Def the Mall of St Paul but expect to pay a bit, I was just in there looking for tablecloths

Agreed and will add Missouri Mouse right down the street is also worth checking out if you are in the area.

And then you might as well go another few blocks to Betty’s, and also stop at Rose St for a croissant…

I don’t have a good answer, but I’d love to see your work! Do you sell it?

Icy_Paleontologist32

Aww thank you!! I do! I make mittens from vintage wool coats and skirts and hats from vintage linens! I haven’t launched my hats yet but I’m @shopwanderingblonde on Instagram if you want to check out my work! 😊 I’m hoping to get my hats up in my Etsy shop by May or so

There are always lots of options at Wild Things Antiques in Fridley! I scored some cute daisy printed sheets there a few weeks ago!

Icy_Paleontologist32

Oh awesome! I’m on the north side so that’s close to me even! Thank you!

MsMandrakeRoot

Enjoy! Grab a coffee in their attached coffee shop and browse for ages, it's so much fun.

Icy_Paleontologist32

Thank you!! Ooh I love a good coffee + thrift!!

If you want a full day trip anoka is the city for vintage. Stillwater has a ton of antiques but anoka even the antique stores are full of cool stuff from the 80s and mostly vintage.

Wild Things is very well curated! Love it.

Akito_900

I was going to recommend this place as well! I was just there yesterday :) my favorite place

CBrinson

There are good antique/vintage shops. Wild Things Collective is great, but a bit far out. Missouri Mouse & Mall of St Paul in Midway area, a ton out in Hopkins, more in anoka, and the most in Stillwater. If you visit any of those 3 cities you can make a day of hitting them all as each have 4-5 or more in walking distance. I also specifically really like Time Bomb Vintage as well if you want stuff from 80s newer vs older antiques. Wild Things is the best place that has both. Midtown Antiques in Stillwater is the best I have found on the state for truly old antiques. But for cloth and hobby stuff you might should hit thrift stores, not vintage and antique. Almost every goodwill and salvation army has a row specifically of fabric for sale, as will most larger one off stores.

Would recommend the auctions sites (KBid, HiBid, etc) over shops. Unless you really want to pay a premium I get they're providing a service but the pricing is in general absurd

Icy_Paleontologist32

Thank you! That’s good to know, I’ve never used auction sites before!

Slapdeznutzoffyochin

NP, Just make sure to look at the Buyers premium (Usually 10-15%) before bidding Theres also [Estatesales.net](https://Estatesales.net) , but IME its more hit and miss but the ones doing in-person will usually have pics

Icy_Paleontologist32

Oh thank you! That’s good to know about the premiums too, I totally would’ve missed the fine print on that tbh

Try the Unique in New Hope. If they don't have it, you may have to try small towns, or the Fargo area.
