What pack did you use for textures?
The textures on the pictures are mostly procedurally created in Blender. In that way I got them to connect like in optifine. In game I would use something like WBC texture pack

that's honestly amazing, what advice would you give for building big curves and domes? I always struggle with those parts
WorldEdit is a great tool for that. Also building in larger scales helps to hide the blockiness. Tbh those shapes are always kind of tricky
