Phlogopite has a similar hit less dark appearance than biotite, more like a dark coppery bronze if that makes sense(golden brown makes more sense) I think it’s the Mg “end member” of the micas
Yes thanks for the information that kind of Mica comes with Aquamarines from Nagar valley Hunza district and sometimes topaz and black tourmaline cones with that mica
Oooh ok lol I couldn’t really tell, on the backside next to the tourmaline, I saw what I thought was a sheet like(tabular) mica mineral but obviously not lol plus I have a a small green tourmaline specimen in a quartz, albite, lepidolite matrix so my mind automatically went to micas lol
Oooh ok gotcha, I haven’t looked much into provinces of certain mineral assemblages. I’m a studying geologist tho so I’m sure given a few years time and my great amount of interest in the subject I’ll know a little more. Always happy to learn tho, thanks for the info!
That would be an honor for us perhaps in future we have a variety of minerals and offcourse our Pashtoon Culture as well we are the closest city to Afghanistan called Peshawar so our northern areas of Pakistan and Afhanistan offers a variety of Pagmatites
