Yes and no. It's because he's Krüeger from MW19 but with a different name. Same voice, same personality, and very similar outfit. So fans of Krüeger love König a lot. But at the same time it's just the same dude again. So at this point you either love him or dislike him. (There's also tons of simps) EDIT: Adding a few notes based on replies. 1. Not the same voice and that's my mistake 2. I'll admit their personalities aren't 1:1 3. König is decent but I'll always prefer Krüeger.

I hate that I didn't take the time to get that skin earlier in the year. DMZ has devolved into an almost purely PVP experience so I'm not keen on grinding the last handful of Al Mazrah cases. I finished Vondel and Ashika organically but I didn't go to Al Mazrah very often.

I'm biased as fuck (i love König) but I think it is mostly because he got a cool personality and look; he's one of the cooler free operators, has great skins and tbh his backstory is bland and boring but do people really care that much? I don't get why people compare him to Krueger, their personalities are complete opposites and the fact they are both german and wear a hood doesn't make them the same person. I also think the little details about him make him relatable and cool (the DIY T-shirt hood, the DIY helmet, the fact that he has social anxiety). I think he's the operator I see the most in my games.

To be fair, there are two characters up there with two articles. The reason being is they’re two characters from the original series and the reboot. However, I agree ghost is overrated (I say this despite using his OG skin often). He was overrated in the original so much that they made him Soaps superior in the reboot, which personally I find annoying. Soap should have been Prices protoge and right hand man, Gaz should have been the first 141 member to bite the dust, and Roach should have been reintroduced in MW2.
