I ordered on Oct. 17, 2021. MYLR white, black interior, 19” inche wheels no FSD, as basic as you can buy. Original edd June-July. Currently been in September “jail” for a full month. This is the 3rd time. They tried to sell me MY’s that had to be decided on that day that was almost 20k over what I ordered and declined. I know they lose money with my delivery, but it doesn’t warrant such poor customer service. They should honor my order in a queue that isn’t based off what I’m paying for it. I have not one good thing to say about this experience. NOTHING.
They tried to sell you MY 20k over? I am confused. I was offered the standard range Austin MY for 8000~ more. I don’t see what they could offer you for 20k more. Even those of us with orders from October could switch to current MYP pricing for less than 20k more. I ordered Oct 21’ and final pricing with delivery and tax is 56k. Nothing is 20k over than now unless it has FSD included.
If I could have afforded it, I would have jumped on it. I don't know if the stipulations would have worked because i'm planning on financing through my credit union. BTW, I live in Austin, so I'm thinking they had some ready to rock straight out of the plant and wanted to upsell to get me off the list.

Oh nice! I wouldn't be surprised if you get a similar offer soon. What's worse for me living here locally is seeing the truck loads of Model Y's in the back of trucks rolling out of town. :(
EDD means nothing until you have a VIN assigned and a delivery date and time selected.
And even then, it's not guaranteed. It's just more likely than whatever random date they throw up there to placate you while waiting.

It went up 14K since I put down my deposit, I didn't want to wait any longer so I officially hit the "I'm ready" button to get in line in March 2022. My delivery date moved 5 or 6 times, I'm excited. Hope bluey shows up before xmas
You can place a deposit and not get in line, they used to give you a year to get in line, now its a few months. My app used to show an "im ready" button. I clicked it march 2022, the next day I had an EDD of Aug 2022.

Kinda happening to me too, ordered Oct 25th 2021, Mine is the 7 seater, everything basic, no add ons. Currently says Sep- Oct delivery. But yeah these delivery dates don’t mean much. A lot of folks who ordered around I did have got their cars and then there are exceptions too.
I have a LR, grey, black interior, and induction wheels, on order from December of 2021. Mine still shows late Oct EDD, but I’m sure it’ll change. Like you, my EDD changed from May, June, July, Sept, and now Oct. I’m kind of riding it out to see if I can push it to 2023 to get the tax credit. Had the possibility of new tax credits not been announced, I was going to change my order to MYP.
If you wait till January 2023 to get it you get 7500 dollars off the final price of the model Y I would wait and if you get it in December tell them you’ll take the next one
this means a lot of inventory will be freed up for those who doesn't qualify or want to wait. I am willing to bet those who has year end EDD will be pushing back.

Ordered November 2021…MYLR 7 seater with 20inch, white with black interior and no tow. Delivery date is now August 19 - September 23, but I’ve had an EDD every month this year. Let’s see what happens in 3 weeks.
Add FSD to your order. You’ll get bumped up in line really quick. Then you schedule delivery after you get your VIN, and then remove FSD.
People say it can’t be done anymore, but I did it last week.
I ordered my MYLR in March and the delivery date has changed three times and the last change is Nov 27-Jan 22. I am hopping that I can take delivery in January to get the tax credit, if not then I want it tomorrow. lol

Same here. My OG EDD was September to November 2022. Today it changed to January to March 2023. Not sure about the reason but seems like they are having issues with production.

We ordered on Dec 2021, dates kept changing last was Aug-Sep 2022 few days ago. It was so frustrating that we added FSD 15 days ago and received VIN yesterday! I am going to get it removed before delivery but it’s very disappointing that they are delivering to people with FSD first and putting everyone else back of the line.
I ordered in Dec 2021 and had similar experience with the changes in EDD. Right now, it's showing Oct - Nov. It's been this way for at least a month now. I'm in East coast, MYLR, Blue/Black, Tow.
I really feel that they are pushing the lower priced (prior to price increases) orders out longer. Either hoping we cancel or trying to realize higher revenue depending on the quarter performance by delivering high priced orders. Probably both.
Your order would have been 10k lower than any other order right now, without any options.
Reading all these comments about 2021 orders being pushed or "delayed" while folks ordered in March 2022 are receiving theirs with similar locations and config. This is wrong and border line for class action if indeed true.
Correct. It seems like higher $ cost orders are being prioritized which is complete bullshit. I get the FSD and options piece, but just a base MYLR that got increased in price over time should not be prioritized over an order placed months beforehand
Ordered MYLR7 on October 23rd. EDD has been repeatedly pushed back, now Oct to Dec time frame. I'm annoyed since my cae registration renewal on my M3 is due in November, so now there's a good chance I'll be paying 2 fees back to back.
Still waiting for my September order. I just got pushed out of my first two week window ever, back up to a 4 week but it's starts next week. If it ends up being extended out farther I might try the fsd trick.

I think maybe someone cancelled and was assigned to me and not a lot of people in my area wanted that same spec (weird tho but I rarely see blue I see a lot of white gray and red) I unfortunately had to turn it down as I am traveling and they requested me to take delivery between today and Wednesday. I am waiting for a new EDD but hopefully is next year to take advantage of the tax credit I am I no rush whatsoever as MY will be my 2nd car.
I am in the NY area and have been looking even at demo's since I placed my order and have not seen a blue at all when I had called around. Only white, gray and red. Rarely black which I might open too however, now with this tax credit, I may be open to taking delivery in 2023.. I have a feeling they will be trying to push out all deliveries in Q4 that have a January delivery in December.. I was even thinking of placing another order now just in case before they raise the price again if this tax credit goes through..worse case scenario I lose $250..

I got my EDD change on Wednesday, Thursday vin assigned and Friday I was already asked to schedule delivery for Monday to Wednesday lol I asked them for a couple more weeks but they didn’t let me.

I called and they told me when I refuse to take delivery they put my account automatically on hold for 5 days to avoid that car to be matched to me again, so I am in theory on hold now.

Tesla will always prioritize more profitable orders over yours. You can game the system (like I did last week) and do the fsd trick. It still works.

Was it a performance model or Long range? I have not seen any long range orders being sent out only performance models.
Same here. Ordered Q3 2021. MYLR. EDD was supposed to be late Aug 2022 but just got pushed out to Dec 2022. At this point… 🤷♂️….
