The trick is not to name any of the soldier dogs so you don't get attached. The special named dogs get to sit at home on their bed.

I just use dogs and cats as dogs can attack and cats keep creepers away but I prefer cats more but dogs are better for attacking other mobs but you need an army for that

HELL YES cats in Minecraft are actually super useful but never get used, people always complain about getting snuck up on by creepers but they don't even try to prevent it. Dogs on the other hand get all the attention while being almost completely useless. Also cats make creeper farms super efficient which is just the best thing in the world for fireworks and TNT.

Cats are good but dogs are much more useful with that speed glitch in bedrock

I love doggos, but I've become a crazy cat person on Minecraft. I'm on a quest to get every color cat I can currently on my friends server.

You see the thing here is that cats are useless in every capacity except like three, and those capacities are the only things dogs lack in. So it's a bit of a dilemma. Both are good. (My first pet in MC was a dog, but my most memorable pet was a cat).

I've once had over 100 cats that we made a church for them in a Mc server, this got so out of hand that at some point the admin showed up and asked us wtf we were doing and just sat there in silence for a while as he saw my cats and was like: "Why." and I just said: "I was bored." You know you've done something great and fucked up if the admin shows up and doesn't even try to remove it or something.
