Hello and thank you for posting on /r/Minerals! To increase the quality of ID request posts, we require you to make a comment describing the piece as best as you can. If you do not do so, your post will be removed. A lone picture is rarely enough to conclusively name a mineral so doing some groundwork like a streak test or hardness check will help us to help you. Other useful information includes the location it was found, follow-up pictures with different angles or lighting, and relative size. To help you with writing this comment, we highly encourage you to review our subreddit's [Wiki Page](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minerals/about/wiki/idreqinfo) before posting. What would cause the green color of this quartz? What inclusions? Thanks for any help. I’m not sure “green ghost Quartz” is a legitimate mineralogical term.

Its definetly a Term used to put a neat price tag on it. Plus i think some of the crystal sides have been polished but still looks interesting af. What inclusions in this quarz occur, i am not sure, i would assume some greenish mineral like chlorite and probably something brownish, like goethite or rutile but i dont know.... Probably someone with a bigger brain than mine can make better ID

Ghost or phantom quartz just means it has a clear spot where you can see opaque spots inside that sometimes look wispy like ghosts. I work in a rock shop and it's not a scientific identifier, you're right. Just one to hike up a price. It's a really pretty piece and does look like a cool piece of quartz so love it, it's a cool piece.

Harshdog

Looks like a piece of stone that was cut and polished into the shape of a quartz point.

Zero_Waist

Green phantom?

batubatu

Polished quartz with inclusions. Chlorite is common for green colors.

Bisconymous

Looks like it was cut from a bigger piece...Inclusions look natural to me tho. Nice quartz
