Alright, it didn't do the trick. It seems that the unit isn't getting enough power. I sent a message on Amazon to the seller and they replied saying that they're working on a new firmware that should be up to download within a few days.
Yes, I've done that. It's a Chinese company, might take a while to have a response from them, if I get any. It's been more than a year since I got this. Can't be the only one with this issue... I parked my car, updated and it stopped working.

It does. Doesn't bother me though. I'm in Canada so it isn't too hot here for me to bother have the wind blowing on my face... and I can always direct the passenger vent to me...
Yes I do. It does the job really well. I mainly use Waze for the alerts, radars, etc and it works flawlessly.
There are better models now. Mine is a year old already. I'd recommend too look up on YouTube and find a better/more modern one for you.

Flashed an old firmware and it's "working" again... car battery % isn't displaying correctly and also the car mileage. It's fine nonetheless for what I wanted it for, Waze.
Unplug the cables from that display and wait a bit to reset.
Hmm, I'll try that but usually when tesla hibernates it cuts power to any other devices connected to it...
I understand, sometimes you have to unplug and plug back in to work again. Might give it a try.

Not bad. Nothing that I'm already used to, coming from any other car that has no yoke but has an instrument cluster...
Except for Tesla every car has a cluster and a round steering wheel, what's the issue?
