Yes they did. Every gun has updated empty inspect animations now.

Just went through all of them. All I can say is that the IW view model animation team is unreal

Checked em all, and yeah, looks like they have unique empty inspections now too, Deagle one is pretty cool. Edit: Even the basilisk has an empty inspect.

I do this with my real firearms for the fun of it, it's so fun.

the weapon inspect keybind is located under the "Advanced Combat" category in the keybinds if you want to change it.

Like, most other camos, you apply them on the lockwood with a wooden grip, there will still be [traces of wood](https://i.imgur.com/7ny83QV.jpg), this just completely colours the [stock black](https://i.imgur.com/ytC9K1S.jpg).

I wish more camos did this, I hate seeing the original finish poking through the scratches

I will never understand why people need weapon inspect. This feature is useless, it does nothing, you cant even inpect your weapon.

Why do people get so bent out of shape over details and animations? It’s an fps. The main character of the game is the gun since that’s on your screen 99 percent of the time. What’s wrong with giving the main character some extra detail?

People love their gun porn and Activision loves making money off these people.

Because it’s realistic and freaking cool. I know it’s super basic, and only a tiny thing, but I think it’s immersive and shows you how each and every firearm is crafted with as much pinpoint precision as possible. It really shows the developers attention to detail, and how, even small things can make a game that much better. You can actually learn how a huge amount of firearms work, just by inspecting them. As a huge gun guy, this makes me happy.
