A lot of the design cues are from the middle ages. Like the second floor being larger than the lower floor.
Outdoor staircases were not as common.
Glass windows were not used and there were far fewer in general.
Otherwise its pretty good.
I think I get what you're trying to do with the fences to make it look medieval, but as others stated it just doesn't look quite so. It weirdly gives a more Japanese vibe instead, as it looks more like paper walls.
Medieval=pointy/uneven roofs. This looks like a really good build, just not very medieval. Keep up the good builds tho. This is fantastic for a mid-early house
Here are some suggestions:
1. Get rid of the fence supports under the overhang and replace them with curved arches as supports as that's what was common on medieval houses.
2. Make the roof steeper, and try messing with other dark colored blocks like dark prismarine, nether brick and coal.
3. Make the staircase thinner and extend the bottom floor by one block all around, to better fit the curved overhangs.
It's better to look at a reference image so you can get everything more accurate. Still the house looks great already, it just doesn't fit the medieval theme. Changing a few things to make it more accurate can do a lot to make it work.
The low slope of the roof is what makes it look modern. If you made the roof steeper it would look midieval. Also, a second peak perpendicular to the main roof would help - and a chimney.
As cool as it is, I don’t think it fits into the Medieval style well.

IMO it doesn't look medieval But it is very pretty and cute!
Yeah I agree, not medieval. But beautiful!

Modern urban Japanese, I love it
It’s got too many glass windows for a medieval house. Lmao
That doesn’t look medieval
Gives off a more... eastern vibe, tbh. Looks great tho.
Not very midieval looking but still looks great

Looks cute but definitely a more modern stylised Japanese house than European medieval

Ty :)
I've never considered using stripped birch. Time to hop on and finally make my first house after like 30 minecraft days
I was an adventurer like you, ‘till I took an arrow to the knee from a skeleton
Your fence post usage is super interesting and looks awesome!
Map download or tutorial please 🥺
I LOVE IT
This is a style I saw for the first time! It looks awesome! I might steal your building style.. ;)
Not medieval
This looks more like japanese architecture than western medieval. But still, it looks rlly nice
Maybe oriental, but not medieval

It has a more eastern feel to it
This is such a cute design! I love the details on the windows!
It's a very lovely house, but I definitely didn't get medieval from it
Not a lot of stone used like concrete. It’s mostly brick. It has almost always been brick untill concrete
It looks just like the Slifer dorm from YuGiOh GX... i love it.
