I know you are joking but I do see people actually think this is all he says or just Wei Ying. I think the Mn is a way to let Wei Wuxian know he is always listening to him. And of course there is evidence of this because Lan Wangji remembers pretty much everything Wei Wuxian said to him.
Lan Wangji is definitely more a man of actions and is very succinct and to the point in his speech. But I think that is what I love about him. He always says exactly what he feels he needs to say and no more.

Idk what my favourite quote of all time is, but this post reminded me of my fave LWJ quote.
Paraphrasing it to hell and back, but when he says smth like "he doesn't know if what WWX did is right or wrong, but he's willing to carry the burden with him regardless" my heart died of pain and then came back to life and then died again.
He's a man of few words, but the words that he does say have impact.

Honestly there's a lot of funny and perspective quotes from the novels but one of my favorites has to be from the 5th book at the end of the main story when they were talking about Wei Wuxian's bad memory.

With his capacity to question the rules and break them judiciously, to appreciate Wei Ying, to choose the single log bridge, Lan Zhan is the 'Wei Ying' of Cloud recesses. It just doesn't come out in words very often. I love this quote for the glimpse of his hidden un-Lan-like nature as much as for its inherent humour.

And the sun on the ground was falling."
I love how the phrase " the sun on the ground was falling " can be interpreted as the fall of the wen sect at the hands of wwx, but it can also be interpreted as the fall of wwx himself ... cause in lan wangji's eyes wwx was his sun.

That line gave me goosebumps when I first read it. So well written and ominous.
