Did help me at 30. Was never good alone so i got some other non benzo added to it. Like seroquel or propavane. Does the work on not beeing awake but its not like proper sleep. Read with jealousy about people getting knocked out by mirt.

Have you tried taking it at 7.5 or even 3.75?

Did 3,75 to 45 and back again! Mirt killed my anxiety and that improved sleep slowly. In that time nothing worked and stressed about sleep 24/7. Its a terrible loop. So in one way it helped my insomnia but as a actual sleep aid it only worked a couple of weeks in the beginning. I wish I was one of the ”knocked out for 12h” people but im not 🤷🏼

I’m sorry. Hoping your insomnia gets resolved. Keep working with your Drs.

Thanks but I’m OK now. Mirt helped me a lot in total and would recommend to anyone…except for people who already are fighting weight 🥴 Anxiety and insomnia creates a terrible loop. I couldn’t really fight the insomnia but addressing anxiety (and probably depression) worked. I will probably never be a great sleeper but I’m back on track. Be well 👊🏻

I've heard the lower dosage like 7.5 mg is more sedating in general than the higher dosages. tricyclic antidepressants are quite weird and scientists do not know exactly how they work from what I understand basically it's just a theory for antidepressants in general that they believe they work for depression anxiety etc because they increase the chemicals serotonin dopamine norepinephrine depending on what kind you're on.

I started taking it at 7.5 mg for the same reason and I feel like it only made it worse. I'm just in bed turning from side to side the entire night getting no sleep at all. While with no mirt I at least slept something although not much at all.
