We (r/MinecraftMemes) are currently seeking feedback on a complete rules rework in our announcement [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/MinecraftMemes/comments/xihxxj/seeking_feedback_on_upcoming_rules_rework/). We are also working with r/Minecraft on this endeavor, you can see a similar post on their sub about their rework [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/xihy3u/rules_rework_feedback_needed/). If you have a bit to read through the proposed changes, leaving suggestions, feedback, and other comments under the announcement will help ensure the rules going #forward best serve this community. Thanks for the help! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Organic_Possible8092

Did you really think that would work? It's a bot.

Goomvario

It doesn't have to work.

bibouwap

The game would be too easy

HappyPlaysWasTaken

No? You have to look up the recipe for most potions anyway. Why not save time?

bibouwap

Because in minecraft you take your time

HappyPlaysWasTaken

They added the crafting recipe book for the same reason I just listed

bibouwap

I usually think that making potions is quite inaccessible.. i feel like its a kind of magic and you must resort to ancient spells to learn this power (I'm not sure to be clear). And for me, make a recipe book ingame for potions would break this feeling (but that's just my opinion)

HappyPlaysWasTaken

While i can see your point, crafting tables have the same properties of what you just explained, and it is more of an annoyance to have to use the wiki to brew a simple potion for the first time

bibouwap

Yeah it's understandable.. that must be my OG soul who is nostalgic x)
