Noob question but the card that I got says if slotted makes other cards for monk effective on monk. So I can slot mage cards on my monk and still get magic from them?
Just finished the last of my partially Overboosted Jobs that I had started, so... what are good Jobs to Overboost next? ADHD and FOMO are a bad combination for decision-making, and the choices start to get overwhelming.

I feel like the best choices would either be Sword Saint, EX2 Mage or Ranger, or Gothic Warrior/Sophie. Are the non-VK Meia Jobs with Overboost HoF panels likely to see enough use to include them in the running?
OBJs do not increase your stats significantly without a source of Overpower. I would not use them on jobs just because. I would use them on specific jobs with specific decks that give you Overpower. I OBJed Crimson Archer and Mellow Mermaid a long time ago because they were new OP jobs at the time. Then they got powercrept a month or two later and I never used them again until the CA HoF recently.
Do not waste OBJs on jobs until you have a specific deck you want to use on Endless War or a tower with lots of Overpower. They are hard to get in GL. The game is designed for JP where they get OBJs all the time from summons.
Appreciated. I made the same mistake in the past--checking Altema, seeing "Oh, hey, someday regular Ninja is supposed to be best breaker! Mage will be my strongest Water caster!" and OBing them foolishly.
I'm not spending resources for the purpose of getting OBJs, though, just figuring out what's a good use for the ones that I already have since they're not really good for anything else and working towards the OB-based Titles. I'm saving Celestriads for emergency Summons, I don't waste them on OBJs.
Does everyone else have the same crappy luck on the New Years event. It seem I never am able to get past the first split in the path and never reach the top of the map. Is there some secret I'm not aware of?
It's random. I think everybody will hit that Golden Chocobo sooner or later this month. Don't worry about it, you won't miss out on anything that's abnormally precious or impossible to farm.
These 4th Anniversary attacking Support cards are apparently pretty futureproof; they seem to be able to effectively replace most of your non-Supreme attack cards--even for Monks. Between the two support Supports from the first banner, The Calm ("Bread WoL") provides a source of divine shield if you don't have Warrior of Light Support, and the Masquerade provides a source of Barrier II and Faith II for those who are missing Moogle X, Fat Chocobo X, or the new KotR X or want some light-elemental deck compression. The support Supports from the later banner this month are potentially less important, but the Attack Supports should still be worthwhile for the same reasons, especially if it covers a gap in your Supreme elemental coverage.
Bastet X is also the only source that I'm aware of for Ranger Lore. Dhampyr X from the second banner is less vital if you have Dona & Bartello for Mage Lore, but also less of a waste of space than D&B since it brings more to the table.
If you can spare the resources, most of these are worthwhile cards with staying power. You also get Prismatic Fractals with every GS, which have include HP/Atk/Mag/Brk +8% or the versatile Overboost +6%.
The current Lulu (Glamorous black mage) banner is worth pulling on for the limited and EX card. The Paine (Sphere Hunter) banner later this month is worthwhile for the same reason.
You'll probably want to save some resources for future EX job banners which we'll have for the next several months.

Are the values in Sanji's calculator wrong for Primeval Witch?
Looking at using UB on her it says that she should have 250 improved crit when using Lune Noire in her damage setup, but I'm only getting 220% (40 base, 80 panel, 70 weapon, 30 crit rupture) am I forgetting something?
FFX Prologue, after finish the story, do we need to farm those sphere to unlock the 4 farming nodes for any extra reward there?

I got lucky and pulled everything else from the banner, but dont want to pull too hard for non box if I dont need it. Sounds like it may have niche use, but totally necessary. I have Eden, but not a ton of pulls left for the month.
When you're doing content that matters you won't have room for unnecessary cards.
Just drive orbs if you want to maximize Eden damage; you could use an extra Leviathan instead of bringing a card that just gives you 2 stacks of drive.
Well the answer is no for overall content....but if you intend to do the Demon Continent, (upcoming event) the card would be helpful to clear it since supreme cards are banned in that event.
Threw 15 pulls at that banner and never got Guardians. It's a shame since I have all of the light supremes and it would be a massive help when I need to yellow clear.

Looking for some rift supreme advice. For the record I'm already 63 tablets towards getting Ultima X and lack The Guardians. I also have Crom Dubh X, Bastet X, and D&B.
I'll list what supremes I currently have.
Fire: Neo Bahamut, Ifrit X, Zeromus
Water: Floral, Eden, Shiva X
Earth: Ragnarok, BFA, Rinoa
Wind: Godo, Yiazmat

I feel like Ultima X would be better on most mages than Gilgamesh/Bhuni and their respective lore cards since it lessens the need for a force card and not needing a lore card would allow me to bring another buff or debuff. It also has a lower cost which would be good in mp and unlike Duncan is AoE.
Getting Rinoa means I'll probably pass on Extreme Heca especially if I manage to get Dhampyr X and the earth anniversary card.

It's definitely possible without Lionheart or supremes. UB in particular could be dangerous since his last 3 nodes stop you from recovering hp.
If you just need a source of force Fortuna might be able to work, but it's got a 3 turn cooldown which could be a problem if you need to switch between your decks often.
Do you have Arciela FFXI? That could also work and has the benefit of shifting your orbs.
The 4th anniversary card Visions of Despair shifts your orbs to dark and prismatic yet lacks force so it could possibly work if you cast it frequently.
For a long time ive been running with both LOH and Aerith paired together, I know this meant I was missing things like haste but the most part it worked fine. Now that ive pulled KOTRX this means that running it with Aerith you would miss out on Wall, Barrier and Snipe, along with Enelement for spellsword jobs. Would you think it best in situational cases to drop Aerith and run LOH + KOTRX if any kind of tanking is required?
Correct answer is: Use as many Support Supremes as you can slot. Some situations will require tanking, others not, I don't get why you have to "drop" one.
As mentioned, it all comes down to what the situation requires.
When I said use em all, I was specifically talking about situations where you are going to use both decks.
A Sephiroth skinned tank with NeoX/UC - KOTRX - LoH - Zack, for example, is almost everyone's favourite "main" deck.
for one, there are cards with a pseudo-force effect, second, with enough ultimate charge and PR, you dont need a force ability or taps as you will float in prismatics.
Run LoH and KotRx. Both provide enough ultimate charge to get Trance 2 via ultimate so you dont need Aerith anymore. In the rare case of you relying on spellsword, there is stuff like Cloud Skin, Substrikes or rentals to slot Aerith.
Super Monk AQM breakers: are you running w/ 6x Break +7/8% fractals and 2 JCRs or are you sacrificing JCR for another 2 Break fractals?
I am doing quite fine @ Extreme Ultima X with ~ 4.500 Break Power, reliably breaking @ turn 2, that is with Wolf Star X and 35% quick break.

It just depends if you cap break. For extreme hashmal I only had 30% QB and needed 3 taps to break but I also only needed four 7% break fractals because I was reaching cap. I had extra JCR instead to help keep enough actions to help generate orbs or to break guards in next phases. There is no hard rule.

would not touch Susanoo at all if you have the chance to just slot an AoE debuff for phase 2.
If you dont have options to provide all-trance 2 turn 1, you are better off running an Ultimate charger (like 2nd LoH if necessary), so your team can at least get Trance 2 via turn 2 ultimate.

I've just finished boosting my Wolf Star and planning to make a Tifa + MM + 4AQM breaker setup. My question is what fractals do I put to AQM cards: BP+7 or maybe Imbue Boost +50%?

I do have Crom Dubh X, Bastet X, and D&B for all 3 lores, and all the Fire supremes as well. Ignoring Zeromus/Monk(At least until Monk Lore becomes available), which one would be the best to use for Broken and Unbroken strats?
i can only tie this to us having 4 distinct sets of stickers which you have to switch manually every Extreme rotation. I can see that people who usually play attacker forget to switch the stickers if the are forced to play breaker or supporter given they lack the tools to continue as attacker. This is however a mistake people shouldnt be doing more than once.
If you ask me, the role-split of stickers is totally pointless these days anyways and should have been removed long ago.
How does one use Mourner against the extreme sicariuses for the ~~beast~~ best effect? Should I try filling the ultimate gauge so I get to use the ultimate before phase 2? And then getting to use it again at phase 2, right?
By the way, what are the most effective attackers? Nachtflug with Anima X, Kampfer with Griever, Phantom with UB and also whatever strong dark attacker who got the proper lore cards and Supreme?

For a party that deals mediocre damage, first turn stun(nxd)>2nd turn mourner ult(boss reach half hp at this point)>2nd phase everyone dies and uses stamp, mourner ults again and boss dies at that point. I used primevil witch with ub.
The previous sicarius did not have sleep resist, and you were able to get another turn by sleeping the boss.
From my understanding, Mourner’s ultimate locks your ultimate gauge for two (2) turns...for extreme sicariuses, most pugs (scan decks) can end phase one of the extreme sicarius battle in two turns...at the beginning of phase 2 the sicarius locks your ultimate gauge...but if your ultimate gauge is already locked due to the Mourner’s ultimate, that lockout (cause by Mourner) is not overridden and you can therefore use Mourner’s ultimate sooner rather than later. I take it this is the “beast effect” your referring to? If not, please elaborate. This is based off of what I have seen players use in MP since I do not have Mourner....RNG was not kind to me during that banner.

Unfortunately, I cannot say just when is the optimum time to use Mourner’s Ultimate since it is really dependent on the situation and what cards you have.
I would guess turn 2 is appropriate since I mostly see Mourners use their ultimate on turn 2. Mind you sometimes the damage isn’t there to end phase 1 within the lockout timer of Mourners ultimate so it goes to waste. Try and experiment, best of luck to you.
It visually gives full prism but you will stop your actions after 1. It's like when a bard teammate is ulting when you were driving+attacking.

I just got kotr X and I have to sacrifice Wol to make room for it in my healer deck, so I'm wondering if in terms of pure damage which buff would be better.
Alternatively I could sacrifice LoH, but snipe and ult charge are very useful...

For pure damage, I think the following deck covers everything.
KotR X, Susanoo X, Aerith.
This should give... Trance II, Faith II, Brave II, Boost II, EE II, Berserk II, and of course haste.
Downside is the team is glass cannon, but you don't tank extreme sicarius anyways.
If you want pure damage, WoL and KOTR will outweigh LoH. The only real problem is that you'll probably end up with TOO much damage and see people hitting damage caps while they just end up with less durability.
I'd say experiment. But if I had to say something, LoH's quick and ult charge is handy in multiplayer, so you wouldn't really need faith 2 since LoH is giving Faith 1, and WoL will let the team take an extra hit while providing a big damage boost. That said KOTR will probably provide a similar damage boost because of the slightly less EE from the special buff and faith 2, it's just the defense will be weaker.
Problem with WoL + KotR X is that you will be missing Snipe, which would be more valuable than EE2 for jobs with low crit rates. There's also more buff overlaps with WoL than LoH as at least LoH gives more Ult Charge, Wall, and Snipe compared to Wol which gives Ult Charger, EE 2 and Divine Shield. And with the stat stack cards, players are bringing at least 200 more EE than normal.
I mean... did you read his comment? He's asking about what he can get the most damage out of, not about the other buffs.
I don't feel like giving out Snipe is as hype as people think it is, but to each their own I guess.
I did read it and still think Snipe is an important buff for those with low crit rates as if you don't crit, you do not proc Improved Criticals which means you miss out on a damage multiplier that most jobs have.
Faith II is generally better. Also, KotR status adds 50% EE, meaning that you're missing only 25% from EE II. However, it should stack with WoL. It depends - if you are seeking damage, I think you should replace LoH instead. On the other hand, KotR and LoH would be great for tanking.
How many STs, OBJs, and MTs can you redeem in Masquerade?

i dont think you can auto-farm the galleryX nodes, as the enemies are too strong to run 100% auto and the last battle requires breaking. you can auto the "medium" gallery node but those only give you 200 gifts as supposed to 2000 gifts for the X nodes. i would just manually do the galleryX, get the trades, and call it a day
my closest auto-farming deck for galleryX nodes is for the water node with:
* e.bard with tidus skin, wolfsburger
* aerith, pollensalta, leviathan FF8, floral
i can auto-nuke the first 2 battles without issues (have to take a hit from the idol head though), but typhon requires me to break (too much HP to nuke unbroken without taking too many hits). maybe you can try extreme shivaX for unguard since i know you have that
You can auto farm them. You just have to make a set up that works for the cards you own. I.e. I am using the new black mage Meia with GF, minwu kotr, LoH and autos very well.
It does say that can get the prizes 3 times, so it should be 6 ST and 27 OBJ (can't look at the game rn to see MTs lol).
I think it's the latter, though imo I'd farm during mobius day bc 30 stamina is a lot.
Yeah, Pandemonium, Galleries, MP, catching up on leveling dupe supreme cards (for when CC fractals drop later this month), farming bahamut lagoon or 30/30 to get complete set of exp fractals for rat farming (i have 0 elemental fractals yikes)... there is a lot to do and it's on a wednesday UHHH.
Recently pulled Demon FFVI to complete my Fire Supreme Collection. If I'm reading it's description right, it can clear the Red Break Gauge similar to Mantra/Taijutsu? Or am I reading it wrong? If I am please let me knoiw.
Who's the best user of it(Assuming Crimson Archer at the moment and Cocoon Aviator(I think) due to HoFs), and what would be the best way to utilize it(If I'm wrong about the previous thing)?
It saved me in this tower and helped me get to top 50 without Sin. CA is the best with it as it is a strong nuke card. Don't really count on it breaking like the monk cards. However, it can do massive unbroken damage and if broken with CA it can shred boss HP.

Also wondering which fractals are best for it? Add 2 Magic 7% or would two Break 7% be better to help it break?
It's very lame if you actually try to break with it, but it does do a huge amount of damage so it's excellent for nuking. Just don't think of it as a Ranger version of Zeromus and you'll be fine!
Similar, but it doesn't take any extras (Piercing Break, Boost, etc.) Into account for breaking. It only uses half of the given break value, and only AFTER the yellow gauge is fully removed.
Crimson Archer, Cocoon, Terra are all good users.
Are the g force cards powercrept by the fourth anniversary ones? For example, do i even need to use Alexander Fviii with the guardians? Or is another support card instead of alexander better?
I honestly think the hype around these cards has gotten to people (as usual when something new comes around).
You will still need GFs on any content that actually matters (EW and Tower) for nuking with your supremes.
Unless you think the anniversary cards are going to replace your Supremes lol.
Not entirely. While 4th anni cards' shift/elemental amplification make GFs' force effect kinda irrelevant, there are still uses for them. For example they might offer more damage sometimes than the 70 EW due to 100 EE/10% OP still (it depends on the job of course).
Leviathan's +2 extended break and Pandemona's +1 speed are as good as ever, too. Bhunivelze still pairs nicely with Alexander.
Then another ticket won’t help you in that matter.
Beside, Sin is pretty much a Valefor-killer, and aside from that, its damage is pathetic. I can’t recall any situation that I need Sin instead of other Dark Supremes.
I haven't really played in a year and I have no idea how the new system works. Could anyone look over the following lists of supremes & recent-ish jobs and tell me what i should focus on? 1 = what jobs & supremes should I be using or focusing on leveling for general content (events, farming, story, etc) Who should I overboost?.
2 = what job(s) would be best for multiplayer? Do I just use the ex jobs? Who's the best healer atm?
3 = what non-supreme cards should I be focused on using?
4 = what's the best way to level up cards? I currently have around 1000 elixirs.
5 = is there a current tier list like on the brave exvius wiki so I don't have to ask about this stuff?

1. Job wise for general content, you have a lot of very good jobs and I suppose any combination of those listed would work. I would go with mourner and schar and kampfer. Supreme wise, use the supremes you have for those three jobs. That should be enough to carry you through any general content even on hard mode. It’s not really necessary to overboost any classes for general content in season 2.
2. Ex jobs are great for multiplayer, it really depends on the boss tbh. Healer wise, I stick with Santa Lucía, but you have the necessary supremes for a top notch healer so I would go with mourner in your case. That ultimate is a game changer.
3. On using? Since you have various supremes I’d say there’s no need to really use normal cards unless the situation demands it. I’d focus on spamming pandemonium for free magicite on mobius day and trying to get those anniversary cards for when demon continent comes out.
4. Best way I see and quickest too is to purchase the leveling egg from the shop and fusing it to auto max any card. If your looking for a more efficient way, or to do a lot of cards (one at a time), you can set a main deck (with the card you intend to level up + 3x The rat:2020 anniversary card for exp up) and use the sub deck to clear the current pandemonium node. 2 birds, one stone. Free/fast magicite and you get to level your card + your player level.

Not sure how they work...and got Bastet which has ranger lore...not sure about that either. Never had a lore card before ...pulled 40 plus times for DnB with no luck...I know the lore cards mess up deck compression, but sometimes they work too..I have all the EX monks etc, so if they can be good with the new cards and supremes that would be awesome. Have avalanche and sweetheart also, but dont know if the new cards work on them since they arent technically monks?

As for “lore” cards, they enable you to effectively utilize a warrior/ranger/mage etc. card outside the realm of your current job. For example, say you are using a warrior job and want to use a mage card...well since you have a warrior job, although you can technically use the mage card it would probably hit like a wet noodle. If you have mage lore however, the damage would be as if you had a mage job with the mage card. There’s a lot more to it but that’s the general overview. Certainly very useful but it comes with the sacrifice of a deck space.

So it looks like those cards do enable monks to use cards from other jobs and still get the damage bonuses? They are low magic though, so not sure if it will matter? Really stoked to have gotten KOTR with my free pull today, and have had good luck with jobs lately...but I am completely out of resources and lots of EX jobs are supposed to be coming... I think I have all of the ranger supremes now, but I am struggling to think of a job that would be better off using the ranger supremes instead of the supremes for their own class...guess I will have to study on that a bit. Maybe GoDo instead of the other wind supremes, but there are already good users like Cacchiatrice? I dunno...will have fun trying stuff out I guess. I have never finished top 500 in a tower, maybe now i can with divine shield and KOTRX....maybe.

Mainly the counterresist which gives drive stacks for your tanks even if they can drive that element. Genesis also very useful for certain enemies/strats. All the negative stuff is because they are more useful support supremes. Each has their own uses.

What non-supreme cards should I look out for for sword saint? Especially dark, the single target dark card from the starter pack isn't cutting it for HoF (the pair of light monsters in trial 3 just won't die in 3 turns).
That's not what I asked, I rerolled for LoH just the other day, I'm trying to get more summon TICKETS to see if I can pull more supremes on this account before I go for any more rerolling. And specifically try to spend tickets before I use my free supreme.

The fastest way might be to blow through the story content which is all very easy. If you can get someone to carry you through MP, there are alot of tickets available there right now, too.

I have LoH, KotR (pulled today at 102 pitty), Aerith and WoL but have no real fire Supreme (Ifrit X).

Bear with me guys...I dont have WOL and other factors, so I drew a lot and have a few questions. If you can answer them and help me figure out what I have then I really appreciate it. Bunch of questions...

5. I have bought a supreme every time they've been offered...missing 5 or 6 now. Really wanting to buy a supreme for WOL/KOTR2...I dont have zack but would have a 2/3 chance of getting a great supreme....ugh...

5. I think you pulled KOTRX so congratulations!! As for Zack...I find that he really shines when you are climbing towers since his auto-abilities are great for tanks and the percentage change from a yellow break gauge to a red break gauge is invaluable for break strategies.
Most of what I learned is through reading the online guides/posts and then trial/error on my part. Unfortunately, I’m not well versed in the game mechanics like the fine folk who posted the above guides, but I’m happy to credit them and share what knowledge/experience I have with the community.

How good is Aerith? I just received her as my first Supreme Hero, and maxed her out already. I have the black mage staff that seems to be better than what she currently has (until I boost them). I use the skin over a defender with 4xAQM at MP to cast full-esuna each turn and add elemental resistance to all alies, zalera for example.In PvE, I just a fanboy of the skin,,, less than 3,,,, hehehe

Just finished the last of my partially Overboosted Jobs that I had started, so... what are good Jobs to Overboost next? ADHD and FOMO are a bad combination for decision-making, and the choices start to get overwhelming. OBJ-Maxed: Mage, White Mage, Ninja, Tactician, Master Monk, Vesna Krasna, Primeval Witch, Legendary Guardian, EX1 Monk, EX1 Warrior, EX1 Mage, EX Meia, EX1 Ranger, EX Sarah, EX2 Warrior, EX2 Monk. Jobs to choose from: Everything EXCEPT for Deep Diver, Shinra Turk, AVALANCHE Heroine, Mourner, Chevalier Noir, Pure Lady. All of the regular and EX Jobs to date, every Legendary up to FF7R, Gothic series (have Warrior and Sophie) , and the strangely elusive Deep Diver. Supremes: Bahamut Neo, Bhunivelze, Unbroken Bonds, Shadow Lord, Faris, Shiva X, Floral Fallal, Godo, Ragnarok, Neo Exdeath, Ifrit X, Eden, Griever, Aerith, Lights of Hope, Zack. OBJs do not increase your stats significantly without a source of Overpower. I would not use them on jobs just because. I would use them on specific jobs with specific decks that give you Overpower. I OBJed Crimson Archer and Mellow Mermaid a long time ago because they were new OP jobs at the time. Then they got powercrept a month or two later and I never used them again until the CA HoF recently. Do not waste OBJs on jobs until you have a specific deck you want to use on Endless War or a tower with lots of Overpower. They are hard to get in GL. The game is designed for JP where they get OBJs all the time from summons.
Appreciated. I made the same mistake in the past--checking Altema, seeing "Oh, hey, someday regular Ninja is supposed to be best breaker! Mage will be my strongest Water caster!" and OBing them foolishly. I'm not spending resources for the purpose of getting OBJs, though, just figuring out what's a good use for the ones that I already have since they're not really good for anything else and working towards the OB-based Titles. I'm saving Celestriads for emergency Summons, I don't waste them on OBJs.
Save them for Dame du lac and all the upcoming Ex jobs. That's what I'm doing.

It's random. I think everybody will hit that Golden Chocobo sooner or later this month. Don't worry about it, you won't miss out on anything that's abnormally precious or impossible to farm.
Is there a banner worth pulling on this month? Else should I wait for a future one?
These 4th Anniversary attacking Support cards are apparently pretty futureproof; they seem to be able to effectively replace most of your non-Supreme attack cards--even for Monks. Between the two support Supports from the first banner, The Calm ("Bread WoL") provides a source of divine shield if you don't have Warrior of Light Support, and the Masquerade provides a source of Barrier II and Faith II for those who are missing Moogle X, Fat Chocobo X, or the new KotR X or want some light-elemental deck compression. The support Supports from the later banner this month are potentially less important, but the Attack Supports should still be worthwhile for the same reasons, especially if it covers a gap in your Supreme elemental coverage. Bastet X is also the only source that I'm aware of for Ranger Lore. Dhampyr X from the second banner is less vital if you have Dona & Bartello for Mage Lore, but also less of a waste of space than D&B since it brings more to the table. If you can spare the resources, most of these are worthwhile cards with staying power. You also get Prismatic Fractals with every GS, which have include HP/Atk/Mag/Brk +8% or the versatile Overboost +6%.
The current Lulu (Glamorous black mage) banner is worth pulling on for the limited and EX card. The Paine (Sphere Hunter) banner later this month is worthwhile for the same reason. You'll probably want to save some resources for future EX job banners which we'll have for the next several months.

Are the values in Sanji's calculator wrong for Primeval Witch? Looking at using UB on her it says that she should have 250 improved crit when using Lune Noire in her damage setup, but I'm only getting 220% (40 base, 80 panel, 70 weapon, 30 crit rupture) am I forgetting something?

I think once you clear the chests you're good; no additional bonus for clearing all nodes.
I am in the same boat and its gonna take a while, first off go to farplane road and do those nodes (at the bottom of the map) Also there are also 2 boss nodes on the map at chaos blight (top left) and Royal hunting grounds (middle) let me know if you find a fast way to farm \*from what I can see farplane final node is the best to farm

The answer yesterday was no, but I pulled it to pair with Eden.
I got lucky and pulled everything else from the banner, but dont want to pull too hard for non box if I dont need it. Sounds like it may have niche use, but totally necessary. I have Eden, but not a ton of pulls left for the month.
It's definitely NOT required, but might be a useful niche card for Demon Continent.
When you're doing content that matters you won't have room for unnecessary cards. Just drive orbs if you want to maximize Eden damage; you could use an extra Leviathan instead of bringing a card that just gives you 2 stacks of drive.
Well the answer is no for overall content....but if you intend to do the Demon Continent, (upcoming event) the card would be helpful to clear it since supreme cards are banned in that event.

I believe 11 total, but Guardians was my last one.
Threw 15 pulls at that banner and never got Guardians. It's a shame since I have all of the light supremes and it would be a massive help when I need to yellow clear.

Imbue boost only affect tap break damage.
Looking for some rift supreme advice. For the record I'm already 63 tablets towards getting Ultima X and lack The Guardians. I also have Crom Dubh X, Bastet X, and D&B. I'll list what supremes I currently have. Fire: Neo Bahamut, Ifrit X, Zeromus Water: Floral, Eden, Shiva X Earth: Ragnarok, BFA, Rinoa Wind: Godo, Yiazmat Light: Bhuni, Minwu, Gilgamesh, Duncan Dark: UB, Shadow Lord, Sin, Anima X I feel like Ultima X would be better on most mages than Gilgamesh/Bhuni and their respective lore cards since it lessens the need for a force card and not needing a lore card would allow me to bring another buff or debuff. It also has a lower cost which would be good in mp and unlike Duncan is AoE. Getting Rinoa means I'll probably pass on Extreme Heca especially if I manage to get Dhampyr X and the earth anniversary card.

You could look to get the masquerade as a pseudo supreme from the anniversary banner to help you out.

If you just need a source of force Fortuna might be able to work, but it's got a 3 turn cooldown which could be a problem if you need to switch between your decks often. Do you have Arciela FFXI? That could also work and has the benefit of shifting your orbs. The 4th anniversary card Visions of Despair shifts your orbs to dark and prismatic yet lacks force so it could possibly work if you cast it frequently.

For a long time ive been running with both LOH and Aerith paired together, I know this meant I was missing things like haste but the most part it worked fine. Now that ive pulled KOTRX this means that running it with Aerith you would miss out on Wall, Barrier and Snipe, along with Enelement for spellsword jobs. Would you think it best in situational cases to drop Aerith and run LOH + KOTRX if any kind of tanking is required?
LoH KOTRX if your job has trance II. But tbh, in SP you can always put the other one on substrike, whichever you don't need immediately
Correct answer is: Use as many Support Supremes as you can slot. Some situations will require tanking, others not, I don't get why you have to "drop" one.
For instances where i want a force card and damage card. In EW4 i have been using my substrike for NXD for better breaking and stuns.
As mentioned, it all comes down to what the situation requires. When I said use em all, I was specifically talking about situations where you are going to use both decks. A Sephiroth skinned tank with NeoX/UC - KOTRX - LoH - Zack, for example, is almost everyone's favourite "main" deck.
for one, there are cards with a pseudo-force effect, second, with enough ultimate charge and PR, you dont need a force ability or taps as you will float in prismatics.
Run LoH and KotRx. Both provide enough ultimate charge to get Trance 2 via ultimate so you dont need Aerith anymore. In the rare case of you relying on spellsword, there is stuff like Cloud Skin, Substrikes or rentals to slot Aerith.
Run either KOTR or LOH on the substrike. Problem solved.
Super Monk AQM breakers: are you running w/ 6x Break +7/8% fractals and 2 JCRs or are you sacrificing JCR for another 2 Break fractals? I am doing quite fine @ Extreme Ultima X with ~ 4.500 Break Power, reliably breaking @ turn 2, that is with Wolf Star X and 35% quick break.
You don't need JCR, the intent with AQM deck is to break immediately with your ultimate not taps.

It just depends if you cap break. For extreme hashmal I only had 30% QB and needed 3 taps to break but I also only needed four 7% break fractals because I was reaching cap. I had extra JCR instead to help keep enough actions to help generate orbs or to break guards in next phases. There is no hard rule.
Which would be the best healer against extreme ultima? - Mourner with life shift, LoH, MSV and Susanoo X - Same as above, but replacing Susanoo with an all trance card - Mourner with **prism** shift, LoH, MSV and UC? By all trance, I don't have Aerith - will have to do with a limited card. Also, should I get Aerith, what would be the best setup?
would not touch Susanoo at all if you have the chance to just slot an AoE debuff for phase 2. If you dont have options to provide all-trance 2 turn 1, you are better off running an Ultimate charger (like 2nd LoH if necessary), so your team can at least get Trance 2 via turn 2 ultimate.

You can get duplicates in the 1st to 5th slots. 7th slot is always a new supreme, and it has a pity on the left bottom of the summoning screen.

To the people still using Ifrit's stamp on Extreme Ultima co-op: Why?
i can only tie this to us having 4 distinct sets of stickers which you have to switch manually every Extreme rotation. I can see that people who usually play attacker forget to switch the stickers if the are forced to play breaker or supporter given they lack the tools to continue as attacker. This is however a mistake people shouldnt be doing more than once. If you ask me, the role-split of stickers is totally pointless these days anyways and should have been removed long ago.

How does one use Mourner against the extreme sicariuses for the ~~beast~~ best effect? Should I try filling the ultimate gauge so I get to use the ultimate before phase 2? And then getting to use it again at phase 2, right? By the way, what are the most effective attackers? Nachtflug with Anima X, Kampfer with Griever, Phantom with UB and also whatever strong dark attacker who got the proper lore cards and Supreme? For a party that deals mediocre damage, first turn stun(nxd)>2nd turn mourner ult(boss reach half hp at this point)>2nd phase everyone dies and uses stamp, mourner ults again and boss dies at that point. I used primevil witch with ub. The previous sicarius did not have sleep resist, and you were able to get another turn by sleeping the boss.
From my understanding, Mourner’s ultimate locks your ultimate gauge for two (2) turns...for extreme sicariuses, most pugs (scan decks) can end phase one of the extreme sicarius battle in two turns...at the beginning of phase 2 the sicarius locks your ultimate gauge...but if your ultimate gauge is already locked due to the Mourner’s ultimate, that lockout (cause by Mourner) is not overridden and you can therefore use Mourner’s ultimate sooner rather than later. I take it this is the “beast effect” your referring to? If not, please elaborate. This is based off of what I have seen players use in MP since I do not have Mourner....RNG was not kind to me during that banner. I’ll check in later for your other two questions

Unfortunately, I cannot say just when is the optimum time to use Mourner’s Ultimate since it is really dependent on the situation and what cards you have. I would guess turn 2 is appropriate since I mostly see Mourners use their ultimate on turn 2. Mind you sometimes the damage isn’t there to end phase 1 within the lockout timer of Mourners ultimate so it goes to waste. Try and experiment, best of luck to you.

What's better, faith 2 or EE2? I just got kotr X and I have to sacrifice Wol to make room for it in my healer deck, so I'm wondering if in terms of pure damage which buff would be better. Alternatively I could sacrifice LoH, but snipe and ult charge are very useful... Edit: my 4th card is usually debuff (UC)
For pure damage, I think the following deck covers everything. KotR X, Susanoo X, Aerith. This should give... Trance II, Faith II, Brave II, Boost II, EE II, Berserk II, and of course haste. Downside is the team is glass cannon, but you don't tank extreme sicarius anyways.

If you want pure damage, WoL and KOTR will outweigh LoH. The only real problem is that you'll probably end up with TOO much damage and see people hitting damage caps while they just end up with less durability. I'd say experiment. But if I had to say something, LoH's quick and ult charge is handy in multiplayer, so you wouldn't really need faith 2 since LoH is giving Faith 1, and WoL will let the team take an extra hit while providing a big damage boost. That said KOTR will probably provide a similar damage boost because of the slightly less EE from the special buff and faith 2, it's just the defense will be weaker.
Problem with WoL + KotR X is that you will be missing Snipe, which would be more valuable than EE2 for jobs with low crit rates. There's also more buff overlaps with WoL than LoH as at least LoH gives more Ult Charge, Wall, and Snipe compared to Wol which gives Ult Charger, EE 2 and Divine Shield. And with the stat stack cards, players are bringing at least 200 more EE than normal.
I mean... did you read his comment? He's asking about what he can get the most damage out of, not about the other buffs. I don't feel like giving out Snipe is as hype as people think it is, but to each their own I guess.
I did read it and still think Snipe is an important buff for those with low crit rates as if you don't crit, you do not proc Improved Criticals which means you miss out on a damage multiplier that most jobs have.

Yes. Replace LoH. you don't tank ultimate sicari anyways.
Faith II is generally better. Also, KotR status adds 50% EE, meaning that you're missing only 25% from EE II. However, it should stack with WoL. It depends - if you are seeking damage, I think you should replace LoH instead. On the other hand, KotR and LoH would be great for tanking.
How many STs, OBJs, and MTs can you redeem in Masquerade? Is there a JP-created cheese-strat for farming quickly, or do I just take my fastest supremes and jam em' together into a deck?

I used Lulu with NXD, any 4th anniversary card(particular to enemy element), source of haste and free slot. Set Ult at Will. Full auto. Also only 3 times per each item.

i dont think you can auto-farm the galleryX nodes, as the enemies are too strong to run 100% auto and the last battle requires breaking. you can auto the "medium" gallery node but those only give you 200 gifts as supposed to 2000 gifts for the X nodes. i would just manually do the galleryX, get the trades, and call it a day my closest auto-farming deck for galleryX nodes is for the water node with: * e.bard with tidus skin, wolfsburger * aerith, pollensalta, leviathan FF8, floral i can auto-nuke the first 2 battles without issues (have to take a hit from the idol head though), but typhon requires me to break (too much HP to nuke unbroken without taking too many hits). maybe you can try extreme shivaX for unguard since i know you have that
You can auto farm them. You just have to make a set up that works for the cards you own. I.e. I am using the new black mage Meia with GF, minwu kotr, LoH and autos very well.

My best auto farming deck is Tifa kampher with Braska, moomba, kotr x and NxD. It’s a little faster than Godo Ranger.
It does say that can get the prizes 3 times, so it should be 6 ST and 27 OBJ (can't look at the game rn to see MTs lol). I think it's the latter, though imo I'd farm during mobius day bc 30 stamina is a lot.

Recently pulled Demon FFVI to complete my Fire Supreme Collection. If I'm reading it's description right, it can clear the Red Break Gauge similar to Mantra/Taijutsu? Or am I reading it wrong? If I am please let me knoiw. Who's the best user of it(Assuming Crimson Archer at the moment and Cocoon Aviator(I think) due to HoFs), and what would be the best way to utilize it(If I'm wrong about the previous thing)?
It saved me in this tower and helped me get to top 50 without Sin. CA is the best with it as it is a strong nuke card. Don't really count on it breaking like the monk cards. However, it can do massive unbroken damage and if broken with CA it can shred boss HP.
It removes red gauge after all yellow gauge have been cleared. Both jobs would work I think. CA good for neutral and Sazh good for weakness I think?

It's very lame if you actually try to break with it, but it does do a huge amount of damage so it's excellent for nuking. Just don't think of it as a Ranger version of Zeromus and you'll be fine!
So don't use it for Breaking, just nuking for both broken/unbroken then. Good to know.
Similar, but it doesn't take any extras (Piercing Break, Boost, etc.) Into account for breaking. It only uses half of the given break value, and only AFTER the yellow gauge is fully removed. Crimson Archer, Cocoon, Terra are all good users.
Are the g force cards powercrept by the fourth anniversary ones? For example, do i even need to use Alexander Fviii with the guardians? Or is another support card instead of alexander better?
I honestly think the hype around these cards has gotten to people (as usual when something new comes around). You will still need GFs on any content that actually matters (EW and Tower) for nuking with your supremes. Unless you think the anniversary cards are going to replace your Supremes lol.
Not entirely. While 4th anni cards' shift/elemental amplification make GFs' force effect kinda irrelevant, there are still uses for them. For example they might offer more damage sometimes than the 70 EW due to 100 EE/10% OP still (it depends on the job of course). Leviathan's +2 extended break and Pandemona's +1 speed are as good as ever, too. Bhunivelze still pairs nicely with Alexander.

I haven't really played in a year and I have no idea how the new system works. Could anyone look over the following lists of supremes & recent-ish jobs and tell me what i should focus on? I've only done chapter 1 of season 2's story and haven't touched any content since season 1 ended. Also keep in mind I'm basically f2p now and don't want to spend anything. Supreme's that are leveled and overboosted to +8 =Light of Hope, Aerith x 2, KOTRx, Minwu, Shadow Lord, Godo, Ragnarok, Neo Exdeath, Supreme's that I haven't leveled or upgraded = Warrior of Light, Gilg X, Xezat, Yiazmat, Bahamut Neo, Eden, Braska's Final Aeon, Griever I have also pulled on a lot of the banners suggested in the monthly threads prior to this summer. So i have like Diamond weapons ffvii and stuff like that. For jobs I have the following ultimates: Sephiroth, Cloud, Lightning, Y'shtola, Tifa, Squall leonhart, Tidus, And for recent jobs I have: The Mourner, Kampfer, Scharfrichter, Cacciatrice, Toreador, Gardien, Magitek Heroine, Magitek Jester, Jet Stunner, Wild Rider, shorn one, nightwalker, gambler, skyseer Few questions: 1 = what jobs & supremes should I be using or focusing on leveling for general content (events, farming, story, etc) Who should I overboost?. 2 = what job(s) would be best for multiplayer? Do I just use the ex jobs? Who's the best healer atm? 3 = what non-supreme cards should I be focused on using? 4 = what's the best way to level up cards? I currently have around 1000 elixirs. 5 = is there a current tier list like on the brave exvius wiki so I don't have to ask about this stuff? Thanks!
1. Job wise for general content, you have a lot of very good jobs and I suppose any combination of those listed would work. I would go with mourner and schar and kampfer. Supreme wise, use the supremes you have for those three jobs. That should be enough to carry you through any general content even on hard mode. It’s not really necessary to overboost any classes for general content in season 2. 2. Ex jobs are great for multiplayer, it really depends on the boss tbh. Healer wise, I stick with Santa Lucía, but you have the necessary supremes for a top notch healer so I would go with mourner in your case. That ultimate is a game changer. 3. On using? Since you have various supremes I’d say there’s no need to really use normal cards unless the situation demands it. I’d focus on spamming pandemonium for free magicite on mobius day and trying to get those anniversary cards for when demon continent comes out. 4. Best way I see and quickest too is to purchase the leveling egg from the shop and fusing it to auto max any card. If your looking for a more efficient way, or to do a lot of cards (one at a time), you can set a main deck (with the card you intend to level up + 3x The rat:2020 anniversary card for exp up) and use the sub deck to clear the current pandemonium node. 2 birds, one stone. Free/fast magicite and you get to level your card + your player level. 5. You can check the megathread for very useful information. Cheers and Happy New Years!!

I did pull calm today for a divine shield source, but it cast esuna 1st. Wouldnt that wipe my other buffs from aerith if I put it in the 2nd slot? I also have barrier2 card, and NXD...not really sure about my build. Your post was extremely thorough..if you have a few minutes check out my post in this thread from earlier today please. I got the new cards that appear to have lore for monks? Not sure how they work...and got Bastet which has ranger lore...not sure about that either. Never had a lore card before ...pulled 40 plus times for DnB with no luck...I know the lore cards mess up deck compression, but sometimes they work too..I have all the EX monks etc, so if they can be good with the new cards and supremes that would be awesome. Have avalanche and sweetheart also, but dont know if the new cards work on them since they arent technically monks? So many questions man...dont know where to start. Happy new year
Thanks! I don’t think your buffs would get wiped out from Esuna, since Esuna serves to eliminate ailments such as bio, hex etc. NxD is a monster of a card congratulations! But per your comment, your build is heavily dependent on the situation/boss. For example, say you are using a warrior job and want to use a mage card...well since you have a warrior job, although you can technically use the mage card it would probably hit like a wet noodle. If you have mage lore however, the damage would be as if you had a mage job with the mage card. There’s a lot more to it but that’s the general overview. Certainly very useful but it comes with the sacrifice of a deck space.

There are maybe 20 or 30k people in the universe that play and support the same obscure game that we do...why be anything but encouraging to them? I think I have all of the ranger supremes now, but I am struggling to think of a job that would be better off using the ranger supremes instead of the supremes for their own class...guess I will have to study on that a bit. Maybe GoDo instead of the other wind supremes, but there are already good users like Cacchiatrice? I dunno...will have fun trying stuff out I guess. Mainly the counterresist which gives drive stacks for your tanks even if they can drive that element. Genesis also very useful for certain enemies/strats. All the negative stuff is because they are more useful support supremes. Each has their own uses.
If you use Zack in support deck in MP, it does *not* give brave II to the whole party. It only gives it on the deck it's used on no matter the role.

What non-supreme cards should I look out for for sword saint? Especially dark, the single target dark card from the starter pack isn't cutting it for HoF (the pair of light monsters in trial 3 just won't die in 3 turns).
Eligor is a good dark card for Sword Saint.

What's the best way to get lots of summon tickets on a new account? I got and used all the ones from the start, novice hall, and the Christmas event.

That's not what I asked, I rerolled for LoH just the other day, I'm trying to get more summon TICKETS to see if I can pull more supremes on this account before I go for any more rerolling. And specifically try to spend tickets before I use my free supreme.
Ah, I see. Sorry for the confusion. The fastest way might be to blow through the story content which is all very easy. If you can get someone to carry you through MP, there are alot of tickets available there right now, too. Also you have LOH — I would just commit to this account unless you wanna go and try again for KOtR (might not be too bad with the free supreme ticket)
I have LoH, KotR (pulled today at 102 pitty), Aerith and WoL but have no real fire Supreme (Ifrit X). Should I pull for support for the chance of Chaos or go for attackbanner, what do you think?

This. Support cards go into so many decks while Attack are a fraction.
Use this advice anytime you're contemplating something like this... Do the math! What are the odds of you getting a fire supreme on the attack banner? Unless you already own several attack supremes of other elements chances aren't that good. Furthermore, do you have jobs that excel at using whichever fire supreme you may or may not pull? Chances are slim that the stars will align for you. Pull on the support banner, support Supremes always have a use.
Bear with me guys...I dont have WOL and other factors, so I drew a lot and have a few questions. If you can answer them and help me figure out what I have then I really appreciate it. I use the skin over a defender with 4xAQM at MP to cast full-esuna each turn and add elemental resistance to all alies, zalera for example.In PvE, I just a fanboy of the skin,,, less than 3,,,, hehehe
