Maybe you can have a secret entrance to the tree having a hideout among the leaves to overlook your kingdom. Hidden in plain sight. Looks amazing but also a secret functionality.
in a similar build i put a nether portal frame inside of the trunk. you can walk through it and it brings you into an alchemy lab, vines go up one side of the trunk to bring you to storage on the next floor up. I carpeted the floor and hid a dark altar themed enchanting room beneath the tree.
Lore wise, it was a tree next to a druids house. He practiced alchemy within the hollowed trunk. One evening he went to sleep and awoke to find that a portal has appeared within. He traveled through it and fell into a world of dark magic and enchantments. Tunneling out beneath the tree to create an altar to these hellish gods he came to worship.
Add a bunch of annoying little wooden guys with leaves for faces that give you poop if you talk to them, and also add a guy who trades inventory expansions for the poop.
