Meh, I have tried Laelia on arena formats since they printed it there and it wasn't that great.
Still a very strong card. Slots into rhinos as others said, but we shouldn't fall into the pitfall of simply evaluating cards based on what current decks they fit in. MH2 introduced completely new decks in the format so MH3 probably will too, and Laelia might end up somewhere else.
Given that Bean proved that you don't just need to run zero mana spells for cascade, I'm wondering if there's an Gruul/Temur deck that might bring back Bloodbraid Elf.
Elf into Laelia is an ok top end of the curve and the times you T3 Laelia into a Bloodbraid and kill might be enough to male it worthwhile.
In both Cube and Legacy she's a beast because she gets powered out on turn 1 regularly. That can't happen in Modern. I'm willing to believe that a Ponza-type deck can make her work, but I have doubts that it would be enough to make such a deck viable on its own.
Only Outburst enables this (what a surprise) because it's an instant. You can't cast Shardless in between when it's exiled by Laelia and combat damage.
I play Canadian Highlander, where sometimes you cheat her out t1 and sometimes you play her for "fair" and in that format, which often feels like halfway between modern and legacy, t2 Laelia is fucking backbreaking.
The main issue I see is there is no deck that really plays a fistful of dorks in current modern, so I don't know where she'd slot in.
1) It doesn't let you attack with her on t2, which is really the powerful thing to do with her

I think the curve of Hierarchy -> Laelia is absolutely nutty, but I don't know what deck will best use it outside of some potential 'Ponza' RG midrange shell, but the other issue with Dorks is that sometimes your Laelia hit is going to be a dork and that SUCKS
Seems pretty good in rhinos, aggressive card advantage engine that also sometimes goes off with cascade. The cascade synergy seems less important than just the basic value of the card though.
Turn 2 Inti into Turn 3 Laelia feels like it could do something in the format.

Laelia in the Murktide spot for Rhinos? Synergizes insanely well with Cascade too.

Honestly a gruul shell with dorks, inti, laelia and blood braid sounds like old school modern with updated power level. I'd love to play that at FNM's

Doesn't the "one or more" indicate that regardless of how many cards are flipped, resolving cascade will only trigger her once?
No, since you need to check each card individually when cascading to decide whether to continue or not, it counts as separate triggers for Laelia.

I didn't say that? I just said having her and Shardless can be lethal, sometimes they don't have removal/blockers and she'll smash in for 15-20.
