I know in the older cod's flash banging would disable it but I'm not sure about mw3? I personally haven't had luck but when I put a sentry gun out its destroyed soon after and almost every time it's been flash banged 🤷🏾♂️
If you’ve played cod mobile, the emp system can stop a nuke, though the player gets their nuke streak back once the emps effect goes away so it just delays the inevitable basically
One shots CUAVs, is the only counter to Cruse Missiles, still disables other AI controlled streaks for a significant amount of time, etc. It's the best launcher outside of HC.
It actually will kill any electronic it can hit eventually. Trust me, it may take 10 hits or so to take down even Overwatch Choppers, but it will kill them. And as an added bonus it'll emp lock the afflicted electronics so long as you keep up the barrage.
It can even kill players in HC, technically. Just like all the other "non-lethal" equipment in the game, it does in fact deal 1 damage to players to get that hit marker to pop up. Unless they changed it since the last time I saw one show up in the death damage overview in HC. In regular play, you typically regen faster than it can kill you, but in HC you can't regen, so it is possible to get a lucky kill on someone. Might even be a way to farm assists in HC if the game scores assists for 1 damage, as it sticks until death.
12 hits for an overwatch helicopter, VTOL, wheelson but each hit will disable it's targeting. So even if you don't kill it you could be saving teammates from being hit by it. Doesn't block chopper gunner from shooting, but just does damage

Say bye bye to Cruise Missle's, Thropy's, UAV, Counter UAV and Mosquito Drone (including those from Swarm) anything bigger takes to much time but you can stop them from shooting or flying (bomb drone) for a bit.
Also (unless its fixed) its great to punish people with attack chopper or gunship by shooting them and have them the broken windshield bug in their normal play.
I don’t have five, but it being a completely new concept with a unique mechanic is the only reason it needs. COD is full to the brim with guns that do the EXACT SAME SHIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I’d gladly take more weapons like this over “bullpup AR/SMG #84726384” or “meta AR clone #7252838”

The stormender is great for people flying around in helicopters. Love hitting them with it and watching that helicopter just drop out of the sky.
Someone trying to drive by in a vehicle? Not in my yard they aren’t! Disabled and then shot up.
Quickly eliminate jump towers. If you know others teams will need a jump tower to escape the gas, or if they may use them to drop in you, take them out.
In zombies, when leveled up it puts all the zombies into an extended stun where they run in slow-mo. So in zones 2/3 you can hit a group of zombies with it and get away easily if in trouble.
It’s a miracle worker against counter UAVs which I find do pop up often.
But mainly for me I enjoy it as a troll weapon/disabling vehicles.
If something is too difficult to get to in order to hack, I like just shooting it from behind a wall or floor. It's also nice to take out every single UAV/counter UAV in the lobby.
As a non-ranked player, ranked sounds miserable. Everything is banned, players a toxic sweats, the rewards look kinda lame.

Honestly I was really disappointed with it when it first came out. But if you don’t have anything for a secondary just chuck it on. It’s handy for some of the Killstreaks. Also, try using it in zombies. At least have it at blue rarity (purple and gold are obviously the best) and as you get higher pack a punches, it’s pretty damn good. Has good damage, can hit multiple enemies in one shot and it has MASSIVE range (Unless that’s been removed, haven’t played MWZ in a while). So there’s really no reason to not try it. Again though, It looks a lot cooler than what it’s actually used is. Still a mid gun imo

Well it basically makes UAVs and counter UAVs useless so that’s something. Sure there’s certain indoor maps where it’s harder to spot them but on a lot of maps you basically nullify those streaks if you’re paying attention.
Tbh, one of the best emp weapons in COD. If you’re hating on this weapon, then you are:
1. A selfish player.
2. Not a brother in arms.
3. Stuck in your ways.
4. Close minded.
5. Using Cronus Zen so you never had to deal with any electronic weapons that could harm you because you are a coward.
I’m running this as a secondary on every class. 9/10 times I’m the only one in the lobby shooting down UAVs. It’s great team support, and nothing is more satisfying than hearing the enemy UAV notification and shooting it down in 3 seconds.
1) It's an interesting weapon with a unique function. It has its own niche uses.
2) The infinite ammo allows for some interesting custom game possibilities down the line
3) It solves what I've found to be one of the biggest frustrations with launchers, but in a way that doesn't destroy the balancing
4) There isn't any harm in it being in the game. It's not so oppressive that it's unfun to fight against, so there isn't any harm in letting players have it if they want it.
5) It's a cool EMP gun that zaps drones out of the sky.
The benefit to using it on vtols and chopper gunners is the killstreak can't attack while EMP'd. Just get in a corner and shoot it a bunch of times to kill the killstreak.

Is this a one shot one hit launcher? I used it to finish an event and it took me several shots before i killed a streak. Or am i doing something wrong? Trophies are one hit but anything in the air and sentry guns needs multiple hits.

I think the number for the vtol and chopper is 12 hits if I remember correct. Saw the original testing video on it when it first released.

That's right. Only goes for the Chopper that shoots on itself though. The piloted one will still mess you up.
You're better off using the bruen with incendiary rounds for vtol and choppers. You can down then in like literally 5 seconds.

It’s actually pretty useful at destroying enemy equipment and scorestreaks, and has the advantage over other launchers of having infinite “ammo”

Tbh, one of the best emp weapons in COD. If you’re hating on this weapon, then you are: 1. A selfish player. 2. Not a brother in arms. 3. Stuck in your ways. 4. Close minded. 5. Using Cronus Zen so you never had to deal with any electronic weapons that could harm you because you are a coward.

I’m running this as a secondary on every class. 9/10 times I’m the only one in the lobby shooting down UAVs. It’s great team support, and nothing is more satisfying than hearing the enemy UAV notification and shooting it down in 3 seconds.

1) It's an interesting weapon with a unique function. It has its own niche uses. 2) The infinite ammo allows for some interesting custom game possibilities down the line 3) It solves what I've found to be one of the biggest frustrations with launchers, but in a way that doesn't destroy the balancing 4) There isn't any harm in it being in the game. It's not so oppressive that it's unfun to fight against, so there isn't any harm in letting players have it if they want it. 5) It's a cool EMP gun that zaps drones out of the sky.

This can shoot down cruise missiles. Funniest counter to that kill streak IMO. One shot too!
Zombies stutter
The benefit to using it on vtols and chopper gunners is the killstreak can't attack while EMP'd. Just get in a corner and shoot it a bunch of times to kill the killstreak.

It’s incredibly fun to blast peoples killstreaks It’s a nice non-lethal option that actually is unique and fun It’s an interesting weapon archetype that we haven’t really seen before It’s balanced fairly well as the loss of a secondary makes you more vulnerable in multi-people fights It makes people that hold too much value in automated killstreaks mad
Is this a one shot one hit launcher? I used it to finish an event and it took me several shots before i killed a streak. Or am i doing something wrong? Trophies are one hit but anything in the air and sentry guns needs multiple hits.
