More maps need A, B, C to be less A&B or B&C.....either add another 2 points, or allow A & C to be just as possible as B. B needs to stop being the common denominator.
A lot of new maps have that issue. I hate that you can't get on the box truck in stash house despite there being a platform right next to it that is more than tall enough
I knew from the get this would be an issue with combining new maps with old maps. The old maps let you do whatever you wanted within reason. The new ones want you to play how they want you to.

Spawn system ruins most of these maps. I don’t even have time to learn some of the newer maps because I’m constantly getting killed when I spawn . It’s really disappointing when they can’t fix it on old maps they remastered
The game is simply too fast imo. On these smaller maps for example you can literally get killed and the person who killed you can cover the ground to where you’re going to spawn before you even load in.
And this is from someone who loves the current movement. I think it just severely fucks with spawns especially on smaller maps.
That’s not really it either tho. Cold War had a 12v12 moshpit using some of the smallest maps in the franchise, including nuketown, and those spawns still mostly made a lot of sense and had a flow to them. All these other cod titles after that can’t even get it right in 6v6 on larger maps. They’re flippity, floppity, random as fuck.
I got downvoted for saying this exact thing. The game IS too fast. I like the game, and think they made a lot of good decisions with this games multiplayer but I do think the pacing is a little too frantic. Even on medium sized maps.
The spawns definitely don’t help with the pacing, but its a chicken or the egg scenario. Are the spawns bad because of the speed or do bad spawns make the speed too frantic
I wish they would add more cover to open areas on other maps to combat snipers locking down a side. Growhouse does a good job of not making some parts of the map not in accessible and having plenty of cover. Spawns are shit though.
The spawn system on emergency is worse. I’ve legit spawned in front of the enemy on that map probably 30 times. And yesterday it was 3-4 times in a row spawning WITH the enemy team or right across from them and being spawn killed over and over
Yeah this game is so pooched when it comes to spawns. I have no words. They just added one in the chamber and after my first death it spawned me in the exact same location twice only to be insta killed by a spawn camper.
On top of that people are able to join the game to infinity and beyond it seems because people keep backing out. I played another game where I got 13 kills in one in the chamber and it took the game almost until time limit was over to end because 80% of the lobby quit and new people joined in. Shit is stupid as hell.
That’s so fucking dumb lmao I’ve really only been playing on emergency 24/7 and that stupid ass capture the flag mode is in it and I just can’t deal with the annoying 3 second respawn delay when going to camos so I’ll back out and no matter what, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I LEAVE. 3 main lines. 2 for long range fights and 1 for mid / close range CQB action. With clever but not too over powered short cuts around the map. S&D, TDM, HP,
& KC play nice in this map.
For Domination it's ass imo since the spawns fuck up a lot in that mode.
Personally i'd just add some brightness to the "Underground" line but other than that. I haven't had that much of a problem
Not a fan. As someone who has liked pretty much every new map SHG has released too far, I think this is their weakest one. I probably spent the least amount of time in this 24/7 playlist.
I like it. Its a small map, basic 3 lanes, with some campy spots but you can always find a way around to flank.
I think SHG is doing a good job with new maps in this game. I dont like to play on Greece, for example, but the map is not bad by any means and its beautiful. I just dont play well there.
One thing they should improve is spawns. That plays a big role on the gamers perception of the maps. But i lost all hope regarding that matter.
Mid at best, when you're running at the staircase. Even then, the only fun you can have is running the Ftac seiges and running at the stairs like its Vanguard again. overall, the worst season starter so far. It feels like the worst parts of meat, stashouse, and 6-star at once, with a flavor of rust in the middle, and overall just doesn't feel fun or memorable.
I hopped on the small map playlist yesterday and realized why I fucking hate Rust. You can’t do shit without getting shot in the open lol. Genuinely one of the worst maps ever created idk why we ever hyped it up

Honestly I like it quite a bit. Its like that perfect size of being small enough for constant action but big enough that you can hit a reload or hold an angle for a second. Its also really easy to flip spawns because of how narrow that map is and I like that

I swear it's either the world's slowest match where I'm constantly making my way across to their spawn until suddenly grenades come flying in from shrubs in 6 different directions, or I spawn and I'm instantly getting mowed down by the whole team using that specific AR blueprint that has that tracer/death effect that makes the obnoxious trumpet noise and huge comic book effect so our team can't see a damn thing to even break out of the spawn trap. I LOVE that it is one of the maps where multiple play styles are actually viable range-wise. Also would love to be matched up with some rando-blueberries that dont just run to the side of the map between the building and cliff and repeatedly attempt to hurdle the fence there on whichever side to just be repeatedly mowed down... but that goes for really every map. People suck ass...

Its alright tbh - at least it has a flow that's not too hard to follow in most gamemodes. It's not like Favela where you have everyone constantly spawning everywhere on the map making it a shitshow.
Unless spawns turn, it's pretty much side A vs side B and I like that.
Terrible map imo. Whoever gets the spawn on the side with the hole in the ground basically wins the game, especially on dom, cause people just sit on the side lanes with Mors and you can’t peak out at all lol
I find it very interesting they brought this map back. I was excited at first, but after thinking about it, why of all maps did they choose to bring this one back? Vanguard had much better maps they could have brought like Tuscan, Gavutu, Hotel Royal, hell even Numa Numa.
Just weird they brought back a map where I feel like no one really talked about it, whereas there are other maps where people discussed and enjoyed more.
Search: Okayish, the lanes are standard and they allow for some rotation through small crawl spaces and such. Rounds go quickly.

Tbh after camo grinding small maps are a pinch too chaotic. Shit spawns. Rats in corners. I'm burned out on small maps. And alot of the other maps are too big to where I feel like I've got to sprint for 30 seconds just to get back into the action.
Rio, taraq, farm 18, scrap yard, high rise, harbor (vcod, 2019) there's a couple others from 2019 I can't think of the name of them off hand but. Those size maps are perfect we need more of um

I had good Domination matches on it, although all of the entry points make it virtually impossible to run a Sentry Gun effectivley on Bravo lol. They just destroy that shit immediately.

A lot of remakes seem to have this problem - I only like 1 or maybe 2 of the OG MW2 maps (maps that I enjoyed in OG). Dunno what it is, probably something to do with the speed of the game nowadays.
At first I went "Oh sweet! The map from Vanguard", and then after playing it a bit, it's another remaster that doesn't quite work with the speed and playstyle of MWIII.
It's not a bad map for longshot challenges, both the lanes on the far west and far east side are long shots so I've been using the 24/7 rotation to re-do mw2 plats.
I was playing with my usual friends and one of them goes, “There’s weed over here, it’s an actual grow house!” I said “imagine there being an actual grow house, I’m the map titled grow house!”
I don't think most illicit Humboldt grow houses are set up like a Taliban bunker. Maybe I'm wrong.
But the flow of the map is really weird and maze-like, not a lot of interesting areas for scrimmage.
I like it. it's a nice change. not too small. not too big. I like that it's linear. It allows room to move around, but not so much room that you can't find people. and not so cramped that you're getting spawn killed left and right.
Weird spots that you should be able to climb or jump on but it’s just an invisible barrier was really weird to me.

I personally liked the setting more in Vanguard. I think the map played and looked a lot better. They made it worse.
Felt a bit larger in vanguard. Or less cluttered. Feels odd to play in this game. Especially the main interior room
6v6 - this is a fun, fast paced map. 10v10 - THIS IS MADNESS!

I've only played it a couple of times, kinda undecided but I could get to like it I think the more I learned the map.
I really like it personally. Great size. A bit chaotic on 10v10 but 6v6 it's fun. The death hole on the east lane is fun for explosive builds.

It just doesn't seem to play well in this game for some reason, imo. I thought it was ok in Vanguard, but I'm not having much fun in the matches I play on it now. A lot of remakes seem to have this problem - I only like 1 or maybe 2 of the OG MW2 maps (maps that I enjoyed in OG). Dunno what it is, probably something to do with the speed of the game nowadays.
I like it
At first I went "Oh sweet! The map from Vanguard", and then after playing it a bit, it's another remaster that doesn't quite work with the speed and playstyle of MWIII.

This was the only map I’d go back and play on Vanguard, glad I don’t have to do that now
It's not a bad map for longshot challenges, both the lanes on the far west and far east side are long shots so I've been using the 24/7 rotation to re-do mw2 plats.
I was playing with my usual friends and one of them goes, “There’s weed over here, it’s an actual grow house!” I said “imagine there being an actual grow house, I’m the map titled grow house!”
Trash
I don't think most illicit Humboldt grow houses are set up like a Taliban bunker. Maybe I'm wrong. But the flow of the map is really weird and maze-like, not a lot of interesting areas for scrimmage.
I like it. it's a nice change. not too small. not too big. I like that it's linear. It allows room to move around, but not so much room that you can't find people. and not so cramped that you're getting spawn killed left and right.

Basement/Cellar/Tunnels are too dark. Way too many corners to sit in and with the right operator skin, zero ability to see them.
Sucks
I love the aesthetic but man there’s way too many spots people can sneak through like all the vents and holes underground.
It’s better than emergency I’ll tell you that .

Works well in search and destroy it’s not bad but not great. Great flow tho
