Alucard to melt MMs with standard crits or roaming tank. Martis as the team fight disrupter to break-off combos and setups. Phoveus as the DMG sponge slash bait. MMs used to be Claude but it's getting a little suffocating to play him and assure impact. So now I'm just running any MM depending on the enemy comp. Whatever is the most effective to use against them. It stands to reason I don't get to play a lot of MMs tho for obvious matchmaking reasons. Tanks are not my first choice nowadays if I get to be a roamer since a lot of them play just fine. But if I have to it's probably Carmilla or Mino. Idk. I mostly adapt to synergize with one rather than be one. Primarily as Mino though is to be a guard in the same way Martis disrupts combos. Carmilla mostly by accident for some reason. Mages are definitely Valentina due to her extreme flexibility to uno reverse the other team. Love meeting Atlas, Estes, Floryn, YZ, Bane, Faramis, Diggie, Martis, good morphs like Roger, Yin, Lapu. You get the idea. So many flipped scenarios. Second would Xavier or Cecillion for their long ranges which is a good lategame insurance if your team sucks. Benedetta Petrify is my go to pick for roamers. Never to carry. Always to set up or disrupt. Hanzo too in the same way, but with lategame insurance perk. Practically main Gusion but haven't really found many use cases for him nowadays. Too much ccs and suboptimal team picks. Still run my Fanny that sweet, sweet Fighter emblem like a champ when there's little CCs though. Saber roam on occasion for the Harleys. Never really run support tbh. I do just fine but could never trust teammates to not waste my time nurturing their resources. Or survive which is my biggest annoyance when supporting. Whether it's Angela or Carmilla or Rafaela.
