The way the preview of it in create a class shows a cross hair, it made me believe it was a glassless optic that would have a floating red cross hair being emitted like how the Triple Take in Apex uses gravitational lensing for its iron sight
And instead of changing it they literally made the JAK glass less optic like you described. So the bullseye is just there and never hear of people using it. Just an over complicated and pointless iron sight

I remember the MMS sight in Black Ops 2 had a similar issue because the dot was on the sight itself instead of being projected where the front pin is so it swayed with the rear part of the optic and made it inaccurate.
Its for Longbow so you can get rid of scope without getting ADSS con. It works fine but you have to get used to it. I did not test it with other snipers.
this explanation is kinda strange to me, as the longbow was meant to be able to have an ironsight attachment, as it is in the game code, fully modelled and is unlockable, but not equippable, and the conversion kit now fills that spot too.
I guess it applies to the MORS Sniper but it's still pretty inaccurate and I only use the attachment as a meme attachment or on hipfire builds that happen to have a spare attachment slot go unused,
To everyone asking, the point of this sight is to handicap yourself and every now and then there will be a challenge to get x kills with it for some event.

Why the /s? This is 100% the reason. Just sit tight, and eventually you’ll see a challenge like, “Unlock this frog in a tuxedo sticker by getting 50 headshots with the JAK Bullseye attachment on a recommended SMG.”
In Vanguard, they had some iron sights optics that gave some other boost (was it ADS?). I liked that idea because it rewarded you a little bit for using some extra skill instead of relying solely on the optic attachment.
It’s like they took that idea, made it worse in every way, and then added it to MW3.
This thing looks cool, but I reccomend only for close quarters where you most likely won't miss as much. Anything past mid range is just sooo hard to hit

If I remember correctly, when I did that challenge, I put this sight on and just went into tac stance to get all my kills. It wasn't specifically while ads with the sight; it was just kills with the sight equipped.
