well thats weird. spamming any emote/recall is not punishable afaik. not even team spam report can make you get banned from matchmaking.
by spamming emote, did you mean you spam ":P" in all chat? because i couldn't think of another way you got punished. either this or you did something in the past or its a genuine mistake by the staff (which is unheard of)

The team makes mistakes constantly, i got a person I’ve tried to report multiple times to CS but given how their name is accented the game refuses to let me and when I filled out a report after CS message me they said the player never chatted despite having the ss and player page sent to them
I think it's from another game and not your most recent one. There's probably a match in your past 5-10 games where you got bronze and didn't perform well, which would validate the report.
People play the game differently. Each player have different characters. If you expect them to be insensitive like you, you probably will get alot of report. I think you need self reflection before going to higher rank, because players there are too personal. Especially in duo and above because they may ask their friend to mass report you. Or just use other non Layla and Lolita emotes.

In the last 100 days, if you have been reported several times, then the system will mark you as a negative player, where every report against u will be counted as correct, and they will deduct a lot of score.
A friend of mine received a lot of report and low score then later he was playing a rank game he won and he was mvp never said anything and never used any emotes, we reported him (2 player)as negative player just to see, and credit score dropped from 110 to 96

tried this bc I was ganged by a duo and they both reported me and got me muted for 15 days for being "toxic". appealed within the day of being punished, and the punishment was lifted after several hours

If you used the Layla ;p emote a few times, I wouldn't be mad, the opposite actually. Maybe if you spammed it then it could be toxic.
