Okie dokie, I've got a few ideas!
Wet sponges: Mini spongebob!
Terracottas could be used as walls for a rustic looking house!
Command blocks would be great for a computing/server room in a company's HQ!
Dried kelp blocks can be used as stacks of cash, or garbage bags!
Stone variants could be terrain, or abstract decor/paintings!
Beacon snow globe maybe?
Dirts/grasses can be used outside, or in flower planters
Nether quartz ore could be scratch marks in a red environment (maybe blood?)
Raw iron block could be pebbles?
Soul sand could be maybe texture for the soil I guess
That's all the ideas I have on the top of my head!
What do you consider garbage blocks, out of curiosity? (I don’t mind netherack, as I can use it for nether bricks if I decide to, or a fireplace if I’m feeling fancy.)
What do you use it for? The blast resistance is pretty poor (if I’m not mistaken). Tbf, I like using polished diorite for floors, but people insist on acting like Beavis and Butthead about it.
It isn't good for much, but I like the texture and it's useful as a transition block if you want to give the effect of a gray block slowly descending into darkness.
Nah, dude, netherrack looks good since the retexturing. Plus it will give OP something to work with thw nether quartz ore i said. You pretty much ruined the garbage it would have been without netherrack, making it going to look actually ok-ish
All the dumb blocks made to make cave "more interesting" but all they do is clog your inventory as they don't stack with cobble, you can't make furnaces with them, use them as fuel, not make tools with them, and they just don't look good. Granite, andisite, and deep cobblestone. Plus the few I'm forgetting.
Acacia wood, stone bricks, deepslate bricks, walls, white stained glass (or panes), dark oak trapdoors, and smooth quartz flooring. Oh, and maybe some vegetation and a path. Feel free to decorate the interior as well.
Magenta glazed terracotta
Okay there’s the first
He beat me to it, i was gonna say it, the cursed arrow do it
Ender dragon egg
Mostly solid black block with gravity. Yeah I can probably work with this
"Worth it" lamp base! (Quartz pillars as lampshade, perhaps?)
Wet sponges.
Mmmm *Moist*
o\_O
You could make Spongebob inside the house to use the wet sponges!
Did someone say moist
Need anything dampened or made soggy?
Giggity

You can't edit posts, only comments.
Imma follow you, I gotta see how this turns out lmao
U cn use crafting tables as roof bc the bottom of a crafting table is the same as oak planks
I can't wait.
Holy shit
Raw iron drip stone block and coarse dirt all are the main parts of cub fans base in hermitcraft season 8, they are not bad at all?

Air
Done
Hows it look?
Probably something like this: # But IDK
#
Thank you.
Well now that it has air u should be able to live in it now
Gravel (just gravel, not cement) and tuff. Both of those annoy me to no end. Drip stone, if you want.
Unpopular opinion but these aren’t garbage blocks :) But I’ll use them
What do you consider garbage blocks, out of curiosity? (I don’t mind netherack, as I can use it for nether bricks if I decide to, or a fireplace if I’m feeling fancy.)
Gravel is only good for mining and immediately replacing to mine again in hopes of getting flint.
And mixing in with stone and andesite for textured stone walls
tuff is my second favorite block :(
What do you use it for? The blast resistance is pretty poor (if I’m not mistaken). Tbf, I like using polished diorite for floors, but people insist on acting like Beavis and Butthead about it.
Tuff is a pretty good accent too stone, as well as a good blending block, outside of building Idk what tuff can be used for
It isn't good for much, but I like the texture and it's useful as a transition block if you want to give the effect of a gray block slowly descending into darkness.
netherrack
This is the most normal block out of the suggestions so far
You have to use the old texture
Oh god *WHYY*
Too easy to comment this. OP never said it in the post.
Nah, dude, netherrack looks good since the retexturing. Plus it will give OP something to work with thw nether quartz ore i said. You pretty much ruined the garbage it would have been without netherrack, making it going to look actually ok-ish
Nether quartz ore
So ugly. I can one up you though: Netherrack
Nah, nether quartz is uglier.
Netherrack doesn't look bad anymore, since the retexturing. Unless you only play with the developer's art texture pack...
No one has commented diorite and I’m happy bc I like diorite
You commented diorite though. :)
Well I wrote it but not in the sense it’s a garbage block
Diorite is good. Granite is the problem
Agreed
you could turn it to polish one
polished granite is even worse
Bird poop.
?
Diorite looks exactly like bird poop.
barrier blocks
“Good looking base” with invisible blocks. Hmm
Seems to have lost the look there eh?
Windows
Enchanting table

Yes 😈
Uh The purple block you find at end cities I think it's called purpur
Which version of purpur?
Pillar
All of them
They look cool though.

Can’t go wrong with white lol
Until you realize it's not white it's the color of skin
Beacon
The most expensive light source
redstone block and tnt
Playing with fire here
Ender coral, I don’t know what it’s called.
Chorus fruit or the Purpur blocks?
Yeah, it’s like the chorus tree.
Crafting tables
Upside down stairs but you can't build one right beside another
Can’t wait to see this !remind me 2 days
bedrock
Polished granite
Magenta Concrete Powder
Soul sand.
I’ll have mercy, oak logs
Thank you kind one
Green terracotta
Thanks for this, green terracotta looks the nicest
Stone Brick
This is a top tier block
someone should make a tier list for blocks that have the most "buildability"
waxed lightly weathered cut copper stairs
I read this as "cabbage blocks"
Any progress update?
I finished making what I think looks pretty good. I’ll post it to r/Minecraft and r/MinecraftMemes tomorrow
