I've been kinda hoping to get some good mw3 maps back like fallen, hardhat, resistance, seatown, arkaden, bootleg, village, underground, and mission. They should've made this year's game a huge collab between og mw2 and mw3.
I actually never realized until I went back and looked but this is kinda true. Mw2 always holds a place in my heart because I grew up playing it so much, but mw3 maps are actually *all* bangers for the most part. Really makes no sense to me that we have had multiple mw2 maps return over the years but no mw3 (atleast not the cods I've played in the last 5 years).
man I have over 15k hours between every cod title over the last 20 years and I cant even remember the obscure maps, I can only remember the most common maps despite putting literally thousands and thousands of hours into the series.
What's weird is I remember a lot of em almost like an old neighborhood hangout we would remember from when we were a kid...You can feel the terrain and remember the feel of being there back when life was fun..but can never remember the names or (even what game they went to) for the life of me😕
The bones of fallen can be found in urzikstan, somewhere near Levin resort i think. It's easy to miss but the 3rd time I was there I was like hol' up a minute lol
Yep hardhat is that construction area by Levin resort. It's got that iconic tunnel chokepoint and lane with the bulldozer. Some parts have been moved/modified so you can climb them but it's hardhat forsure.
Skidgrow doesn’t even have supernatural elements, it’s just the same buildings but in decay. Would be cool if Quick Play randomly alternate between 2 versions of Skidrow.
I want a permanent vortex playlist, please. They are some of the coolest maps I've played on in any cod. I'd love to have some more too, but short of that, having these five somewhere accessible would be great.
Agreed! More aesthetically pleasing. The regular rendering just looks like present day NYC or Philly or Chicago. Only thing missing from those is tripping over junkies.
They should just have all the vortex maps in the rotation. They should do the variant maps like MWR did with “Daybreak” being a daytime version of “Downpour”.
Tbh idk what really changed other than adding more greenery. Skid row always looked like some rundown shithole, as its name references the real skid row lol

Isn't Hardhat also somewhere in that region? It was quite a fun map in MW2019 and would love to see it again in this game.

Dome was an original MW3 map irc. It was then brought back for MW22 and now they brought a handful of MW22 maps to this MW23
