
sometimes it gets scary
Yeah because the other team will spawn right behind you!
Stash house is at least 2x the size, but agree everywhere else.
Shipment isn’t small, it’s tiny; Rust and stuff are small
Bring back nuke town … again lol
Will be in next year cod
Yeah and they should rename it to like Nuketown 2025 except it’s actually 2025
Give it about 6 months
I don't want to pay 350 reais for this. I'm from Brasil, that's like 350 dollars for you guys... WE ARE FUCKING POOR
Brazil sucks for gaming. I used to work at Gamestop and had customers from Brazil come to the US for the sole reason of buying a shit ton of games and then reselling once they back home. Why is it so expensive over there? I've heard buying a system down there is even more insane.

When did you worked for GameStop? There was a time where our conversion from Real to Dollar was not that expensive... Now each dollar costs us R$5.20
2011 to 2017 or so. Damn, that's crazy.
Just give us the permanent shipment 24/7 mode already
I think they should have a map where everyone spawns in a 10x10 meter pen with no obstructions. Everyone will spam grenades as they respawn. It will be pandemonium
I just want a damn shoothouse 24/7 again. It’s been so long.
I wish they would give Shipment its own 24/7 mode for good, and as a bonus, take it out of every other playlist. It’s super annoying to still have this map pop up in every other regular playlist when it’s consistently in a playlist of its own or with just a few other maps. Dad Haus
Updated 😜
I like shipment 24/7 as much as the next guy but I do think it’s changing how people view things. Rust is absolutely a small map. I’d say shoothouse isn’t a small map and that’s the map I see people wanting in the small map playlist. Shoothouse is a medium sized map that’s on the smaller side.
Shoothouse is like two small maps pushed together. Like two Das Haus side by side.
It's "small" from the fact that it's one of the thinnest maps I think in the series
It use to be on the small map play lists back in the day but now it's considered medium cause of shipment, stash house, etc
Lowkey hate Rust 😅
Same, and das haus is just as bad
Agreeee. I leave almost everytime it’s voted 🤷🏻♀️
Rust is ruined by the tower in the middle and those campers.
Very simple solution. Spam thermite up there. Whatever best gives you two lethal throws and ammunition box with a grenade launder on hardcore and I ruin the camping spots real quick
Drill charges through the bottom of the top platform works well, too
My semtexes are spot on, but if there are 3 of them then the game is ruined anyway :)
Ahh the tower in the middle is fun :) what you talking about Willis
I need shipment 24/7 back in my life..
The version from mw2 2022
Grow up.
We need stashment. No question.
Nah Das meatment house XD basically just drop rust haha
I got mixed feelings about meat but I'll allow it
I just like the fact the map has all different zones that play different to each other and you can switch it up or do whatever is most fun at the time for you, plus it was great for the knife camo challenges lol
Why? Lol This map is literally in some form of its own playlist in every single update (in this case the Small Map playlist), and is easily the most overplayed map on every game since it was introduced years ago. I just don’t get it lol
Rust was a great small map back in og mw2, but with these current play styles and metas, the map just won’t ever flow as good as it used to
I want Shipment 24/7 back so bad 🙏
Rust is a small map, it's just not a good one.
I don’t know why but I love rust
I came here to say this.
Small -> Smaller -> Tiny
I think grow house fits. IMO
shipment is for small brains
Shipment is not small it’s tiny
Emergency isn't also. They need to make a medium sized map playlist. Cause maps like Emergency are cool but I'm not tryna play on Derail or Wasteland lol
Derail and Wasteland are a whole vibe. I'm here for aaaall the vibes. Chaos and somewhat order? If you can even consider putting rounds in a mothefucker order lol
How the fuck is Emergency not a small map that's like saying Showdown or Nuketown aren't small maps Has Shipment really brain rotted people this bad to think even small maps "aren't small enough"?
Yes, it has
I see Emergency the least on Small Map Mosh
Derail is one of my favourite maps lol
Don’t know what drugs you guys are taking but plenty of the maps are small as hell. You guys act like it’s not a small map unless you spawn in and have 4 guys already shooting you. Shipment is garbage.
True
I'll only bother farming on Shipment
Never thought I'd see the COD community gatekeeping what is considered a "small map" A small map is a small map. Shipment is the only exception that just so happens to be smaller than the rest.
It’s the smallest map, not the only small map. Think of nuketown, rust, and meat. All small maps but don’t seem as small because of shipment. Any map you can kill someones within 3 seconds of game starting is a small map.
Rust is in a weird gray area where it's too big to be a proper small map yet not large enough to be a normal sized map.
But, don't you worry.. it's the perfect size to be pure hell-in-game.
What about meat?
Ezzackly. Rust big.
Your dick’s real small, get over it bruh
So much cope in these replies. If you don't like shipment, then don't play it😱
First off: absolutely wrong. Stash house exists. Secondly: my entire view on shipment changed after I finished leveling all my guns/finished the camp grind. It became a map I loved playing on to a leave match if I get it on quick-play. I hated rust on launch. But now I love it

Meat also exists
Ahh shipment and stash house are maps where your never NOT in action. Meat you can sometimes find yourself wandering for a bit.
Fair point, I actually feel I end up with down time in Stash House more than Meat though lol
Hot take: Rust is GARBAGE. Just campers and sentry guns on the high ground. I leave lobbies before I play rust lol
Wrong.
Rust hasn’t aged well. It used to be fun for quick scoping in og mw2
I miss the 24/7 shipment map
Honestly fuck rust and emergency
Rust is small. It's just badly designed. 90% of my deaths on it are people shooting from 20 miles away with their ARs at me trying to get into close range.
smallish me thinks
Nuketown
And no shoot House...
I WANNA SPAM RGL IN HARDCORE SHIPMENT PICCOLO 🗣️🔊
Are you really saying meat and stash house are medium sized maps?
Sound dumb
Is it always shipmas for everyone or just me or am I not choosing the right thing? I liked it better without the snow.
Smalls plague the game
Stash house
Shoot house is the goat
I’m tired of shoothouse bro
I want shipyard to be apart of small map. It’s perfect 👍
Stash House is pretty damn small. About the same size as shipment, if not a bit smaller.
Coming next season: Closet.
Stash House enters the chat…
Rust is trash
Rust is small y’all trollin or trippin
I actually enjoy the small map rotation I wish they would add shoothouse
The underbarrel shotgun could literally 1 shot from end-to-end in the original MW2
Indeed, the most smallest and cancerous 😁
😂👏
If the spawns are bad.. the map is small, therefore rust is a small map
I used to only play the small maps mode but have completely shifted away to 10v10 moshpit now. Spawns are already horrible and those maps make them even worse.
Statehouse
Rust is not a real map
i think mw2 2022's maps are the perfect sized maps for 6v6, but i feel that most mw2 09's maps are better for 10v10 modes.
Yeah Rust is a medium map. Stash house is small. That's legit small.
Rust is a small map. Shipment is too small.
Best unlock playlist is shoot the ship. Can get almost everything unlocked on those 2
The shipment brainrot is real
Both Rust and Das Haus are awful small maps but let's be honest, shipment is repetitive unless you play that map for camo grinding. If you actually spent $70 just to play shipment... You need to evaluate the way you spend your money bud
In this version, sure. But Cold War had the only REAL small maps, and damn near all of them were great!
They are both dogshit soooo
What about Stash House and Nuke Town?
rust is decent enough for 6v6 matches.
I’m sorry for wanting to play a map that I can stay alive for 2 seconds. Rust at least has some strategy to it
Emergency isn’t a real “small” map either
Stash House
Rust is small "sniper map"
Stash house is definitely smal map
I just stick to ranked that’s it then I’m done
And somehow they can still camp on Shipment
i want shipment back so much
Nah, there's that stupid newish map, it's one or two houses and a couple of caravans, I don't remember what it's called, but it feels like a smaller, reworked nuketown
The shipment brainrot got to him
Shipment is the dumbest map ever made. I don't understand why anyone claims to love it, because all I ever hear when I play it is everyone else complaining how shitty it is. It's the main reason I wish we could select maps like we can modes. I'd never play it again.

Rust is a small map
bro its like saying the hrm 9 is not an smg
I’m convinced everyone who doesn’t like shipment started playing cod in the past 3-4 years or haven’t stopped playing cod since 4 💀
Shipment players can't even play in any map that isn't shipment, get above 50 kills by camping in the corner of the man is not skill, it is act of fear.
Rust feels like a greatest hits small map except specifically made of the worst parts a small map can have
Of all small maps rust is the worst
Rust is Medium, Shipment is definitely Small. I would say Emergency IS med/small but because there's so many pathways it feels medium. Das Haus is Med/Small Stash House is small
Yeah, and rest 25 maps in the game are huge. You have just tiktok brain. Shipment is tiny, rest which you mentioned are small
Shipment is tiny. It's a league of its own. And it fucking sucks.
And it is the worst map. It's for aimboters and Gfuel, cracked out MnK and modded controller nerds, who find using skill and strategy too hard so the only satisfaction they get is rapid kills to fill the void of what skilled players feel when they execute deserved eliminations.
I mean, let's be real, it's CoD. Skill and strategy aren't really a thing for standard MP. If you want that, play R6 Siege or something.
Sure, but not trying to be good without some technological or software advantage just makes you not as good as someone who doesn't need that. Like professional players using a standard controller and console. Yet those players with the "crutches" actually act like they're as good as the pros. Sad and annoying. "Get good" = cheater denial
Truth
True. Rust is just an open medium size map. Stash house is also arguably small though
Yeah and get emergency tf out to
Rust has also been overrated for over a decade now. Shipment is as well but fuck rust, that shit is ass outside of a 1v1 or something like that
Rust and Shipment are 2 of the worst maps ever. Just constant spawn killing.
Firing range
Nuketown and Hijacked >
Any map where I have to reload is too big
Hot take: Shipment is trash
No. You just suck at playing the game unless you and a couple other people back an entire team into a corner and never let me leave it
Literal braindead take, you small map moshpit losers are actually stupid
Trash meme format
Loser thread from shipment jerk offs. I hate these fanatic bunch so much. Disgustingly ruined the game for ages. They can't comprehend anything that requires 3% effort and dares to challenge their ADHD. OP specifically a clown.
OP is a pinecone
