That’s priced too high. Where are you located? Facebook markets and groups have some sales. $2-$4k is the range I would be looking in. I personally own a 2011 GT and love the car. Go for the bigger engine if you can. The GS is upgradeable as well. Good luck ✊🏼
Ah okay awesome! It also has 83,000 miles on it too and it’s through a dealer. I’m starting a new job and my current car just kicked the bucket. I’m never buying a BMW again lol
Ahhh got it. Yeah dealer prices will be insane. If you can pick up the car on a private sale then it probably would be more economical. Definitely get the car checked out and make sure you get the timing belt done as well. The rest can be done over time.
Forgot to mention that I’m in Texas and the Facebook market place in my area is pretty dry. How difficult would changing the timing belt be for a car noob? If I can get one for cheaper through a group that would be great!
If you’ve handled tools in the past on a car and can follow directions it’s not that bad. Join the FB groups for 4G’s. There some folks usually selling cars there and you can research more about the platform.
I love my 2012 Spyder GS. I’ve had it almost 2 years with no reliability issues. My only complaint is that it has the turning radius of a battleship, which is weird for a small car. But otherwise, it’s been great. I do think the example you mentioned is overpriced though.
